    Didn't fit

So I've tried this bra before but in 70GG and it seemed to run very small in the cup and was about 2 cups too small for me. This is three cups larger than that and I will say it maybe would have fit better in 70HH but a little more room in the cup in a lounge bra is no big deal.

70I is much better, although I find I don't quite fill out the cups, *but* everything I wrote in my other review still stands.

The middle part does a wonderful job of separating, and the bra is extremely comfy. Now I will say I get the typical ... wireless soft bra look in this size. Pointy, bullety, etc.
However, with a shirt on it is actually not so bad--my guess is it would be if it was form fitting, but all my shirts are baggy kind of so I have no such issues.

The cups are supportive enough that it keeps my breasts lifted, though it's nothing spectacular.

For a wireless, soft bra this is a great one. There is no skin on skin contact which is my main issue with wireless bras, the boobs sort of just fold inside it and it's as if I'm not wearing one, but not in this one.

And you know, I'm actually extremely impressed with the quality of this bra. It is sturdy, the materials are soft but they HOLD and the lace doesn't feel cheap at all. The bra feels expensive even if it wasn't really (I think I paid about $50ish for it).

*** As a side note I have to say that I was very impressed with the service from the seller (Magda from bras4you.com) as she made sure I get the size I want even if my return package was very very VERY late. Highly recommend.

I thought their cups were just in a different sizing range. I also liked the way pointier bras looked under baggy clothes (esp winter clothes)

    • My size was 32FF when I bought first one in 32GG so I already sized up 2 cups, but I guess not enough

    • 1

I really love this bra but it’s not in my size. I think I would like to make one like it though.

    • 1

If you need very detailed photos of the construction I am more than willing to send. The middle part for separation is actually genius. I don't have any Royce bras but I feel like I read some had this too? Not sure...

    • 3

It looks great on you brasaremean. And it looks comfortable not just supportive!

I too wish they would make it in my size, especially since they do make up to an 28:21 (60O for them) and to a P cup in the larger bands (:22 tier.) Even with it running small in the cup, I have a few tiers wiggle room with that range.

Glad this one worked out better for you, and I agree 100% MagdaBras4you is spectacular with customer service!! :-)

    • 1

Write them an email! I'll e-mail them too lol!

Or, we could have cupandahalf start a business making these bras :D I know I'd buy... oh...about one for each day I'm at home.

    • 1

Last time I asked about one out of range I was told no. They currently only offer one bra available in my range and to the 28:21, Betty in White. Even Betty in Purple wasn't offered to my range. Just because they can do them doesn't mean they will unfortunately! Yet some is better than none. :-)

    • 1

Bummer :( maybe one day they will come to their senses

    • 1

I believe they used to supply more models in the larger cups, but lower sales resulted in lower production. They are not a made to order brand, so it is logical.

    • 1

brasaremean I'm glad you received the parcel. I think the bra looks good on you. I'm sorry that you have other feelings.

Not my first Brilliant by any means, but now that my size has drastically changed, I’m back to square 1 trying to find a good fit.

The 70I was a crapshoot guess on my behalf trying to figure out what size Kris Line bra I would fit into now that I’m like a 32GG/H. I was pretty close, but I think the 70I might be slightly too large. I’m worried a 32HH would be too small. This bra is discontinued, so I won’t really have a chance to try it in other sizes as easily.

The gore is taller on the Brilliant than on the Fortuna, and this ... ends up being a problem for me as well. It’s too tal and tilts slightly forward but also twists sideways. I never had been able to get a good fit in this bra after trying like 4 different sizes, so I don’t know why I tried it again. I probably should have just gotten the Fortuna and called it a day. Oh well! The good news is, it’s a close enough fit that I think I could pull it off temporarily until I find something better. I did get this on clearance, so I don’t think I’ll be able to return it.

Overall, Kris Line still appears to be a contender for me for best fitting bras, but I’m still figuring out what size I need.

    • I don't know if it helps at all, but I measure 32GG UK and 70HH in Kris Line was a perfect fit for me; that was just in their bikini though (not normal bra).

But perhaps we have different shapes.

It looks like there's some gaping at the top, but yeah, I could see 70HH may be too small?

    • 1

BraOdyssey , it’s worth a try if I can! The site I got the Brilliant from doesn’t have a 70HH, so I may swap for a Fortuna. The gore fit me better on the Fortuna previously anyway.

