I'm around 5'1-2 and have a short torso but find the straps adjust enough for me so it should be no problem for taller people/with longer torsos. I love how firm this band is. My only issue with this is that i quadboob quite a lot. 28FF doesn't fit me [recent breast shape change/growth] but maybe G or GG would.

This fis really well and gives amazing cleavage. The straps tighten short enough, but only just as I have them as tight as they will go.

This is a stunning bra and the wider underwires suit my shape so much better than the Freya Deco. It's smooth enough to wear as a t-shirt bra, gives great lift and rounded shape. The band is VERY snug, more for a 26 back than a 28 back.

I quickly migrated myself out of this size. I now own two of these in 28G.

This bra is solid and supportive. I don't like the rounded, squished profile.

I think I'm wearing this in a cup size too small, but I think there would be too much gaping in a cup size larger. I have slightly shallow and I think slightly FOB breasts. This bra is one of the best fitting bras I own.

When i stand straight, I have a pretty nice outline, and when I put my shoulders back, some slight quadboob, but if I put my shoulders forward, some slight gaping. Overall, the fit looks pretty nice.

The quality is pretty nice too. It doesn't seem to have a lot of stretch. The material is satiny with the lace detail on top of ... the moulded cup (not a separate section of lace). This material may show up through a tight-fitting shirt, but isn't too noticeable. It's a very elegant looking bra. The straps are kind of wide. The gore is quite comfortable! With the bandeau-type fit (the cups are attached to the same piece of fabric across the entire front instead of just at the gore) the support is outstanding!

Overall, its a pretty good quality and well fitting bra.

Very pretty bra, and it could be comfortable for the right person. Good support, but cups were too wide for me. There was a lot of empty space in the bottom and outer edges. There was a little bit of empty space at the top whenever I moved around. The bra is beautiful but does not suit my shape.

I first sought this bra for the unrivaled shape, and indeed the shape is very beautiful for full on tops and perhaps shallow breasts too. The band is firm - excellent! And, although this is my favorite bra at the moment and even my best fitting bra, I really dislike it.

    1. The lace is very thick and can show through shirts. Nothing a cami can't handle, but I'm tired of wearing camis!!
    2. The material is a nice satin, but I wish I had more stretch.
    3. I am very close set and my breasts project forward. I feel like this bra squashes my boobs into my chest and a bit out to the sides. Furthermore, the wires are too wide and there's a ton of empty space under my armpit. Perhaps my breasts are very, very close together??
    4. I think the straps are too far apart and they aren't stretchy. What a bother!

This really is my first Masquerade purchase and although the brand makes beautiful quality bras, I don't think we're compatible.

Wow, this bra is tiny. If I knew someone who was a 24 band, I'd give them this one to try. It might be more comfortable for them. I'm usually a 28 band, though I can wear a 26, and this is ridiculously small in the band. It's nearly impossible to close. Not only is the band short, but it seems to have very little stretch. In addition, it seems to be small in the cup, at least one full size if not two.

  10. Delphi Basque (6417)

I usually wear a 30F in Panache because their bands are firm, but I bought this in a 28FF, the last size available at breakoutbras.com. The price was terrific, and I liked the subtle Graphite-Black coloring. A few months ago I tried on a black 28F Panache Confetti basque. It fit well except for quadboobing. Unfortunately a 28FF Panache Confetti basque wasn't available anywhere. Last week, when I saw this on sale, I gambled the 28FF Masquerade/Harlequin Delphi basque would work. The tags and labels say Harlequin, not Masquerade. The product number is 6417, which matches Bratabase's Masquerade. The appearance matches that of Bratabase's photo, except ... it's Graphite-Black instead of Black/Ivory.

The Delphi's fit is good, and I rated it as such, but I'd prefer the underwires to go up further under my arms. There is a bit more bulging there than I'd like. It's not obvious unless I raise my arms. I'm glad the 30F wasn't available, as the 28FF hugs my body the right amount. I find 28 bands in Panache too tight, but because the basque's compression is spread over a large area, it feels more comfortable than that of my bra bands. More of my body is being squeezed, but there's no digging in feeling at all.

I was alone when I tried on the basque. It took ten minutes to do up all 14 hooks, but I'll get faster with practice. I prefer to hook my bras in the back because it's easier on the bras and challenges my shoulder strength and flexibility. Unless I get a lot thinner, hooking this in front, even partially, and twisting it around to the back will be nearly impossible. Plus I'm worried about pulling out some hooks and eyes if I do that.

The midriff area is not tight enough to do any real shaping, but it will maintain a smooth, firm line under clothes. I'd liken the compression to that of a seamed, stretch shaping garment without boning. The silhouette is more natural looking than a waist cincher.

The Delphi's cups form a more horizontal line than the Confetti's. It's been months since I saw the Confetti, though, and I only tried it on for a few minutes, so I could be wrong.

