I can’t help but laugh when I look at the pictures of me wearing this bra. 😂

If I needed a bra to feel super ~nasty~ in, this would be it!

For real though, this bra is very narrow but not uncomfortably so. It’s SUPER projected and gave me bullet boobs. I literally had a shelf sticking out from my chest! 🤣 It gives that nice Marie Antoinette look, except I was probably 1 cm away from falling completely out of this bra. Obviously 36G is too small for me. I’m willing to give this another try in a 36GG and 36H because with all the obvious fit issues aside, I kinda like the look this bra gives me (the bullet/shelf boobs, not the nips falling out all over the place part).

    • This comes out almost cartoonish, but manages to do so without being grotesque.

    • To avoid ambiguity, I do mean in a way some people strive for, not in a pejorative way.

engineer right?! It almost looks Jessica Rabbit-like.

    • Exactly who I had in mind. If you were going to cosplay her, this would be the bra to do it in.

This bra threw me off at first, it doesn't raise your breasts up in the way that most do, by cupping them. This "directs" them so that they stick straight out. I laughed when I put it on and paraded around our house as Wonder Woman, to the amusement of my fiance. It looks good with a shirt on, awkward with a fitted or tight one though. The center gore comes up a little high and pokes my left breast and the side underwires are starting to poke now too, although I've gained a little weight that could be the cause. Overall, it fits my bell cups pretty well and I'd say the separation in front is the perfect amount, if high.

jasmine always looked great under a heavy sweater, where it let your boobs still have a visible shape!

    Used to fit

I picked this up on sale after realizing I no longer fit the bras I currently own. I think I'm somewhere between a 36FF and a 36G and am also between band sizes. 38 bands tend to slide up on me, but the 36 bands feel a little snugger than I'd like. The material is softer than another pattern I tried in the Jasmine style, but still a little scratchy. I find the wire a little wide and the gore a little too high for my preference, but it is still wearable. I wish the lace was a little tighter as my tissue isn't as firm as it used to be but the fabric part is definitely supportive. So far balconnets seem to work best for me as I don't always fill the top of the cup in other styles. I am struggling to find bras other than balconnets that work for me, but am not sure what to look for. I am interested to see how well this bra breaks in and if the comfort will improve.

Panache uses a lot of starch on their bras, you will have to wash it a few times for it to soften up.

I have the same problem with not filling the top of the cups. This looks nice on you. Thanks for the review!

Beautiful! Hope the scratchiness dissipates....SOON ;-)

Total bullet bra. Which is fine if you like that shape, but it just didn't feel supportive, and felt incredibly shelf-like. The cups were the right size for my breast tissue, but because of the placement of mine, I had gaping at the top, and the wires still too wide for me.

This is a very pretty bra, I love the print with the lace. It didn't seem to work well for my narrow, projected shape. The straps felt really wide and cut into my armpits pretty uncomfortably. The band felt comfortable but not as supportive as I'd like - it felt like the straps were doing a lot of the lifting. I'm FOB but found that the upper lace section laid flat which is pretty rare in Panache/Cleo bras (Panache Floris Balconnet Bra (7311) , Cleo Lily Balconnet Bra (7351) ) though I think I need to go up a cup ... in this bra.

My side profile was less round and more projected than I would like that may be because the cup is too small. My breasts are splayed and this bra allowed them to go a bit east-west instead of bringing them front and center. For some reason both Panache and Cleo straps feel very short on me - I'm average height so I think my breasts just sit lower. Either way, tightening the straps to get more support would be uncomfortable for me.

Why did I buy this bra? That's the question I'm asking myself while wearing it for the third time. I must admit I only bought it because I needed more bras that kind of fit, and I wasn't sold on it from the start. The lace gapes for me because there's no elastic to hold it in place (it might work better for someone fuller on top) and I think it's ugly (I've got the blue version with garish flowers on it). But other bras I wasn't initially keen on have won me over, like the Ewa Michalak CHP Kurkzak. Instead, this is ... turning out to be another Fantasie Belle, a bra that I didn't like from the start and that I came to like less and less over time.

The shape it gives me is somewhat in the blue zone, but at least it isn't east-west. I think this is largely due to the fact that the straps aren't shortened enough. I'd like to shorten the straps more, but they are only half adjustable. This bra was designed to have only half-adjustable straps by some sadistic person with a pathological hatred of short people. The straps aren't half adjustable to fit an aesthetic like delicate embroidery or different fabric in the front, nor are they limited due to engineering like the too-narrow straps widening over the shoulders. The front of the straps has exactly the same fabric as the back, except that they've sewn an extra strip of fabric on the inside of the straps in the front to prevent adjustment. One could argue it is to prevent the straps from stretching too much, but if they made the straps wider or used a less stretchy fabric they could have solved the issue in a much better way. Had I noticed the straps were only half-adjustable, I probably wouldn't have bought the bra, but by using the same fabric all the way the bra hid this horrible flaw from me until after we'd entered into a relationship.

Shall I discuss how I loathe the fact that Panache seems to think that a G cup doesn't require more than two hooks? I should have gotten a 34GG instead of a 36G, because then I wouldn't already be using the second hook and I'd have more support. I can't think of any reason why I should be on the second hook on the third wear, except that such a slender band is bound to stretch out quickly.

All in all, I think this bra is cheaply made and it shows. The only thing I like about it is that the cups are initially deep enough for me. But who is this bra aimed at? There's a lot of space on the bottom for full on bottom breasts, but the lace without elastic makes it seem like it is aimed for full on the top. I have no idea who this bra was for, but it's not for me.

Still, it seems to have its fans.
