Straps are really thin, and completely removable Sides of cup come up high, so this my not be best for those with short roots. Bottom is shallow, so this may not work for FOB Removable pads are thicker than Ewa's, but thinner than Impimi Something on the band is scratching my back a bit
I really love how this bra looks and I would like the feel if it were the proper size. It's both sexy and secure. I purchased this style in the zulily sale and after reading the few reviews I could find, thought it ran large in both the cup and the band; not the case for me. I'm generally a 38DD or 40DD, depending on the brand (usually Natori or Fantasie). I bought the 38D in this style and the band is tight, and as you can see from the pictures, I've got some spillage.
This is my first experience with a Kinga bra. It has been comfortable enough to wear, but I would have felt more secure if it included more hooks. It has an unusual scoop from the wire in the armpit to the strap which leaves part of my breast hanging out, although not uncomfortably or visibly so. This also means that the strap floats a little where it attaches to the cup, it doesn't touch my body until it gets to my shoulder. The shape it gives is round, somewhat minimized, and relatively rounded.
I'm often on the lookout for bras which are more gender-neutral in appearance. This bra is relatively neutral in this regard, although it does have black lace along the top of the cup. The bottom of the cup is a silvery-grey colour with black dots, and the gore has buttons instead of a bow.
This is a fantastic bra! It's half-padded, meaning there is a light foam padding that comes up to the center seam, with sheer lace going up the rest of the way. It's very full coverage, but I don't mind as it makes me feel very secure. There is a *ton* of projection in this bra. I've never had a padded bra fit so well - even compared to my darling Ewa bras. The wire is exactly where it should be, the gore tracks, nothing is rubbing or chafing. I am looking forward to trying other kinga styles.
My one and only complaint is that it's a bit creaky. But it's not really noticeable to anyone but me, unless I'm making a point of displaying the weird creaky sound (my husband was the guinea pig in that experiment).
For reference, this bra runs about a cup size too large, so if you're going for it, size down.
Hi , I will be importing Kinga starting March/April next year. I will be offering a flat shipping US/Canada free returns to alleviate the concerns of choosing the wrong size. Their cup sizing runs smaller compared to another Polish Brand Ava Regards, Jooli
polkadotbra I've never tried Ava to compare, but I would not say Kinga runs small - at least not the half padded styles. The reviews I read before ordering all indicated that it would run a cup size large, leading me to order down in size (a decision which worked out). I mentioned this in my original review.
I normally wear 34G or 75G in Polish Brands, I tried their BC-343 Michelle in 75G and the cups fit reasonably well, band nice tight, however the gore noes not lie flat.
Eee, it fits! Hooray! The band is a little stretchy and I have it hooked on the middle hook already, but no other complaints. The lace section is comfortable -- it's mesh lined, and the whole thing is very supportive and comfortable. And it's beautiful. It gives my breasts a shape I rather like - a sort-of forward-pointed oval.
I took a chance on this one and am absolutely gutted that it doesn't fit. It does indeed run large in the cups, with a deeper apex than I'm used to seeing on plunges, and the gapping at the lace is just too much for me to want to keep it. It wrinkles where it connects to the padded cup and is definitely visible under shirts when it gaps. The cups are also a bit too tall for my shape, and the wires a tad too wide. Seems to be more like a UK 32F, perhaps more suited to a FOT shape. Projection is still good, though.
Success! This one fits much, much better than the 70F I tried, though the band is very stretchy for a 65 - I had to move it to the next set of hooks after a few hours, and honestly it's even better on the tightest hooks. I may just shorten the band by a tad, because the rest is as perfect a fit as I think I'll get in this bra. The wires are so wonderfully narrow - only 5"/12.7cm! They don't hurt at all, so I guess that confirms it for me; I need the narrowest wires out there. This is the one of the only bras ...that hasn't poked me in the underarm so far, so the height of the wires is good, too. The straps are a bit wide, but nothing too uncomfortable.
The lace section still isn't quite a perfect fit, but I think it's just asking for more FOT-ness than I have, and it doesn't show under most of my clothes, so I'm happy enough with it. I can fill the apex this time, at least.
Projection seems good; it didn't ride down with a day's wear. The shape is a more naturally pointy look, good for everyday wear IMO.
The music pattern is just the best. I could do without the bows on the straps, but the dangly ornament on the gore doesn't bother me. It has a ringed sparkly bead wrapped around a black teardrop, with a bow tying it all together. Nice and understated, though, and it doesn't touch my skin, so I'm fine with it. An absolutely beautiful bra. I bought it 2 sister sizes up because that was the closest size they had on zulily. Well, it runs ridiculously big in the cups! It's about 2 cup sizes too big for me, and the stretch lace is really designed for someone more full on top. I'm so disappointed that it didn't work out for me, I'm a musician and would have loved nothing more than to wear music notes all over my boobs. Oh well. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Very cute, really wish it fit me! Unfortunately it doesn't have enough room in the bottom of the cups, so it slides down my ribcage and starts to hurt after a while. I'll probably have to pass it on to someone else. It looks like the Music II is supposed to have more immediate projection, but it's sold out in every size on the website except 90D. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I really like the multiway straps, cookie pockets, and light padding. Some people might not like the thin straps or the fact that the band only has 3x2 hooks, but those were not problems for me. If only it didn't slide down, this would be a favorite.
Third attempt at these Kinga music bras!! Runs big in the cups, average wire width, slightly shallower than the semi-padded Music II style. Finally, the correct cup volume for me. Band is TTS, will need altered.
Awesome! Thank you!! Also, how much is their shipping to the US?
How much would you recommend going down in the cup? I'm always a 75F in Comexim.
Well their bands are definitely TTS, so I'd stay in a 75 band. I'd go down one cup, the index size for this bra is 30:7 meaning the 65G should be a UK 30F but it fits me fine and I'm a 30FF (if it's a tight band) or a 28G. So I'd try 75E. I can't remember exactly what shipping is to the US honestly, but it's not much. You can right click and have Google translate the page if you're using Chrome. There is no US shipping option on the website so just pick one. Your address and phone # will not fit in their forms, so put what you can fit in there, submit the order & pick Paypal as the payment, and then email them immediately with your order # and explain you're American and give them your full shipping address & phone number. They will invoice you via PayPal for the correct amount. It sounds like a lot but it's easy once you do it. Someone there speaks English, so feel free to email them in English and they will answer you within a day, in English. They're quite helpful! I think my total was around $30 USD? They send tracking & everything!
The bra is super cute and looks like it would be a comfortable tshirt bra if it were the right fit. This was just too small all over for me. I spilled out of the sides and top of cups.
Wow, it's so pretty too! My affection for blue bras runs deep, so I'm biased, but I like the contrast embroidery...
What construction would you call this? Is it a half cup or a full-coverage bra or...?
