    Hasn't set fit

My first Black Friday package arrived, and this bra is very appropriately an excellent everyday black bra that fits https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
My shape - short roots, average to narrow roots, even fullness and some inner fullness. I need a lot of immediate projection, short wire/wing, average projection in the middle of the cup, and a gore that's rather wide at the bottom but not too wide at the top, and cups that have room for inner fullness. This bra works so well for all of this!
One thing that works for me, but I can imagine might be a problem on someone with narrower shoulders ... are the wide set straps.
A bit about construction and materials - the two lower parts of the cup, only the top lace part of the cup is made from two layers of fabric. The cup is made fully from non stretch fabrics - which gives a very secure fit. The cup depth I've measured just by placing the measuring tape in the cup, when measuring by stretching the cup on the knee the depth is 34cm.
The top of the cup is closed off with a thin piece of transparent plastic. This is actually quite soft, and it wasn't uncomfortable while wearing it. I don't have the feeling that it makes the cup more closed on top, I think it's just there to reinforce the embroidery, because the edge of the tulle is cut to follow the pattern of the embroidery. The shape the bra gives is round and uplifted.
The materials are sturdy and the bra is well made. The design is simple but the bra looks quite pretty for a basic black bra. One other thing to mention is that there is side boning. It's not uncomfortable although I'm not usually a fan. The wires are quite firm but not too tall under the arm, with a wing of 11cm.
The band is made from one layer of material and it runs true to size. From what I've seen, the sizing for both cups and band have been very consistent in Gorsenia bras.
Overall this is a very nice basic black bra that's already made its way in my daily rotation.

    Didn't fit

This bra was for my friend, so I can't comment on my fit of it personally, though I'll be registering the fit check as fit for myself.

It fit her (UK36F) OK, but it was too big. The calculator overestimated her size a lot so this was a trial bra to ballpark her actual size. The band seems to run large or stretchy on this bra, as she immediately found it most comfortable on the innermost hooks, and I am starting to have to wear it on middle- to innermost hooks after three months.
It was comfortable under her arms, with the wires being perfect length so they ... didn't poke her and also didn't let breast tissue escape.

The construction is solid and the bra is beautiful, and my friend thought it was very comfortable despite being a few cups too big.

Wires were perfect width despite the cups being too deep and overall too big.

I measured this bra and I was surprised to see that the gore was so narrow, and the gore & wing height being so low (at least compared to CK bras of this size).

    Hasn't set fit

This is such a good fit on me - I actually did not expect to find an unpadded bra that actually fits, after trying various bras from the big brands - Panache, Freya, Fantasie, Elomi, Bravissimo, Ewa Michalalak, Empreinte, Curvy Kate.. - and finding, well, bras ranging from absolutely not working to wearable. I'm sharing this because it turns out that trying smaller or lesser known brands does pay off!

Back to the fit - I'm really happy to see that the cup shape matches my shape perfectly, and there are no wrinkles anywhere in the cup. My shape - short roots (my biggest fit/comfort issue are too ... tall wires), inner fullness, even fullness. I need a gore that's narrow at the top but which widens at the bottom, average to narrow cup width, and medium wire hardness works best. I need quite a bit of projection in the bottom of the cup, but not a lot in the middle. This bra just works well for all of that.

Also regarding fit, I remember reading other reviews saying that they found the straps on Gorsenia bras to be too wide set - tbh I didn't notice this, on me they're comfortable. However, I do have wide shoulders and it rarely happens to me that straps are too wide set. When it does, it's often a shape incompatibility (cup/sides too tall) or a cup too large (on wireless bras). However, with an older Gorsenia model that I've tried (Artemida), the straps are indeed super wide set and they almost slip off even my shoulders, so maybe that's an issue they've fixed or that's at least model dependent.

Regarding sizing, I'd say the cups are quite generous and it's possible to size down. The shape it gives is round but not half-sphere.

The materials feel sturdy and good quality. The cups are made from non stretchy fabric, and the lace at the top of the cups lies flat under clothes. The only strange thing about the lace is that despite it not feeling scratchy, it somehow catches on the clothes. It's not really an issue, just something that hasn't happened with other bras.

This review comes a bit late, as I've already had this bra for about a while. However, it keeps on being comfortable, and is holding up well with machine washing. The only thing is that I'll be getting a smaller band size next time, because as I am between 34 and 36, I find that with wear the band has become a bit looser.

I'm fascinated by this bra, because it's quite different from any I've had. That may just be me, though, because I've never had a padded bra! The Blanca is semi-padded, just on the lower cups, with a pretty lace overlay that also continues onto the upper cups, on the gore, and on the wings. I was expecting the padding to be some sort of foam, but it is felt. (I think.) It's very soft and thick - not bulky or heavy, though. I don't think it's actually cotton, but it has the feel of cotton. To be honest, it kind of reminds me of the high quality diaper covers/wraps I had when my babies were in cloth diapers. I mean that in a very good way! All of this together gives the Blanca the feeling of being handmade. Again, in a good way. To me. But I'm probably just weird https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

This 80I is horribly too small. I misordered. But the quality makes me want to try again in the right size.