I have slim hips, but I imagine this would flex easily to accommodate a curvier bottom half. I'm short and don't have a long torso, but as I sat wearing this for a few hours, I felt perfectly comfortable. We'll see if I feel as comfortable in it when I'm doing work in front of a computer instead of surfing bra blogs. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Edited to add one day later: I just tried the Delphi Basque on again. This time it only took five minutes to do up all the hooks. Yesterday I thought I couldn't wear this as outerwear because the extra rows of hooks and eyes show in the back. They will continue to do so until the thing loosens up enough to go to the third row. But if I wear a jacket open and wear a skirt or trousers over the basque, it'll work.

    Fits

I loved this when I first bought it. It was the best fit I had come across (i find it impossible to find something that really fits) and was really firm in the back and supportive. Lately it has been annoying me a bit thought, not sure if my size/shape has changed a bit, or possibly it is just that the bra is now getting a bit older and might have stretched a bit. The centre is quite high, so if you have close together breasts this could be a bit of a poblem, but the shape is good and the fabric is really strong and supportive. I think it is very pretty - although not quite sure, it is a bit of an aquired look.

Also, I find whilst he straps are ok if I have them as tight as they go, I find the clasp slides down, and they won't stay as tight as I need. I think I will sew them in place, which should help.

This is a nice looking orange-red bra with lace on cups and satin lining on top.

Tha band is quite true to size, 28 is okay for me although I wouldn´t mind it being even tighter. I can fasten it to the middle hooks right away. The wires are wide enough for me, maybe even too wide. I fill the cups okay at the bottom, but there is gapping on top of cups. When I swoop and scoop at first it seemed like I filled the cups completely, but after some movement it is obvious that the cups are gapping, they are a little too big.

The straps are partly satin which doesn´t stretch. They are quite far apart and I´m afraid they would fall off if I wore this bra long enough. I´m not going to, since I´ll return this.

I am a fan of this brand so I was hoping it would work for me. The band was too tight. I couldn't fasten it and I measure 28 underbust. I guess it would work for someone with a smaller ribcage. Even with an extender it did not fit. The cups seem too deep for my breasts and they pucker at the very tip. I think this would work for someone with fuller, rounder breasts rather than shallow breasts.

Overall it is a pretty bra. Mine is deep red with black lace and polka dots. The straps adjust half way and there are 2 columns of hooks. It has vertical seems for an uplifted look.

This is the most lovely bra! The material is sooo soft and silky, and the lace is simply beautiful. I really bought it based on how it looks, but it also fits like a dream! The color is a pale purple, very delicate, with cream lace. I am seriously in love with this bra!

This is the first masquerade/panache bra I've ever had that fit me so beautifully. The band is a bit stretchier than I'd like, but I measure below 28" underbust, so there's not much I can do outside of alterations.

This is such a pretty bra that I just had to get it in 28FF, because in 30E the cups are tiny bit too small and the band was too big.

At first I thought I finally found a bra that has cups the right size, but no... The line is smooth up there, but after a while I found out that there is wrinkling at the bottom of cups. I think I have this "orange in a glass" effect there. It doesn´t help if I try to adjust the bra more "up" on my chest. The wrinkling is way worse on the left side, and my left boob ... is bigger than the right one! So it seems that the cups are too shallow for me at the bottom.
Another problem as well, the straps are too wide apart for me.

Other than that it´s okay, band is just right and the bra feels quite comfortable on. The wires are wide enough, too. Too bad the fit is just not good for me.

In 30E I didn´t notice the wrinkling of the left cup at all. Now that I rechecked, there is some, but very little. The issue in 30E (besides the band) is that there is quadboobing.

This style is just not going to work for me. I also tried the 28G and this fits quite similar, maybe worse. I get a fold in the bottom of the cup and space at the top all while the center gore won't lay flat and the outside wire lays on breast tissue because it's too small...the shape is all wrong. Too bad...it's gorgeous! I would say it runs true to size but the band has very little stretch.

This bra fits okay, but it's not perfect. The band is too big for me and rides up a bit, but I can't go any smaller as it's already a 28.The cups are also too far apart for my boobs since they are wide set and bottom heavy. The cup goes too high at the top and gives me a very slight gaping, but I think a size smaller would be have been too small for me. It even seems too small sometimes and cuts in. Overall, it's not horrible but I just don't think it's the right shape for me.

This bra is sooooo pretty! I just need to matching panties now https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The band on this bra is VERY TINY!!! I should be wearing a 26 band and this bra fits perfectly. Better than any other one I've tried on so far! I'd reccomend going a band size up cause it doesn't stretch!

This is a cute bra but sadly it doesn't fit me well, the center gore lifts quite a bit. The band feels nice around my 26.5" rib cage and the underwire is quite firm. I'm kind of sad that this doesn't fit, I received it in a bra grab bag and while it is a cute bra it probably isn't one that I would have bought off the rack in a proper fit.
