  1. Lace Non Padded Balconette Bra (113514)

It's very pretty and works great as a basic since it's not "over the top decorated". It's a nice lacy pattern and the bottom part of the cups are doubled lace fabric whilst the upper part of the cups are a single layer of firm lace with a soft, slim elastic band at the very top of the cups. It's semi see-through when you hold it up but once you've put it on it does not look see-through at all. So... A light weight bra which offers great support.

I ordered this bra in a size 30e and it's the exact same cup size as the Seamfree Non Padded ... bra by Figleaves and the Seamfree Non Padded Lace Wing bra by Figleaves in a smaller cupsize(30dd). So... If you're sure of your cup size in one of those bras, get this bra in one cup size bigger and it'll fit you exactly the same in the cups. However, this bra is much much firmer and tighter than the other two bras mentioned, I'd say it's more like a 28" than a 30"! Which is absolutely great for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> In the other two bras they're tight enough on the tighest hooks right away, in this bra it's tight enough on the loosest hooks right away and the elastic is very strong so I know it'll take some time to stretch out! Definitely! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

It poked me on the sides of my breasts, but that's my fault. I'm still struggling to get the right size for my boobs, I'm not keeping this bra, at least not in this size https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> If I'm gonna have it I'll exchange it for a cup size bigger, 30f. And oh, just to let you know, the straps on this bra are very thin as far as the bigger boobs market goes. I don't know about other sizes, but in this size(30e) the straps were 1.2 cm wide, would've preferred it to be 1.5-2 cm wide to be honest, what's so "unsexy" about wide straps? Nothing in my opinion, and besides, it adds so much more comfort even if the back is tight enough. Sure, the back size is most important, but even though you have the right size strap width is important too! The back is tight enough, I assure you that, even so my shoulders got red marks after wearing it for less than half an hour. If that's due to me wearing the wrong cup size or not, I'm not sure. It's something worth thinking about though if you plan on buying this https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Another strap issue that's not really an issue to me... I'm 5 feet tall(152 cm) and I always have to tighten the straps to their shortest length, not on this one! I wear this one on the longest length, otherwise it'd be uncomfortable. I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't recommend this for taller ladies or even average tall ladies! This bra'd be perfect if it weren't for the straps... One good thing about the straps though is that you don't have to adjust them all the time, they stay put throughout the day https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    Didn't fit

Summary: tight band, narrow cups, short straps, nice material

    I'm usually a 30D/DD with close-set, slightly FoT breasts.
I bought this in 30E because it appeared to be cut identically to the Just Peachy Lace Non-Padded Bra that runs very small. This seems to mostly bear out, as my larger breast fits incredibly well at my smallest time of the month. However, my smaller breast would definitely rather a cup size down both for depth and height of the cup. The band also runs quite tight. At my best I was able to stretch it to 28.5", so I hope the elastic relaxes quickly. I would ... recommend most going one band size up and one cup size up.
Shape-wise, the wires are vertical (U-shaped) and narrow. The cup interior is well rounded and avoids the pointy problem of many un-padded bras. The elastic on the top edge of the upper lace will cut into very FoT breasts but is suited to FoB or even shapes.
The straps are definitely set wider than I would expect for such a tight band, and more surprisingly are very, very short. I am a petite person with a short torso who usually has to shorten straps nearly as much as they can go, but these I had to lengthen to their absolute maximum for a proper fit.
The material is very soft and though the gore comes up quite high and just a little wider than my close-set breasts like, the wires can be pushed down about half an inch in the center and the problem goes away.
I adore the colorway I got (blue/duck egg). It looks sumptuous in person and almost as good in the photo.
All in all, I will be keeping this bra and just altering the cup to fit my smaller breast.

    • Gorgeous!

    • is the lace at the top of the cups stretchy lace with that elastic you mentioned? or just regular lace with that elastic sewn on?

    • 1

      moriko the lace is stretchy.

    • 3

I saw your pic thumbnails and was immedialtely like, woah boob twin. 28dd close set, even/FOT, shallow, tall roots checking in.

yogurt You should definitely start looking into Comexims, then. They are basically the only thing I am looking to get in the future now, or else just start making my bras myself. Nothing else feels the same and I can't get over how wonderful the overlapped underwires are at dead center for reducing gore width.

    • Gorgeous color on you, and nice fit!

This might work on others but for me, it was the wrong shape. There were wrinkles in the upper part of the cup yet, the soft lace edge of the cup also dug into my skin. I tried to size up and down in cup and size up in band as well but they all have the same problem with some variation. So the shape is definitely wrong for me. I can see that it definitely gives good lift. The lower part of the cup fit quite well. But it is no good for the upper part of the cup. I also had some underarm spillage, once again ... in all the sizes I tried.

