Love the shape this gives and the awesome uplift - it is the only bra I have worn, out of Freya, panache, cleo, etc (underwired bras), that lifts my boobs from the bottom with no part of my breast touching my ribcage - so that is good. It sets your boobs further apart (at the point of the bra), but the pointed shape makes my bust look smaller. Although it is a high coverage bra, the pink colour looks nice on, it looks good under high necklines (I will try to add photo comparisons to my 2nd best up lift bra (one of the Cleo's)! I am a ...34H in the Cleo bras too, however due to the shape of this full cup bra, this 34H means that my boobs touch a lot in the middle (however there is no overspill at the top - so no quad boob look), so I think I will need to go up a cup size or two to allow the shape the work properly and get a bit more separation. Haven't worn it for a length of time yet - so will update after I have tried that! Read more 87 more words
A comfortable bra with pretty lace, but too big in the band and not a very flattering breast shape (a bit oldfashioned). Still, not too bad when I just want something light and comfortable. I had this bra in 80E before I lost weight and noticed then that the band would stretch out quite quickly.
It is very comfortable to wear. Tends to stay in position well after "scoop and swoop". I have had it and worn it regularly (~3 times a week) for over 6 months now. It is slightly stretched out now, so the band is getting a tad loose for me, but it has held up well and still does it's job.
It is a good colour (nude), invisible under light coloured tops, and a lovely soft fabric. There have been no underwires poking out, frayed edges, or other damage despite such frequent use.
I give it top marks as an everyday and work bra. It is subtle under clothes, and gives good shape without giving an obvious pushed up boobs look. I will definitely be buying another of this bra!
This is a light bra with lace that does not give much support. While the band fits somewhat ok on the innermost hooks, the cups are not for me: too much fabric on the bottom while digging in at the top. The wires are too rounded for me (dig into the ribs after some time).
This is a really firm control bra, almost like a sports bra. The girls don't argue when they are strapped in here. It is well made and should last a long time, is comfortable to wear though I wouldn't want to go more than 12 hours in one go. I went for 38D though I usually wear 38DD so there is a little overspill but I don't think I would quite fill the DD.
This bra fits okay in the band, since Triumph 34 runs small. However, when I swoop and scoop properly I get slight quad-boob. It is nice and smooth under most shirts until I do that. Very pretty.
The lace border on one of the cups has flipped up, and I cannot get it to sit flat anymore. However, I have been machine washing the bra for 6+ years so don't take this as an indictment of the bra.
Lace does not feel particularly high quality. A bit rough and artificial-feeling. It is not visible under t-shirt fabric, though. Fabric all over feels synthetic but smooth.
The bra gives a perky, but slightly east-west appearance. I would not wear this on a special occasion or under unforgiving clothing; it is a daily wear bra.
Fit / Comfort -
It is one band size too large ...for me, but the band is firm without much stretch so it is quite comfortable. I can wear it on any of the hooks, but prefer the middle hook for comfort.
The straps are half adjustable. I have quite wide shoulders and lower set breasts, and I have the straps at between half and 3/4 their possible length. Women with higher set breasts or small shoulders may have problems with this bra.
The wires do not cut or rub. They are neither high nor low at the sides; fit without issues. Read more 91 more words
This bra is a vintage gem but it must be worn with the right attitude or you run the risk of looking dowdy. The size is larger than I need (regularly 32FF or 30G) but the bands only start at a 34. Because it's so supportive in construction, however, it's quite firm and uplifting. VERY pointy shape. Love it with high waisted undies.
It's very easy to wear. The fabric and straps are soft and stretchy, which adds to comfort but takes away from support. The straps are also narrow. The cups consist of two layers that don't always line up, ie. the inner layer tends to form creases. Bigger Triumph bras tend to be very flat and round. This one's a bit pointier. The elastic band that goes around the torso is firm, so it's (still) wearable even though the band is too loose for me.
One of the hooks came loose on one side, but I was able to fix it.
To say it's unattractive is an understatement. But then again, it's not supposed to be sexy or cute, hence the name "Business Shaper".
Does this bra really fit you? It looks like the top of the wires between your boobs don't lie flat in the picture...
Well, when I stand up straight it looks okay (there's maybe a .2 inch gap) but it starts to pull away as soon as I bend over. You're right, I should change the fit.
