  1. There are several things about the Confetti which I love - it's small and sheer, optically minimising the boobs and making it an awesome choice for heat waves. I'm also a big fan of the rounded and uplifting shape it gives from the side and it is quite a pretty thing with all the floral embroidery and whatnot.

The straps are only semi-adustable, but still adjusted long enough for me. Also, the bra is sold as ivory, but I'd say it was lighter - I'd call it off-white rather than ivory.

Although the bra fits me very well and when I breathe out, the cups seem even a little larger, ... I got a little quadraboob after wearing the bra all day long and bending up and down a lot (spring cleaning the flat). It's also not a bra to run aroun in :D (fixed this in the end by stitching the wide center gore together - boobs don't escape anymore). I'm tempted to try a 28J next time I order the Confetti (because I'm definitely getting a black version!) to see how it works out... but as it is, this size fits fine as well.

(EDIT: After wearing it for a few months, the cups stretched and now fit me absolutely perfectly - I was quite surprised! Also, while the underwire poked sometimes in the beginning, this has now also stopped)

Lastly, the only two things I don't like about the Confetti are of a rather cosmetic nature: the metal clasps on the straps are gold in color (gold/white? Has to be my least favourite color combo ever) and the white bow in the middle of the boobs tickles and is generally a nuisance. But that was easily solved by cutting the excess bits of ribbon off :)

The bra is beautiful, but not comfortable.

The wires are shorter than the fabric tube (2cm shorter!). So they can be moved either to the arms or to the center. Therefore the outer end of the wire is not at the end of the bra and the pointy end of the wire digs into my side/armpit. Very uncomfortable.

The overall stability of the bra is rather poor.

The edge of the cup digs in slightly.

If it weren't for the underwires, that are a little too high and poke, this would be my new favorite bra. I can still wear it and it is mostly fine, but sometimes the underwires do poke.

That being said, it gives a very nice, rounded, uplifted shape. The cups are open towards the top, but relatively far apart. The band feels supportive and is nice and wide (3 sets of hooks).

I'm really tempted to try and mod this bra to shorten the underwires, because they are the only thing making the bra OK instead of amazing.

I misjudged my size in this one. While I'm usually a 28H/30GG, I had to go up a cup size in the Confetti and would probably be better off in a 28J. I refuse to give up on this bra, though, because it's just beautiful, so I'll write a proper review as soon as I get one which fits me properly :)

  6. This is my first non-moulded cup in many years. Confetti is really pretty (mine's black), very nice embroidery. I'm finding it doesn't itch at all. Because of the detail on the cup it's not much good for fitted tops.

The underwire is quite wide and the bottom third of the cup is definitely shallow. I'm pretty sure the shallow-ness is what creates the lift. Viewing from above it creates a nice round shape.

    Fits

Thanks to the lovely brasihate, I now finally own the gorgeous Confetti! Yay! This is the most beautiful bra I've ever seen. I was really worried it wouldn't fit me, but to my surprise, it fit like a glove! It gives a very nice round shape and perfect lift. The embroidery is so pretty and the fabric is soft. I really can't think of anything that's not good about this bra. I love it!

EDIT: Due to weight gain, this bra no longer fits like it did :( The band is not so bad; still fits comfortably snug but the cups are waaay too small. Would be a much better fit if it were a 30HH or 32H. Not sure if I'm ready to let this bra go since it's one of my favorites and the most beautiful one I own at the moment.

I really had high hopes for this bra, but it fell flat. I had heard this was a good bra for FOT boobs, but I had terrible spillage issues and the seam at the tops of the cups cup into my breasts very deeply. I had, not a quadra-boob, but a sextuple-boob effect! I don't know if the cup was just too small or what. The gore was a bit too wide as well. I prefer the gore on the Marcie or smaller than that. The bra was very well constructed and the appearance was very nice. The straps were slightly padded in the front, which made them very comfortable. And the band was also very comfortable. I appreciated the 3 rows of hooks instead of 2, as well! But, overall, too much spillage and cutting in. Very sad. Will be reselling.

    • Looks like some of the other reviews of this bra here called it shallow - unlike marcie. so that could be part of the problem

    • dbmamaz - Thank you very much for your insight! I will use that when looking for my next bra.

    • The 'database' here is a great tool for bra shopping!

    • dbmamaz Yes, I've been using bratabase for quite awhile now. But lately I've been (repeatedly) hitting a wall. My size is a lot bigger than in the past, so the bras that used to work for me don't. Bigger cup sizes in the UK translate to super wide bras for some reason :(. And the options for full-on-top breasts are super limited anyway! Trying not to get too frustrated lol. I'm going to venture into the Polish world of bras for the first time, which is scary. Hopefully Ewa Michalak or Samanta will have some good fits for me, and I won't lose too much money with the trial-and-error!

    • amocleo , if you need any advice for Comexim I could help you out! I have FOT issues a lot myself and the Marcie is probably one of my best fitting ones. I haven't tried EM or Samanta but I've tried Avocado and Comexim. : )

    • I'm FOT too - Floris has been my best fit. I bought too EM bras but neither was quite perfect - but I do still wear them

    • kerniss - yes and yes! I am interested in comexim and the Marcie is my best bra "shape" fit so far, too. My biggest issue with marcie is that the band kills my sides - it always digs in really painfully after awhile and I've worn that bra when I was slimmer and bigger. Also, I need much narrower wires I believe. What are your tips for comexim?

    • amocleo , what kind of side pain? Like on the ribs maybe? And if you're looking for narrow wires, then YES Polish bras will have that for you! I actually think Cleo tends to be less "wide" than other brands in general but I totally feel you with the wide wire woes. And let's see.... I'm between a 28FF and a 30F right now, but my best Comexim size seems to be a 60HH. The sizing conversion can be really confusing, but I think a 60HH is basically the equivalent for many people of a 28FF. So I would say you may be a 75K, since you're 2 cup sizes up from me! If you have issues with bras biting your armpits, you can get the straps moved in which is an absolute godsend. I do see a few girls have 75J's listed so that could be a good starting point to check it out if you'd like!

    • kerniss The side pain I'm talking about is that is digs into the fat below my armpits pretty badly sometimes, but will be a bit loose in the middle of my back if that makes sense. And thanks for the help with Comexim sizing! I would have been way off. As soon as I get some extra cash I'm going to try them out. I like the Irish Coffee bra the most and your review on it was very helpful.

I have a wide root and shallow boobs. I do need flat cups but not extraordinary wide wires. I almost don't have any volume on top. I usually wear this bra when my boobs are smaller during the first weeks after my mestruation.

The band appears to be true to size, the cups also does. This bra has really wide wires which are about 1,5cm too wide for me. Since it demands more volume on top than I can acutally offer the upper cup wrinkles a litte.