Another Zulily fail, but at least this time the size was actually correct. As you can see from the pictures, the label is really confusing. They have these sizes listed:
    EU: 70i
    NL/A/CH: nothing?
    B/F: 85I
UK: 32 (??? no cup size I guess?)
And Zulily has this listed as a US 32M, which is crazy. (on the barcode label it says 32 months, which made me laugh)
Anyways, this didn't fit me, but only because the cups were too large. So I'm narrowing down my Kris Line size! I think a 70H might do it, but I'm not going to risk buying ANOTHER bikini, especially since I have my Ewa Michalak orange sherbet ... set coming.
    So, on to the details:
This is a really stretchy band, and the cups are REALLY stretchy and deep. I measured the cup depth over my knee stretching as far as it would go without distortion, so it can accommodate a variety of cup sizes. A 32GG-34GG should easily fit in this.
The bikini itself is very cute. It has a bright tropical print on the cups, with the upper section in black, as well as the band and the straps. The gore has a black bow with gold tips. Inside the cups, there's a layer of thin, stretchy mesh. It's a 3 part construction, so provides lots of projection. (Too much, in my case)

This is another new favorite (thank you Mandapandarawks for sending it to me!). It's a beautiful bra and they put extra effort into the detailing. It's a padded half cup with a flowered pattern. The top edge of the lace matches the color of the lower cup. There's also pretty detailing on the straps. For a padded cup, it has a lot of depth at the wire. The top lace has a strip of elastic to make it more accommodating for all shapes. The band is extra stretchy, to the point of sizing down, but I don't mind a little looser of a band. Also, I love the low, narrow gore!

This bra reminds me of how my Fauve Mia used to fit! I cannot stress enough on how much I love low underwires. It's one of my pet peeves to try on a beautiful bra that fits perfect but the underwires and cups are digging into your armpits. This bra is so well constructed and fits comfortably. Overall pretty bra and perfect cups.

    Marcella 70I

Adding bra in for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database. ☺

I had been on the hunt for Marcella since I first discovered Kris Line bras. It was a beautiful light purple semi padded bra, and I had to have it. Since it was last year’s model, I was having trouble finding it in a size that fit and even Madga at Tomahuka could find it for me in a 65K, and she’s been great at finding all things Polish for me. The closest she could find was 70I, which I knew would be too ... small in the cup. With the style being discontinued by Kris Line, I thought I’d be out of luck. I then found it on BraStop in a 32J. I eagerly ordered and I was so excited. Much to my dismay, it arrived in 70I. I quickly realized (having never shopped at BraStop before) that they list the general conversion size and NOT the actual manufacturer’s size. Disappointed and greatly frustrated, I was mad but understand they are just trying to make buying easier on their customers who may otherwise be unaware of the sizing differences between brands and standard UK sizing. I only wish they’d have the courtesy to list the actual tag size as well as their assumed estimated conversion which is not correct for many bras. Personally, I don’t care what any store “thinks” a size converts to; I care what the manufacture says it is. I’ve done enough research to know my size and how a bra fits, and get terribly frustrated when I order based on that only to have a completely different size show up, nor do I want to have to convert my treasured brands into standard UK sizing just so I can insure I get the size I intend. I will stick with buy from Tomahuka, it’s so much easier. (Sorry for the rant, but felt it necessary. I know many of you feel my pain with this one.)

I found Marcella to not be as pretty in person as it appears in the pictures. Don’t get me wrong, it is still pretty, but not quite what I expected. The bottom of the cups are a smooth nylon in lavender with a black lace print on them, over a light foam lining. The tops of the cups are black lace. The lace is also scratchy, which is unappealing.

The band measures 27” to a max stretch of 35” with the 4 rows of eyes. It has 3 sets of hooks as well.

Cup depth was 12.5” as measured by hovering the cup between the knees and placing the tape measure into the cup without any resistance, to a max of 14” stretched over the knee.

For Kris Line bras, I recommend Bras4you.com (same as Tomahuka on eBay mentioned in review.) Magda offers a wide selection and excellent customer service. If she doesn’t have what you’re looking for, and she can get it, she will. I have gotten most of the Kris Line bras I’ve tried from her, and have never been disappointed in her service.

