There are several things about the Confetti which I love - it's small and sheer, optically minimising the boobs and making it an awesome choice for heat waves. I'm also a big fan of the rounded and uplifting shape it gives from the side and it is quite a pretty thing with all the floral embroidery and whatnot.
The straps are only semi-adustable, but still adjusted long enough for me. Also, the bra is sold as ivory, but I'd say it was lighter - I'd call it off-white rather than ivory.
Although the bra fits me very well and when I breathe out, the cups seem even a little larger, ...I got a little quadraboob after wearing the bra all day long and bending up and down a lot (spring cleaning the flat). It's also not a bra to run aroun in (fixed this in the end by stitching the wide center gore together - boobs don't escape anymore). I'm tempted to try a 28J next time I order the Confetti (because I'm definitely getting a black version!) to see how it works out... but as it is, this size fits fine as well.
(EDIT: After wearing it for a few months, the cups stretched and now fit me absolutely perfectly - I was quite surprised! Also, while the underwire poked sometimes in the beginning, this has now also stopped)
Lastly, the only two things I don't like about the Confetti are of a rather cosmetic nature: the metal clasps on the straps are gold in color (gold/white? Has to be my least favourite color combo ever) and the white bow in the middle of the boobs tickles and is generally a nuisance. But that was easily solved by cutting the excess bits of ribbon off Read more 194 more words
The wires are shorter than the fabric tube (2cm shorter!). So they can be moved either to the arms or to the center. Therefore the outer end of the wire is not at the end of the bra and the pointy end of the wire digs into my side/armpit. Very uncomfortable.
I misjudged my size in this one. While I'm usually a 28H/30GG, I had to go up a cup size in the Confetti and would probably be better off in a 28J. I refuse to give up on this bra, though, because it's just beautiful, so I'll write a proper review as soon as I get one which fits me properly
This is my first non-moulded cup in many years. Confetti is really pretty (mine's black), very nice embroidery. I'm finding it doesn't itch at all. Because of the detail on the cup it's not much good for fitted tops.
The underwire is quite wide and the bottom third of the cup is definitely shallow. I'm pretty sure the shallow-ness is what creates the lift. Viewing from above it creates a nice round shape.
I really had high hopes for this bra, but it fell flat. I had heard this was a good bra for FOT boobs, but I had terrible spillage issues and the seam at the tops of the cups cup into my breasts very deeply. I had, not a quadra-boob, but a sextuple-boob effect! I don't know if the cup was just too small or what. The gore was a bit too wide as well. I prefer the gore on the Marcie or smaller than that. The bra was very well constructed and the appearance was very nice. The straps were slightly padded in the front, which made them very comfortable. And the band was also very comfortable. I appreciated the 3 rows of hooks instead of 2, as well! But, overall, too much spillage and cutting in. Very sad. Will be reselling.
I have a wide root and shallow boobs. I do need flat cups but not extraordinary wide wires. I almost don't have any volume on top. I usually wear this bra when my boobs are smaller during the first weeks after my mestruation.
The band appears to be true to size, the cups also does. This bra has really wide wires which are about 1,5cm too wide for me. Since it demands more volume on top than I can acutally offer the upper cup wrinkles a litte.
