This was a pleasant surprise, bought here because the wires are just so, so narrow and wonderful. They fit great, and the narrowness helps the tall wing height work for me without poking. The gore is a tad high for my liking, so it stabs me a bit after hours of wear, but mostly it's pretty comfy. The band is nice and firm, and the projection is decent. I like the color, though not the hot pink accents, makes it look very much like a "teen" bra.
i need this beauty in a 30DD or 32D. i had hoped (not sure why...) that even tho it would likely be a cup or two too big, that it would still work for me, since i have super tall roots and since it's stretchy fabric (not molded) that i could pull it off. i was SADLY mistaken i have a 32E that is similar and fits, so i thought i might be able to do the same here... and the colors are SO vibrant, and the fabric so soft.... i really wanted this to work & will be looking for my size for sure!
When I took this bra out of it's packaging, I thought "those cups looks far too small". Once I started to put it on, it seemed that it was going to be perfect, a tacking gore, right band size, cups that didn't wrap around my sides ... then I did the swoop and scoop, no good.
This bra cuts in across the top of my breasts and I wouldn't say that I am full on top by any means - a common problem I have with full cup bras is a gap at the top. The bottom of my breasts also takes on a strange shape.
After I took ...the pics I tightened the straps which did improve things but the problems remained, not to mention, the straps were then cutting into my shoulders.
It's a shame because it's a lovely looking bra when it's off me and I also bought the matching brief - no point in unpacking them.
My mind is working on what I can do to minimise the top cut in (eg. remove the stabiliser) and whether some judicial seaming would fix that strange shape.
Update: It seems gravity may have solved the cutting in at the top without my intervention. Unfortunately exercise aversion has resulted in some weight gain and although my other bras with a 30 band still fit me, I have to use an extender with this one for it to be comfortable. Win some, lose some I guess. Read more 134 more words
I got the cobalt/coral colourway, and it's lovely. Bright, red-based blue, coral coloured embroidery and bows. The website pic shows more of a easter egg-esque periwinkle and salmon affair, but in person, both colours are much more saturated. Still more ultramarine than true cobalt, though. Everything looks very well put together.
It's slightly too closed on top for me, but nothing major. Adequate bottom projection, narrow wires. 3 hooks, woot woot! Band is soft and quite stretchy, but not to the point that it felt unsupportive or made me want to use the second hook. The only issue I have is a tiny bit of wrinkling at the apex of the smaller boob, like the bra was slightly pointier than I am. I think if my tissue was softer, it would have filled itself in
I really liked this bra at first. The band is true to size and the cups have a nice and somewhat rounded shape. It's usually comfortable, except when my ribs flare up under the gore. The cups are a tiny bit too big for me, so sometimes the fabric buckles and it changes the shape slightly.
This is a beautiful bra and I love the materials but it's laughably wrong for my shape. My build leans toward being broad/shallow, and while the wires are only a little bit narrow for me the cup is definitely too deep. The upper panel wrinkles badly, and the top edge is tight enough that if I did fill it there'd be quadboob all over the place. The band and straps are fine, the lower cup fits well, but that upper cup is a disaster. Really wanted this one to work, but I don't think it's meant to be.
Cups are nice and narrow and deep. The underwire channels are a little longer than that underwires, so you can slide them away from the sternum for added comfort. Love the color and materials. I got the matching panty (thanks, Figleaves sale!) and the set looks fab.
Upon further wearing and review, I'd have to say this bra doesn't give me enough room in the top of the cup, and squeezes some tissue overflow into the armpit area. I think a larger cup might solve this. I did some model comparisons, and this bra is similar to the Cleo Lucy in 32F - I will probably be listing it soon.