I am still figuring out my breast shape and which styles would work for me. I suspect that I have soft breasts.

Finally, the band is definitely too snug for me on this one. I feel constricted and definitely can not fit 2 fingers in the strap. I have a 29 inch underbust and the 32 band is definitely the one that works for me in this design.

Edit (about a year later): By cutting some of the lace of the top of the cups (this means cutting and getting rid of the elastic edge too), I have managed to almost get rid of the wrinkling on the upper parts of the cups. I still can not wear under everything, but I can definitely wear it. The band still feels too snug. And the shape is not the best for me. But I thought I would write this tip, in case it helps someone else.

This bra is almost perfect. The wires are perfect. The band is on the tight side but not uncomfortable, which means room to stretch and a longer usable life. The straps are some of the shortest I've encountered - I have them fully extended, but they do fit.

The only problem is that once again the bra cups are fuller on top than I am. They offer good support and shaping on the bottom/sides of my breasts, but they fold over at the seam between the lace only upper and the mesh lined lower cup. However, it should be a simple fix to tack down the fold for an ideal fit.

Finally, the cups have thin elastic around the top edge, which is a little strangely tight and cuts into my breast tissue slightly, but which should be fairly simple to stretch just enough to fix the issue. Over all, I'm counting this one a win!

This is a beautiful bra and I love the materials but it's laughably wrong for my shape. My build leans toward being broad/shallow, and while the wires are only a little bit narrow for me the cup is definitely too deep. The upper panel wrinkles badly, and the top edge is tight enough that if I did fill it there'd be quadboob all over the place. The band and straps are fine, the lower cup fits well, but that upper cup is a disaster. Really wanted this one to work, but I don't think it's meant to be.

All of these Just Peachy brand bras have the same issues. They run slightly small in the band (that's fine) and their straps don't adjust long enough.

This has an odd fit with an ugly pointy shape that cuts into the upper breast. Maybe a larger than normal cup size would have helped, but not so sure. Band runs on the tight side. The straps are also too short. I wouldn't recommend this bra to anyone.

The band seems to run slightly small (felt like a 28"), but the straps are WAY too short. The cup size also runs smalls, but the ridiculously short straps were probably not helping. Plus, the lace looks gaudy rather than sexy.

Really pretty bra, the lace is very soft and comfy. The band was tight for me (I'm between 30 and 32 depending on stretchiness) so I think it would comfortably fit a small 30 or a 28. I'm pretty shallow so the lace lying diagonally across the top caused some quadboob.

Wrong shape for me- I was able to fill the bottom okay, but despite the top edge of the cup lying flat I wasn't really filling the upper half or tip of the cup enough, resulting in a bit of that 'elf shoe' look I end up with so often. Not the worst fit I've had, but it resulted in a pointy shape under a shirt. I think this bra was meant for shorter roots than mine- if I were to size down I'd definitely end up with quad boob. The gore was also far too tall to be comfortable for me (I'm close set, which resulted in slight overlapping of breast tissue). Wires were a bit wide, but also sat just on top of the tissue toward the center of my breasts.

  12. Lace Non Padded Balconette Bra (dd-g) (FIG-113514)

I love almost everything about this bra. The underwires are padded with a comfy material, the band is snug but not too tight (it's bigger than the 30f model I tried first), and the cups don't show through most of my shirts despite the lace and seems. Unfortunately, the straps don't extend very much and are fairly wide-set, which makes the bra uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time.

First off, I cut the last top part off the bra. The elastic caused it to wrinkle in a weird way even though it fit fine. It is now a half-cup that fits perfectly!

I measure a 30DD and fit perfectly into the padded version of this bra in that size. I heard you should go a cup size up in this non-padded version and it is true. I even have a slight quadboob but it isn't noticeable under clothes so it isn't an issue. This bra gives a very rounded shape which I love and nothing is too tight or pokes. It fits but it needed a little modification.

This bra has two different types of material forming the cup - a more structured under-part, and a lacey top. The joining region wrinkles oddly if you don't fill the cup 100%, giving a look under a shirt like your nipples are poking out even if they're not. The straps sit far apart and end up in my armpits, but I have a very narrow frame. Don't get this bra if you can't handle very narrow underwires. The bra is extremely attractive, however, and fits rather comforatble except for the strap problem. The straps are fully adjustable.

It's nice, just a tad small for me. I may have ordered the wrong size to start with, but the band is definitely tight as it is difficult to clasp on the last hook and the straps do not extend more than 15.5" fully stretched in hand.

I -LOVE- this bra. It's too bad that they only make super-lacy bras in 30E, because otherwise this is all I would wear. The lace is very thick and does show through. However, the bra fits me perfectly, and it very reasonably-priced.
