I originally purchased a 32FF in this bikini top. It had its fit issues so I tried to see if I could achieve a better fit with a smaller band size. Unfortunately they did not have a 30G. I’m unsure if they just didn’t have it in stock, or if they just don’t make that particular size for this top. None the less, this did not fit. Way too small in the cup and as you can see the back clasp does that annoying twisting thing. At this point I wish we could just vacation someplace with a topless beach so I can be done with this nonsense lol.

Oh my, that's quite the quad boob going on! 😬 Bummer, as it is a very nice looking swim top. Simple yet elegant.

Breakout Bras has several swimsuits available and many are on clearance/sale. Maybe you can find one through them that would work?

    • 2

MamaPagan I’ll check them out! I really wanted a white strapless bikini top. I have a bunch of bottoms that would work well and I had high hopes of getting rid of my dreaded strap tan! It really is a nice top for someone who can work well with a Panache fit. I originally thought I might take the band in on the bigger one, but honestly the cup just rides down. I’m about to go to the fabric store and make a top myself. 😩

Hopefully whatever you choose works perfectly, be it another bikini top or homemade. There are so many fabric choices to choose from!! That could be very exciting. 😍

Am I really the first one to review this top?? Welp ladies, I've done it. I've found a bandeau swim top I can actually wear. I've always liked the bandeau bikini top look, when worn correctly, but it's really hard to pull off. To buy any old Target bandeau, you basically have to possess either no boobs, or boobs of steel that hold themselves up, walk on their own two feet, and answer your phone calls for you while you're busy downing that margarita at the tiki bar. Since I do have boobs, I've never had luck with unstructured bandeaus, although I've ... tried on more than my share.... which gave me a really sad looking, squashed together uniboob shelf. Not a good look for me.

I'm on a roll trying swimwear lately, and I ordered this preppy little polka dotted number because it was on Amazon Prime and why the hell not, I needed a good laugh. I totally expected to return it.... but now I'm apologizing to my bank account for the $38 that is, in fact, not coming back.

It's available in 3 colors but I picked black and white because I'm not very adventurous and it matches everything. Plus, the black and white colorway has this white trim at the top with a cute 2 button detail on the gore and I thought it gave it almost a nautical flair. I should be wearing this on my yacht, paired with fancy boat shoes, but I'm not a millionaire so the lake will have to do.

This is the best swim top I've found yet. In fact, it's better than any strapless bra I've found thus far, so under dark shirts it might pull double duty. It feels really sturdy without being overly padded, and looks and feels like it's very well made - this wasn't thrown together in a hurry. It's a two part cup design with one vertical seam, but the white trim on the black colorway makes it look like a 3 part cup. It's not overly shallow (but it's no Comexim either) and even the wires aren't horrifically wide at 5.5. The depth is only 9" and on paper it shouldn't fit me and in the database it says it doesn't, but somehow I'm not falling out of it and it more than exceeds my low standards for a bikini top. I haven't taken it swimming yet, so I might change my mind, but right now I feel pretty smokin' in this thing. The cups aren't tall - one of the reviews on Amazon mentioned muffin-boob, and I could totally see that happening on FOT or tall-rooted ladies. With my short roots, it works pretty well. Even better - Panache designed the outermost layer of fabric to lay in a way such that it hides all of the wires, so it doesn't look like a strapless bra!

Band is pretty TTS, if not a half inch tight or so - which is really good for me. It comes with detachable straps that can be worn normally or cross back, but they're a little too short for me to wear cross back, and I like the bandeau look better anyays. I have really low set boobies, so I doubt this is a problem for many other women.

Bottom line - most likely fantastic for average width, average projection, FOB and/or short roots. I am narrow rooted, extremely projected, evenly full with short roots and if you're like me, it's still worth a shot.

      Thanks!

    • 2

That's really cute! I've been considering ordering a Comexim bikini, but now I'm wondering how this one behaves in my size (or if it comes in my size...excuse me, off to research!)

    • 1

OMG there's a navy one! Hmmm.

    • 2

I think it's really worth trying, I was surprised there wasn't any other reviews of it on here... but this is a bra site more than a bikini site. Especially if it's got prime shipping and returns, it's affordable enough to take a gamble on IMO.

    • 1

If it's there in the morning, I think I may go for it. No 30F, but I could maybe swing the 30E.

    • Thank you so much for reviewing this bikini top. I have been eyeing it for a while and never found any reviews. I have short roots and am slightly fot, but get along with shallow bras so I think this might work for me.

    • I forgot to ask if you did try swimming in it?

    • 1

I did. I did backflips off the diving board in it. It stayed up just fine. It is too wide & shallow on me, but all bikinis are. I think you'll get along fine with it. It's worth the money!

    • Wow, backflips! I can't do those at all.

    • Former gymnast. It's fun, but I also have hella broad shoulders and overdeveloped back muscles plus a whole host of joint pains. So, I've paid for that ability lol!

Amelia broke my heart this summer! It's one of the prettiest bikinis I've ever seen. I am in love with the pattern and stalked it for weeks before finally ordering it, only to find out that it doesn't fit me well. The cups are tall and shallow and it has a wide gore. I'm projected with short roots and close set. Sadly, it wasn't meant to be. Full review on my blog.

