  1. Hero Side Support Balcony Bra (1842)

Wires are quite wide, even for me. First time I have ever even considered that the straps might be too far apart. Band was hooked on the second column from the start, so size down there. Was a bit of extra room in the cup, but I suspect only I would have noticed it. Very pretty, love the silver accents. Lace was a little stiff, but not at all scratchy.

    Black colorway

38J, Gore sticks out too far, I was able to put it on the tightest hook. Cups are too small. I measured the gore as being 4.25" high, and the cup separation as 1" wide.

    • Could you please add the measurements you mentioned to the bra's measurements? That way they can be used by others and incorporated into the system. thanks.

  3. Millie Balcony Bra (5930)

I tried this bra out and I cannot recommend it to other women with large breasts.

I normally wear 40 and some 42 bands, if I want to wear 38 band with Panache I always have to use an extension. But I could close the Millie on the tightest hook at first try with room to give. I might even have been able to sqeeze myself into a 36 band if I had been so inclined.

Short, the band is loose and stretchy. What makes it worse is that the wires are soft and wobbly too and stretch along with the band. The fabric of the cup also ... tends to give to pressure. I found it wholy unsupportive and not suitable for larger sizes, especially not if you have soft breasts.

However the Millie is a sister model of the Freya Polyanna. If you find that you like the cut of the Millie but dislike the wobblyness of this bra try the Polyanna. The fabric of the Polyanna is much sturdier and far more supportive, the band doesn't stretch as much and the wires are harder and less likely to give. Other bras with the same cut are Freya Nancy, Freya Latisha, Freya Edith and Freya Feya, but I don't know how supportive these are.

I think this is quite similar to the Freya Pollyanna Bra.

I was so obsessed with the blue embroidery that I somehow missed the print was a floral, so that was a surprise. Provides a surprising amount of lift.

The Pollyanna has soft wires, which tend not to lay flat angainst the sternum in this cupsize. I'd reccomend to wear it not too tight, because the soft wires will stretch might be too wide than. There might be not enough room for your boobs near the center gore. The floral print faded out after I washed it a couple of times.

38J, Although the gore stuck out and the cups seemed too small, there was wrinkling in the top and it didn't feel very supportive. I was able to wear it on the tightest hooks. I measured the gore height as 4.5" and the cup separation as 3/4" wide. I don't think I'll try another size in this one.

38J, The gore sticks out too far, and the cups are too small. Will see if I can find a larger size. Also, was able to comfortably wear on tightest hook. I measured the gore height as 4", and the cup separation as 1".

Comfort and appearance are the best features of this bra. The straps and the band are nice and wide, the material is soft, and it's just a beautiful bra. The cups were unfortunately too small for me--the top of the cups seemed to flatten and push the rest of my breast tissue out over the top, and the center gore did not lay flat on my sternum. I've heard that many Freya styles don't work well with full on top breasts, so this may be the issue. The band is also quite stretchy, so I would recommend ordering one band size down in this bra.

Similarly to other reviewers, I had the following issues:
    Cons:
    - The band on this bra is far too big. In Panache, I can just fit into 38 band. For this bra, I had to fasten it on the tightest hook and it is still too big.
    - The center gore sticks out at the top. I don't think it's completely due to the band size. Someone else had mentioned the wires seeming a bit flimsy, and I agree with that.
    - The cups are wide, and my breasts have a bit of a cockeyed look. ()

    Pros:
    - Very comfortable. The sides don't poke in, and the cup is very soft. The cup material is slightly stretchy.
    - Good quality materials, sturdy construction.
    - Cute color, I like the style.

    Overall impression:
I'd return this bra if I could, but it was on clearance. I will probably wear this bra as an everyday bra, until the band stretches too much to be useful. Then I might take out the underwires and use it as an overnight bra.
