    Didn't fit

I believe this would be a great fit for someone who is narrow and projected. Me, I am wide and somewhat shallow to average projection I think. The width is actually great for me but it is too deep. I think a 30e would be too narrow and too closed on top. I have tall roots and sadly the plunges are just a shape mismatch for me. It's too bad because the color way, the embroidery, and the adorable neon yellow feather charm in the middle is just gorgeous.

How I love this botanical print! It looks beautiful on you :-) :-) Like you, the Freya plunges don't work for me either, but how I adore some of the botanical fabrics.

I gave up on Freya plunges too. I can't fill the apex of the cup. If I size up a band and down a cup (and then take in the band) they fit for 2 weeks out of my cycle, but then I get major quadding for the other 2 weeks.

Try Bravissimo. I just got 2 styles that work. A plunge and a balconette. The balconette style is slightly loose on top, but the lace on that part of the cup is so fine it doesn't create visible bunching even with a thin t-shirt on!

hi Onceuponababe, the Freya padded halfcups work for me and I love their prints, like Love4Pollinators :) I just need to remember to stay away from their plunges but sometimes it's hard to resist!!

    • Ooh! The feather detail! I have 2 Freyas on the way to me, so I hopefully can narrow down my size as it’s been a while since might last Freya plunge soft/unlined bra. I got a Pollyanna in 32DD about 8 years ago. When I try it now, cuts in as I’m now swooping and scooping, and I’ve gone down in my band size. And I’m told my more recent Deco fits in its own category. So I’m looking at 28F, 30E, 30F...will have to see how the 28F Fancies plunge and 30E Kiyoko half cup work out. I’ll keep this one in mind...

    • Calluna - cool! The halfcups are a better fit for me so I'd be up for swapping for that possibly!

    • renemy im a fan of basketball boobs so I’m going to see if the Kiyoko half cup will work. I remember trying the Patsy half cup in fall 2016 and liking it but being unsure about my size in it because I was in 32DD at the time and that was huge on me. But I’m also wasn’t swooping and scooping which would likely have aided in finding the right size. I think that I was in between the 30E and 30DD (swooping and scooping would have probably made the 30E fit. But I’ve gone from 32 bands to 30, on average, so now I don’t know how the Freyas will fit in the band, which is partly why I got the 2 different sizes. I’m not sure if the half cup will work because I need projection at the wire or it slips from my IMF. I didn’t know that TIL recently so even though I thought Patsy was good, it’s possible that it was not, actually. I’m not going to have my bras until mid to late February, as they’re being sent from England to my friend in Los Angeles. The order is expected to arrive between February 12-28. I’m hoping it’s earlier since I’m only in LA from the 15th-20th (with travel on those days). I’m going to have to have my friend mail me if they don’t arrive while I’m there. Had I known that it would take that long, I’d have ordered a week earlier. Anyway, feel free to message me later next month regarding the half cup.

    • renemy I have a Freya mode padded half cup. I like the fit EXCEPT the outter layer of fabric gets weird puckers and the seams are THICK, So it shows through alot of tops. I'd like to try another model to see if it's any different, or try an unpadded half cup...just not sure what size because I like wires to be wider, near 13cm which is not what most 30DD are. I can alter bands though

    Didn't fit

So, I'm loosing weight, and needed new bras. Going down to a 34 band, just barely fits, which is where I want it to be. Freyas are really bad at stretching out quickly, as I found out with the 36 I bought about two months ago. Sure, some weight loss was involved, but I've only lost 3cm in my band size since I got that bra. So, it's pretty much the bra that's the problem. You might be wondering why then did I buy another of the same brand? Simple, I know it is comfortable, and there's plenty of sizing info for trying to determine size on ... this website, which made me more sure of my choice.

As for the cup, well that's been a struggle since I started trying to find a good fitting bra. So, based upon the measurement of cup volume that I fill out in another bra, and knowing I keep getting cups too big for me, I gave a shot on going 3 cup equivalents down to get hopefully the best fit. Well, if I was fitting my smaller breast, it would be a slam dunk. However, I need just about 1cm more in depth for my bigger breast. I'm going to keep this bra, because I am shrinking, and am likely to fit it better soon. It cost me 20 bucks, and isn't worth the cost to ship it back overseas. I've got some holiday shopping to do soon, and will be buying another bra from them a cup size bigger, to hold me in the meantime.

Otherwise, it's very comfortable. It doesn't poke anywhere. I was surprised that it only had 2 hooks per column, for it being a GG cup. I feel it would be a little more secure on the sides with the extra hook, and fabric that would go a little higher as it moves towards the back. I was hoping the pointyness of the cups would not be so bad in a smaller cup, but alas, they just are just as conical as ever. It's not terrible, but be aware if you need projection space, this bra doesn't do that for you. Overall, it's a very pretty, and I hope to use it soon.
