I'm a fan of this style. I currently own 3 in different colours and sizes. The gore does come up a bit high for my and is too wide to tack. Also, the fact that there's moderate padding throughout will guaranty it never tacks on my close boobs. The gore rests on top of my boobs but it doesn't stab or poke so it doesn't case any discomfort. If I truly had to be picky about one thing though, it would be the softness of the straps is not what I've become accustomed to with my Parfait Caseys. That one fact alone isn't enough to change my feelings towards this bra as a whole.
I often debate whether I prefer this bra or the 28GG - Freya » Deco Moulded Plunge Bra (4234) as my go-to nude bra. The band on the 28GG Freya is tighter and firmer, while on the 30G Casey, it's quite elastic, which I've reviewed before is not my preference. If it rides up (which it does), it pushes down on back fat, which is less than flattering in tight dresses and shirts. Also something to note, the band elastic doesn't seem to last as long as the Freya Deco since it's a single sheet of elastic rather than two layers as in my Deco. Also, ...the wires creak. It has to do with the type of wire and the rubberiness (not a word) woven into the fabric.
All that being said, I own several Caseys in nude and euro nude. I like that the cups are softer and more pliable than the Deco. I can easily squish myself into shirts that will shape and frame my boobs, rather than having my boobs manipulating the shirt in weird shapes thereby causing a less than streamlined silhouette. To better elaborate, I'm describing the fabric gap that forms under the bust and tappers towards your waistline causing you to look wider than you actually are. Casey sometimes helps me feel like I have manageable boobs and can fit in those XS/S tops I'm supposed to stay away from.
I suppose each bra serves its own purpose. The Deco for spandex-like materials and the Casey for everything else. Read more 150 more words
This bra is so cute, and I'm really bummed it didn't fit. The cups are a lot shallower than I thought they'd be. I'd probably need to size up at least two cup sizes in order for this bra to fit.
Center gore didnt sit against sternum. Straps were too far apart. Seam seemed too wide for my breast shape.
Could wear it as a strapless, but I didn't quite fill it.
Cute bra, just didn't fit.
Updated: Aug 2014 Gore does not sit against sternum, wires/band construction seems very flimsy. I do not own this bra, but wanted to update the fit. I do fill the cups now. The top of the cupa do not cut in at all, but that feels more like part of the flimsy feeling from the band and wires. I don't think it would be a safe strapless bra for me.
I really like how this fits, although it doesn't feel *quite* wide enough on my bigger side. I'm hoping I can stretch the wires just enough to make it more comfortable. I will be able to wear this regardless.
This cup is way too small. I ordered a 30g off of ebay and didn't pay attention to sizing. It isn't UK sizing; it is a US 30G. I wear a 32g (or 30gg in UK).
bought this for a friend, didn't fit her. i don't have any info on it otherwise as its faaaar from my size, but in my experience Parfait by Affinitas runs tight in the band and shallow. this band is definitely snug, she needed an extender to try it on, and it is possibly exacerbated by the 3 hook closure. i bought it for really cheap though, so im sure i can find a good home for it here or on braswap!
This bra does very little in the way of support and it mostly just pushes my breasts outward. These cups are so wide set it verges on ridiculous. The wires end behind my armpit and my breasts are pushed out to the sides. The apex of the bra is positioned much further out then the apex of my breast and, no matter how I adjust everything, it looks more like I'm wearing an incorrectly fit bra on top of my breasts, not actually on them. I suspect this contributes to the spillage I have in in middle by the gore and on top. Additionally, I typically wear a ...30FF or G because I'm in between sizes and cups on this were still small despite being a G. The straps are very long and I had to shorten them as much as I could. The straps are also made with two plastic rings; one sits uncomfortably on my clavicle the other creaks conspicuously as the straps shift around it. The lace trim is horrible. It flops out from the edges of the cups and is scratchy on the straps. This bra is pretty, which is about the only good thing I have to say about it. The lace overlay and trim looks very nice. I have both the ivory and the purple, which is actually a very lovely shade somewhere between grey and purple. Unfortunately, it looks horrible actually on me and doesn't do much in the way of what it is supposed to do as a bra. Read more 148 more words
Why, you ask? Because it is so damn adorable. I feel the construction on it is better than the Cleo bras. Rather than two flimsy hooks in the back, there are three good hooks. The band feels firm, not quite as stretchy.