Very vibrant colors! The cups are rather closed on top, so it gives very modest look. If you're FOT - size up the cup! The band was altered, so now it feels good/ But due to my experience with Panache swimwear, choose your normal band size. It usually feels very snug dry, but water makes it forgiving.

This bikini has sat some time in my closet because I don´t know what to do with it. It is a bandeau style bikini with removable straps. The size or cup shape is not 100% compatible with my shape. I´m not really sure what´s wrong but the gore doesn´t tack all the way and if I swoop & scoop, cups seem to cut in at the top. There might also be some orange in a glass going on and maybe the cups are a bit too projected for me? This all being said, when I put the bikini on, it didn´t look as bad as I remembered and it also feels secure when wearing it, even without the straps. So I think I might wear it comfortably.

I also got matching bottoms in UK12. They feel true to size and fit me very well. I usually wear UK12.

This is a very comfortable swimsuit for the most part. It has very good support and the underwire doesn't dig in at all. The cups are unlined, so you don't have to squeeze out a gallon of water from your boobs to dry out. The material is thick enough and the pattern is busy enough to prevent cold nipples from noticeably showing through.
I like it because it's a "modest" choice for when I feel like I need to cover up a little more. Because the neckline covers my cleavage, I know I won't be spilling out of the top.
The sides cut into my underarm a little bit, which gets annoying when I notice it, but it's not unbearable. I could see it causing problems if I did a lot of moving around in it.
It's also kind of a pain to get on and fasten. since it's basically a bra sewn into a tankini top so the clasps are hidden under a layer of fabric.

This is a pretty good bikini top. It fits and supports better than most of my actual bras. I feel confident that I will not fall out of it no matter how big the waves are.
The cups do cut into the top of my breasts a little, but it's not uncomfortable and barely noticeable. I feel more comfortable with a bikini top that gives you a little quad-boob since it feels like it's definitely trying to keep my scandalous nipples hidden.
The underwire does dig into my ribcage a little, so it does get a little uncomfortable after a while, but it's a swimsuit so I won't ... be wearing it all day.
The clasp in the back is not adjustable, so the band size is limited unless you want to alter. Straps are fully adjustable and 0.5in thick. Not great if you're worried about thick-ish tan-lines, but sometimes sacrifices have to be made for support.
The cups are unlined, but they have two layers of fabric; a stretchy mesh on the inside, and regular nylon swimwear material on the outside.

Initially I got this bikini top in 30E but the cups were ridiculously too small and I ordered 2 cup sizes up. It is such a lovely b.top but the cups are a shape mismatch for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I think they are too deep for me, I don´t fill the cups at the bottom and they "collapse".
Other than that I would love the bikini. The band is good and snug, I usually wear 28 bands in bras.

See my review for the 30F. This ran similarly small in the band, wide in the cups. Going up a size just exaggerated the problems I had with the smaller bra, and was a hilariously bad fit for me.

Still, the color is a gorgeous, deep sea green.

Great construction. But as I am pear shaped, this is too small in the stomach area (in addition to it being too tight across the chest - about 1 size/cup too small for comfort)

I have too much upper fullness (and tall roots) for this to fit properly. It would work better for someone who is full on bottom.

The gore came up too high for my preference and was an irritant. But if that was the only issue I could have bent the wires a bit.

A nice basic black tankini. I have worn it a couple times and just don't like the feel of how tight it is across the stomach. It holds the shape quite well and does not stretch much when wet.

Cups are not lined. I didn't like that.

This has an interesting design; it's like a bra sewn in. True to size, could accommodate bigger. Fits my 30G-GG self in the cups/band, I just don't like how it fits the rest of me. Rich, pink-leaning purple more so than the blue-leaning in the promo pics. Feels super high-quality.

Do you need wide and shallow cups? If so, this is a great bikini for you! It's my first experience with Panache bikinis, and I think it is simply too shallow and wide for me. It's a shame, because the bikini itself is VERY lovely, with muted purples, browns, and a lovely watermelon red. It has enough black in the design that a basic black bikini bottom would look great, so it's really not necessary to buy the matching bottoms.

The cups are way too separate for my boobs, and the wires are too wide. The bottom of the underwires don't really sit in the proper place and they smush my boobs back. If I had simply NO other bathing suits, this may be 'acceptable', but I am fortunate enough to have some really well fitting ones, so I must return this!

The material is very comfortable, so I anticipate this being a WONDERFUL bikini for someone who would be compatible with the shape!

this bikini top and the one-piece version have the WORST underwire I have experienced...too low for my boobs and very firm and the center gore is too high so it both sticks out and stabs me.

this really needs to be lightly padded...nipple show through galore

I'm trying the other bikini top thats padded...hope that's better

The bra fit just about perfectly, but the body of the swimsuit was too snug. It is hard to put on. The tankini had a good length on me (5'6" with a long torso). The color are more on the "cool" side of the spectrum: red, lilac, sky blue, navy and yellow. If I could get a bra to fit me as well as the swimsuit bra, I would be very happy!
