A very pretty bra, the subdued colours and flowers add some quiet interest. The cottony material feels very comfortable and not too stretchy. The boning on the wings probably helps. The straps are the best I've ever seen and felt, as they're wide, soft, nicely padded and flat - and a lovely colour. I'm not a fan of padded bras but I think I'll try and get the correct size because I love the roundish shape and centering effect of this bra.
Satin + lace, padding, front and centre: this bra has "Polish" written all over https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Not my absolute favourite look, but it's elegant, gives a nice shape, and comes at a great price. The lack of data on this brand meant I had to go by their size table and unfortunately, they have it quite wrong. I need So, ironically, disregarding their suggestion would have been better. However, this bra has close to zero elasticity, in both band and straps, and I know the right band size would feel constrictive. I think I'll order more styles to try though (hoping they aren't all this inelastic): inviting prices and hassle-free returns, as they're available through Amazon.
So another Polish brand - Gaia. The bra is soft inside and oustide, really soft inside and skin friendly. Straps are also soft and wide. Although the bra would fit someone more FOT as it fits but still theres some space. Band feels nice and snug and overall bra is very comfortable. This particular bra would be nice as a bikini, I would definietly purchase one!
Gaia is another of the well-known Polish brands I have been trying out via internet buying. Mary was almost but not quite a success! I love the dusty-lavender base color, the lavender-gray stretch lace, the sweet purple flowers on the soft cotton knit. Lined with the same comfy cotton knit, too. Nice design on the completely adjustable straps, firm band with great support, medium width wires that don't poke, terrific half-padded plunge? balcony? for t-shirts and summer clothes. I'm just not quite enough FOT to fill out the upper lace part.
Construction: The bottom material is a light foam with one seam. The straps are partly adjustable but not so long; I only doubled it up a little. The top of the cup contains a thin strip of tape.
Band: The band is about as tight as Panache; if you typically order two different sizes, I recommend the larger of the two.
Cup: The bra was listed as an 80G EU and 36G UK. Obviously both sizes can't be correct, since a UK G cup is roughly I in EU sizing. This seemed one or two cup sizes too small for me. ... It probably is a true 80G, which would make it about a 36FF in UK sizing. Do not trust the UK conversion!
Appearance: The bra has an interesting feature of having a split gore. The bottom part of the gore is covered with fabric and topped with a bow which is about 3.5 cm from the bottom. Above that, there is no fabric between the wires; it is open. At the very top the wires touch and are sewn together. This gives it a somewhat different look. I also liked the striped fabric. One one cup they took care to line it up so it forms a nice V shape by the seam, but on the other cup it is a smidgen off. This fits in with the price; it was not an expensive bra. The red of the bra is very striking; I like the pinstripes. I am less fond of embroidery, but red thread is used to great effect against black lace in this piece. Read more 177 more words
