  1. Kiara Black Half Cup Soft (FW19-05-L-1000)

I’ve reviewed this bra already more in depth here: 70HH - Kris Line » Kiara Black Half Cup Soft (FW19-05-L-1000).

I’m so glad that I gave the 65I size a try! Every fit issue I had with the 70HH is totally better. The band is nice and snug on the first set of hooks, the cups are sprung back enough where they aren’t sitting on tissue, and the cups are filled across the top and not gappy. I noticed that compared to the 65I - Kris Line » Selena Half Cup Soft (FW21-F08-L1000-BY), the gore and cup style fit much better on this bra. ... The gore is tall, but still tacks for me (which is amazing because I’m super center-full and usually tall gores sit on tissue). The gore on the Selena is too short, and my boobs escape out the middle. That is not a problem with the Kiara. Also, because the gore is higher, the cups themselves are more horizontal across the top instead of being angled down like the Selena (due to the shorter gore). Overall, a way better fit than the last size I tried in this bra. I’m so happy! I also purchased the Brazilian high waisted panties to go with this as a set because I just love it so much.

I am not a huge fan of how this bra makes my boobs look! They look so droopy and sad. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

This is my 3rd Kris Line half cup bra. I really like the styles of the half cups, but I’m having a rough time trying to find the right fit. The 70HH - Kris Line » Kiara Black Half Cup Soft (FW19-05-L-1000) has a band that’s too stretchy, the 70H - Kris Line » Selena Half Cup Soft (FW21-F08-L1000-BY) also has a way too stretchy band and the cups are too small, so I tried this 65I Jassmin ... hoping it would be a good fit in the band and cups, but unfortunately the band is too tight and the cups are too big/wrinkly! The band pulls the cups too far back which warps the side boning, which tells me this is an obvious size fail. I’m considering repurchasing the Kiara and Selena both in 65I to see if they’re better since the band is the only problem with those. I have to wear both on the tightest hooks…

To further elaborate on the Jassmin, I’m also disappointed in the overall look of the bra on me. The stock images make this bra look so pretty, but in person it looks (and feels) kind of cheap? I have a feeling that it’s an older style and maybe that’s why the fit/cut/material is “off.” I thought it would be so much prettier, but I just really don’t like it. I will say, it did compress me very well and gave a rounded, full shape under clothes. Minimal jiggling! Unfortunately, the wire on the left side rests on tissue, but weirdly enough I didn’t notice until I took the bra off. I honestly didn’t feel uncomfortable or anything from it all day.

Pictures are after wearing it all day at work. If you look closely at the back picture, you can see a spot where my skin is red/irritated by where the hooks connect. The material on the band is sharp/scratchy on the top and bottom corners, which was irritating my back alllll day. I couldn’t quit trying to pick at it/pull it away to get relief all day.

    • I was concidering ordering this for ages but based on this I don't think I will, like you say it is an older style so I was also worried it wouldn't fit like the Selena that I have, and love! I also had this feeling like it probably looks cuter in photos :/ So sad it didn't work out for you! but hey at least it helped me :D I have been eyeing the "paloma half cup" aswell I think that might work better tbh

    • I love the fabric on this, I think it's so pretty!! gorgeous bra!

alidieux it definitely is different in pictures than in person! Even looking at the stock images again, the vertical seams are a different color here than in the stock image. I think just that difference alone changes the appearance quite a bit! The pictures were my “after wearing a whole day” but it looks better when it’s first on and under my clothes it gives a nice rounded shape. Just not what I expected! Also, I’ve been eyeballing the Paloma as well - it’s on my wishlist on Jagna lol.

BraOdyssey yes it’s super pretty, just not quite the same as the stock image which is way prettier!

Me: Narrow roots, narrow shoulders, evenly round, lots of immediate projection, very soft tissue, slightly FoB, slightly centre full, splayed, never met a gore I didn't like, left-heavey by more than a cup size, 31" underbust, but prefer tight band with extender. Panache, Freya size 30GG

Nicely narrow and projected. Said to equate to a UK 30H, but if feels more like the 30HH and it is at least a cup size too big, but I think if I cupped down, it wouldn't have enough immediate projection. I may have enough room on the top edge for a dart. It has a thick elastic ... top edge and would definitely dig on FoT!

Wings are a little short for my preference, but nicely boned. Three hooks, four rows. Thick, scalloped straps. The straps have embroidery for the first fifteen cm, but I think it would be easily removed. Split band sewn at the centre gore. No-stretch mesh cups lined on the bottom and satin-like frame, but stretch fabric like Empreinte on back of band.

I will have to play with the fit, but I don't think it will work

Edit: I took some of the appex projection out at the diagonal seam and it seems to work better. Still didn't suit. I removed the alteration

I’ve done a review on this bra already here: 70H - Kris Line » Selena Half Cup Soft (FW21-F08-L1000-BY).

I will say, the difference in band/cup size does help. The band is not so long and stretchy and the cups are larger. My main issue with this bra is the cut/style of the cups and the gore height. Compared to my 65I - Kris Line » Kiara Black Half Cup Soft (FW19-05-L-1000), the gore is significantly shorter and the cups are more angled downward and not horizontal across the top. These items make a world of difference with how the bra fits me with the Kiara being a much better fit. Do I still love this bra? Yes. Will I still wear it as part of my normal rotation? Yes. I’m extra ‘fluffy’ right now because that’s where I am in my cycle, so there’s a chance this bra might fit better in like a week. Either way, very nice bra, and I’m glad I gave it a try in a better size for me!