AND IT DOESN'T FIT. I bought it online but GUESS WHAT they were using US cup sizes. Having it come in as a UK G was a rude surprise. :'(

The Casey bra has very soft cups that would work better for you if you have a bit of shape problems with Decos which have less pliable cups. The moulding is what I would describe "squishy" and that also adds to the comfort level. Cups feel a tad bigger than equivalent Deco size, but not enough to make a difference. The straps are stretchy and comfortable and the band closes with 3 hooks at the back. The lace detail on the cup doesn't really show under anything I own.
The band on this bra is confusing to me though. I don't know if I like it or dislike it. ...It has this stretchiness to it that is definitely firmer than a Deco, but the load distribution does not seem to spread across the band from top to bottom but rather is concentrated at the top and bottom where the elastic is. The middle part is a mesh material which does no heavy lifting. The result is that this band will ride up and stay up stubbornly. Apart from that though, the rest of the bra is great and gives me pretty cleavage. Read more 84 more words
This is my first half cup (balconet) bra. What attracted me to it was the scalloped cup shape.
My favourite part about this bra is the shape of the cups. They are lightly padded foam and the padding does not graduate towards the bottom of the cup. The straps are my least favourite thing about this bra since they are a bit on the thin side. I do find it cutting into my shoulders and arms whenever I move.
The band stretches easily but also pulls back quite tightly. It's very hard to explain but I think it might have to do with the fact that the elastic is ...strong, however the mesh part of the wings are not contributing to the overall support. It's very thin and serves just to hold everything in place, but is not very load bearing. This might not actually bother many people since I've not heard many complaints about it, so it could just be me. The gore comes up a bit higher than I can withstand. My threshold is very low at about 2.5 inches.
I decided to keep this bra, but it's on low rotation. I just save it for life's more sultry moments. I do still enjoy the shelf cleavage it gives me when I need it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 115 more words
This is a really nice bra and not as expensive as the Deco. It's too bad that it's discontinued. The band is nice and snug and I feel very supported, however I really could use one cup size larger but it does not come in a cup larger than a G. It gives a very nice rounded shape under your clothes and nice cleavage while still fitting like a good bra should.
Super cute bra. Doesn't even come close to fitting me properly. The band is very firm and short in comparison to most 30 bras that I own. It fits more like a 28. It's so tight on me that not only is it uncomfortable, breathing is uncomfortable. I definitely need to be in a 32 for this bra. The cup is way too shallow for me. In this bra, I would likely fit an H or HH. It's too bad. I can't give much light to comfort since it really didn't fit me.
I got this bra because it was on sale and I was curious about the brand, but I think it's confirming for me that I really am more comfortable in a 28 band these days. I started with it on the tightest hook.
The quality seems alright. Perhaps it seems a slight step down from the Panache bras that I've grown more used to, in little details like the inner lining being non-uniform in color. The cup molding is nice and soft. I'm a bit conflicted as to whether I find the lace overlay pretty or just excessive and unnecessary on top of the molding.
Two major ...things give me the most pause when it comes to keeping this as a looser-banded comfy bra - the gore doesn't tack for me and the straps are right at the joints of my arms (so I suspect it would be uncomfortable for longer wear). I have soft, puddle-inclined breast tissue and I think this contributes to the slightly off fit of the cups making me pour out the middle and push out the gore/push down the wires into my rib cage. The molding also wrinkles at the bottom of the cups right away, so this is probably another sign for me that the cup/band combination aren't going to work for me.
I tried to go by sister-size, influenced by 28Hs being a tad bit big and my fit adventures with the 28GG - Freya » Patsy Plunge Balcony Bra (1221) suggesting the G in 30 might be the right cup volume. Perhaps I'd do better in a 30GG, but I'm guessing that the band looseness paired with cup shape and my soft tissue probably makes this a no-go for me. Read more 182 more words
My breasts are slightly asymmetrical so one breast fits really nicely and one has a little gap at the top of the cup. The dusty rose and black are very pretty and I love the shape this gives. The only problem I have with this bra is that the straps dig in my arm pits, which is unfortunately really common for me. I can't seem to figure out a way to alter it so I guess I will live with it. I thought about using a clip to pull the straps together in the back but I think it would make the cups stick out.
I'm normally a person who puts on their bra upside down and backwards, and then flips and rotates. Having to do 5 hooks behind my back is quite the challenge.
The band does feel snug. Perhaps I'd be better off with a 32G.
It does cut in along the top of my breasts a little bit. Perhaps I am too full on top. (I have a mostly, "full in the middle" shape, but maybe a little full on top.)
The center gore is too high for me, and the underwires sit on top of my breast tissue.
A better fit for me than the Deco, and very smooth under clothes, but still not enough immediate projection. Also, the straps rub under my arms and are uncomfortable.