Looking at the pictures, this bra fits me better than most of the bras I own, but there were too many fit issues on hand (well, boob)
I had a strange cup situation where it cut in slightly on the top but at the same time I couldn't fill the deepest part of the cup o.O
The gore was floating and the band riding up (it was a true 32, even though I heard it ran snug), so it was a no.
Really sad though, because I *love* the shape this bra gives ( very uplifted, front and center) and the subtle but sexy details. The wires on this are *perfect* for me. The bra is also very comfortable and I will explore the brand further because I think it may be *the brand* for me.
Highly recommend to every narrow rooted woman!

My shape: full on bottom, soft tissue, narrow shoulders/roots.
(Special thanks to MamaPagan for sending me this to try out!)
Appearance: This bra is really gorgeous. It's a padded 3-part cup (one vertical seam in the middle, one horizontal across the top) made of silky, mauve/purpley fabric. There are delicate black and white flower designs on the fabric. The top, lace part of the cup is rather stiff, and there is a little crystal charm at the gore.
Fit: I can't really comment on the fit personally, as it's too large for me. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

The straps are convertible, which is awesome! The cups also get slightly closer together a few centimeters out from the band -- great for breasts that want to have no space between them whatsoever (aka mine). There is boning in the wing, about 2 cm back from the underwire. Amazing lift, like it actually kept my breasts high enough to hit the bust darts in clothes and basically defies gravity. Size seems comparable to a Freya Deco Moulded Plunge Bra (4234) in 30:10; this bra offers more projection and narrower wires. Band did stretch out after a couple wears, but not enough to change the fit. The seams may show under thin shirts, depending on the fabric's color.
Does it fit me? Nope. The cups are too small for me, and I need a teeny tiny bit more immediate projection. Do I wear it anyway? Heck yes! It's hands down the most comfortable bra I own. If the cups were larger and deeper, this bra would be literally perfect.

This is my first try with Kris Line, and I must say I'm quite impressed despite the bra having been at least one cup size too small. This is a true plunge bra with a really impressive boosting cut - at H+ cup. Nice. The center gore is seriously low and the straps quite narrow (perhaps even too much so...). The band is sturdy with minimal yield, although I would have preferred three hooks in a row. The material is incredibly soft and the bra is finely made. The only con I can come up with is that the cups seem to be on the smaller side of the scale, this bra being more of a 32:12 than 32:13. But, looks like I'm going to have to hunt for a 70J in their Deco Plunge style. Kris Line, you may have gotten yourself a new acolyte.

This is from my shopping trip to Poland! Feel free to send me a message if you want any more info on that. For reference, I believe that I had short, narrow roots with a very projected, omega shape. My best Cleo fit is the Meg then Marcie/Melissa.

This soft Kris Line would make a good every day bra I think. The wires seem a bit wide on the sides, but thankfully not too high under the armpit. The band is on the comfortable side of firm. Love the materials used, seems very well made and durable. The projection is pretty decent but the amount of lift leaves something ... to be desired. Because of the half-embroidered straps, I can't fully adjust them and I think that would help heave everything up more. The shape is more on the natural/tear-drop side and honestly maybe even a bit minimizing, but it may just be because of the lack of lifting going on. A bit separated/ east-west-ish.

There is a strip of elastic under the top embroidery that might not be friendly to people with tall roots/upper fullness, it is even almost too closed on top for me on my right side. A good tack on the gore, which seems fairly short.

The yellow color w/ the grey lace is gorgeous. I'm between a 30/32 UK band and I need to wear this bra on at least the second tightest or tightest hook to get a proper fit which isn't good for longevity, so I might try a sister size in the 65 band for my next Kris Line. This is my first try with Polish bras and I'm hooked.

    Gorgeous lemon creme yellow!
Runs a bit small in the band compared to other UK 32's but nowhere as ridiculous/unwearable as the 32J Diamond Semi Soft. MUST find in a 32K/L or 34J/K.
The I cup is comparable to a FF ish in this band.
Only 2 hooks per column but 4 rows, which is nice for longevity.
Materials are just lovely, particularly the grey lace with yellow embroidery along the band and front of the straps. The satin may be the kind that snags easily but I like it so much that I would wear it anyway.
The gore is extremely low, as are the wings.
The straps are convertible at the back. I don't know if I would/could use that, but it's nice to know it was at least considered. Also, they didn't pop off when I tried it on - a good sign!