I was wearing 70J in Kris Line but experiencing gapping in the cups and lost weight so needed a 65 band, I own a bikini from Kris Line in 70HH where the cups fit perfectly, so I was trying to figure out a size for the bra in a 65 band, thinking about sister sizes, a 65I would be the same as a 70HH conventionally, however because of Kris Line's sizing system it's closer to 65J or even 65JJ. I struggle with most type of balconette bras because I need a lot of projection but I have such soft tissue that I never fill out the top of ... the bras with projection, but this is a half cup bra, so in hindsight I sized down too far because of my experience with the emptiness up top, so now instead I ended up with a bra that's a bit too small hehe.

Anyways on to the actual bra.

It is as mentioned a half cup style, and this is the first bra I've tried that actually "feels" like a half cup, if I didn't have such soft tissue this bra would give insane cakes on a plate cleavage!

It has 2 seams running vertically on the cup, with a tiny mesh edge lined with leopard fabric at the top of the cup. The cups are double lined with lace on the outside, and mesh on the inside, except the top line. On the inside it also has a third lining of mesh on the outermost part of the cup. The mesh is kinda scratchy to the touch but wearing it I didn't notice it. The wings are lined with a softer, stretchy mesh.

The straps are fully adjustable and decent length.

The shape the cups give is very rounded which is awesome. This is the most round bra I own hehe. As I wrote in my review of the Nessa Lea (http://bra.pe/X7bo/) I also quad significantly in this bra on my right boob, but since my boobs like to change weekly I believe this will fit better on the small boob days aswell, so despite that I will keep this bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    • I like Kris Line, too.

that's so funny, I thought you were pretty_promise (I didn't look at your username at first) because you guys both have the same skin tone, and wear similar brands and sizes.

I'm 70HH in Kris line, I just used their size chart & ordered online (without trying on any of their bras first) and it was the correct size for me, luckily. I used their "UK size to Kris Line sizes" chart.

When I first got into proper bra sizing, I took my measurements every other day, and I was surprised at how much my measurements changed every other day, due to food or hormones: my bra size is constantly in flux, lol.

    • 1

omg that's so funny I just looked at her reviews and you're right, the photos are so similar hahah.

Ahh yes I was confused about their UK size chart because it says 70HH (KL) = 32GG UK, I am more 30HH UK Size. My cleo bras fit me in 30HH. I tried some 32GG UK bras and they were insanely small on me.

Also the UK chart convertion thing skips DD (KL), and H (KL). But KL sells DD and H bras, so I just gave up on using that. I tried to look at the chart for measurements instead, but I think I went too small by only using my standing (not accounting for any leaning, which I have a lot of).

Also I just tried this bra with an extender, just extending 1 row extra solved the intense quadding :) Win!

The bra looks really beautiful, and the colour makes my skin look porcelain which I strongly appreciate, and it gives awesome shape and cleavage, but unfortunately I've bought it without knowing that Kris Line bras have only 2cm difference between cup sizes, so I need 65JJ in order to get a good fit for my 30HH boobs. I wish I knew that before to be able to buy better size for me. The cups are also a bit too closed on top, but as I am short-rooted, it'd be not a problem in the correct size. What I want specially admit in this bra is the amount of ... immediate projection. It was enough for even despite the fact the cups were 2 sizes too small! If you're looking for something with lots of immediate projection - try this bra, you won't be disappointed.
I also have to note that the fabric feels somewhat weak in this bra. It's awesomely pretty, but its gentle touch makes it weaker, so the band may stretch out quickly because the fabric isn't strengten in any way here.

I ordered this on eBay and it was definitely not what I was expecting. I guess you could say this is a special occasion bra. It's clearly too small and I can't imagine wearing it unless I needed it.

For reference, Brastop sold this to me as a 30J (as per the tags, this is a 65I).

This bra is too big - it's the larger of the two half-padded bras I ordered trying to work out my best KL size, and this is not it. It is a beautifully constructed bra, and despite being obviously too big, it's mostly still pretty comfy. It runs a little high and wide under my arms, but I'm high on chest and short-rooted. Obviously, I can't fill it, either. The pattern is higher-contrast in person than in any of the photos I've seen (I'll try to get ... a better shot before I send it back), and I'm not sure I actually like it. The unpadded top section is actually two slightly different kinds of lace, overlapped on a mesh lining (the lower lace edge is matte and fairly soft, the upper lace which forms the cup edge is a bit scratchy, brighter, and metallic).

This will absolutely not work if you are full on top or tall-rooted - the apex is pretty high and even on me, it cuts in slightly at the top edge.

This bra is too small for me and this may cloud my review, however I was expecting Krisline to be good for my even top to bottom but centre full boobs with narrow root, but actually, I don't feel its any better than my Cleo Marcie was. The gore on Marcie was narrower (and taller to support the centre fullness), the wires are very similar width and the lace on Marcie was more accommodating across the top. I also preferred the Marcie lift - although the lift of this is better than my Bravissimo balconettes. I was a 34GG/32H and think I am now a 32GG/30H generally. This bra was paper labelled as 30J and I also tried the 30JJ both of which were too small with a non tacking gore (how uncomfortable that is now I haven't had one for years) and an elastic seam at the top causing quadboob
