Well, this is something of an anonymous basic bra from Freya - good but not stellar. Pros: - pretty - okay to wear, supportive and comfortable - sturdy, no-stretch band (a big plus)
Cons: - somewhat zeppelin-like shape, not as bad as the Leona, but clearly not rounded - straps feel slippery, I've needed to adjust them twice a day - the bra fits me, but it still doesn't. Sounds crazy, I know, but it's so. Every point in the fit list checks out, but still I'm "aware" of the bra all the time, unlike my trusted Lacey, EM PL Onyks or Bravissimo Boudoir Beau that I put on and forget.
*** Edit: Okay, I admit. This bra grows on you. It seems to fit better now after a couple of washes, especially after I spent some quality time searching for the right strap adjustments. Once I found them, it's actually a very good bra.
I'd known that this bra is for someone who is Fob type. So it is obvious that this doesnt work for me since I'm very FOT type. However, it was on sale, and I kind of fell in love with this bra because of the color and print. I altered the cup shape, so that it looks and feels like a more balcony style bra when I wear it. I like what I did, but the problem is... after alteration, the cup size became smalle . Now it is more like 34g, not 34gg.
This is a pretty, comfortable everyday bra. The cups' pink fabric is opaque, which I like very much because I'm not the see-through lingerie kind of girl. The rest of the bra is black, which I like too because it makes the bra versatile and discreet under tops.
I love the large straps that stay put on my narrow shoulders. They're set a little less far apart than my usual Cleo bras (this is the first Freya bra I'm trying out).
The cups are filled out correctly and I have no quad boob effect, this is the right size for me. I love the rows of 3 hooks ! It makes this bra feel very supportive. Also there's a little side support on the band wings.
Unfortunately, the center gore is sitting away from my sternum and the band is too large even on the tightest hooks so I'm sending this back... I will buy it in 30J when I find it in sale because I like this bra !
This bra fit me oddly. The width was okay, the bottom of the cup fit comfortably, it's just that the top is weird. There was spare fabric, the mesh part wrinkled significantly, but the edge of the cup was too tight, it cut into my breast tissue. I would call it more full coverage than I need, perhaps.
I received this bra from another user who got it used. The wires are bent, which actually works for me. However, the band/wing cuts in on just my right side, making it uncomfortable after a couple hours. I like the color and the softness of the fabric, but I'll probably only wear this bra sometimes.
This bra is probably the wrong size for me - I think I'm more of a 34J. The fit is difficult to evaluate, though. It's too big in some places, too small in others, and overall just feels stretchy and unstructured. At times, I seem to have a little wrinkling near the top edge... but after wearing it for more than a few minutes, I get pretty noticeable quad boob. I also get the east/west effect from this bra.
I am thinking that my problem with Freya bras (other than nailing down my size) is partly that I have very center-heavy boobs, and they ...demand strong wires to keep them separated/push them into the shape intended for the cups. Of course, I am also top-heavy, so it might be that the shape simply wouldn't work for me anyway.
One of the three frontal pictures shows how stretchy/unsupportive this bra is on me - when I move even slightly, my boobs and the bra move too. The band is likely too big, which doesn't help, but I suspect that the bra would feel quite... mobile? even in the right size. That's a mixed bag, though. It is very comfortable as a result. The wires also sit in good places, so the bra doesn't cause me any pain.
Looks: oh so pretty! That's why I bought this bra (that, and a ridiculously cheap clearance price), even knowing it was probably the wrong size. I love the bright floral print, the polka dot bow, and the lace edging on the bottom. The lace/solid ratio feels a bit off to me, but it would probably look better if it fit.
Because this bra is so nice to look at AND doesn't hurt me, it's currently my go-to bra for sleeping/lounging around the house. It's not perfect, but I take what I can get. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I love the look of this bra and it is made very well, however, it is just not the right one for my shape. Everything fits well, except the top off the cup. It is mostly filled, but very wrinkled. It's a beautiful bra and I really wish I could wear it. It feels very comfortable on my skin and the straps are very comfortable. The band feels a bit loose, but Freya bands are pretty stretchy.
I never even got the chance to wear it and the cost to return it to the UK to the store I bought it from on eBay is just not cost effective, so I'm listing it here hoping it will work for someone else.
This bra is much more rounded than other Freyas I've tried - the Ada and the Lyla. The band seems to be a bit longer than normal, though I did acquire this bra used (so it may just be that it's had a little more love causing the band to stretch a bit). I had to wear it on the middle hook from the beginning. I'm almost not full enough on the top for it, but the cup does lie flat provided I am standing/sitting very straight.
The band is wider than normal at the hooks, which I find to be very comfortable. I like that a lot.
