Out of all the Deco variations I have ordered, this one is my favourite. If you normally have trouble filling the top of the cups in the Deco, the J-hook in the back may help alleviate that problem and eliminate said gaping. It fits like a normal Deco (a cup and band size large). Ideally I'd get this in a 26F or even 24FF for my 26 inch underbust, but of course these sizes are not produced. However, this doesn't ride up on me because the J-hook tightens the band without pulling the straps and cups upward. I'd say this bra probably suits those who have evenly shaped to FoT ...breasts. The shape is definitely not compatible with my full-on-bottom boobs. Although the depth is ridiculously small, the top of the cups sort of have a straight line instead of curving towards the body. This bra demands quite a bit of upper fullness, which I lack. However, they have fixed some fit issues caused by past Decos by adding a new piping at the top of the cups. I have to note that this bra does run a little bit smaller than the Deco and Deco Honey (Topaz colourway with the piping on top too), but not enough to size up. The stock photos leave something to be desired, but in real life this bra is very pretty. Simple with a few feminine flourishes. P.S. the strips are still considered fully adjustable since the J-hooks aren't static. You cannot take them out easily, however.
I have now altered the band on this to a 26 (and all my other Decos). While I get minimal gaping with my regular Deco and perfect fit with Deco Honey, I now quadboob with my less fuller-on-bottom breast. I definitely would not recommend this bra to those who are full on top. Read more 194 more words
I would say the main problem I have with this bra is the cups come up to high under my armpits. There is a lot of extra fabric there (and after one wear, it was completely coated in deodorant that can't be removed). Another issue is the really thick straps have to be completely tightened to fit me. I think this is probably a great bra for someone with a larger frame than I have. It doesn't seem to work for me- I have a short torso. Too bad so sad.
I've been drooling over this bra ever since I first saw it become available for sale, and recently I bought it from another bratabase user.
Visually, it's stunning. I adore heather grey and I think that the white lace details are absolutely lovely, and transform an otherwise boring bra into something really adorable.
I really like the fit, both with and without the J-hook (though in order to use the J-hook comfortably I have to loosen the straps considerably). I do think I prefer it without the J-hook but I'm happy the J-hook is there for days when I want to wear something more racerback. My problem with the J-hook ...is that the triangle-ish space where the back strap meets the band becomes irritating when the J-hook is in place, but I have sensitive skin.
The cups fit in the traditional Freya Deco style, which I'm coming to realize is pretty much what my boobs need. The cups are shallower than I expected but, as I've always found the Deco runs a smidge large, I don't mind. The cups give me a lovely rounded shape with nice, tasteful cleavage. I do think that the wings come up a little more high and/or wide than I prefer, but it's not irritating or painful, just noticeable.
I heard that the tops of the cups were more closed in this model than the traditional Deco, which I was looking forward to because the tops of the cups of my nude 30FF Deco are beginning to turn out. However, I think that the closed edge presents a raised surface which shows through thin shirts just as much as a turning-out edge, so that was a bit of a disappointment. Still totally wearable with most of my clothing, though.
Overall I think that this bra is visually stunning and has a few minor fit issues that don't impact its overall wearability. Read more 203 more words
This bra was from a sale on here a few years ago and I'm just getting around to measuring it now. The cups are ever so slightly looser than other Decos in this size but that could be from wearing it and the cups stretching to fit. The band has not stretched out, but I'm also only working with 2" of negative ease. I should probably wear 26 according to some but prefer the feel of 28. I might wear this bra on the middle or smallest eyes depending on the day. For the most part it fits like a 28G Deco.
It's very comfortable. Though I do wish ...Freya didn't put a cup trim on this because it does show through shirts. It has the option to wear as a racerback but I find it uncomfortable at my neck. I keep the clips for this at the front of the bra (as seen in photos - those are NOT the adjusters). Really wish they were removable. So when you have them in the back or at the top and you're trying to take off a camisole, the straps from your cami, or any shirt for that matter, get stuck in the racerback clips. Definitely the best bra I've ever found to fit comfortably! I was professionally fit into this bra over a year ago and it's the best investment I ever made. Love that they included the J hooks to convert into a racer-back and the lightly lined cups so that it creates a very normal breast shape instead of the pointy cups on the unlined bras. Disappointed in the color choices though, as I'm not a fan of the crazy bright colors so the gray was the right choice for me, just wish it was a little bit lighter so that I could wear under whites. Only problem with construction is the scalloping on the straps, the J hook caught one loop and started to pull the whole thing. Had to readjust individually to correct.
This is a nice T-shirt bra. It is pretty, comfy and gives a smooth, rounded shape. The cups are tall and shallow, and although my breasts are narrow, short and projected, they are malleable enough to 'adapt' to the shape. The straps are wide and easily adjustable, with the option of a J-hook. The band is slightly looser than I like (I got it very lightly used) but workable without alteration. I am happy with this bra.
