I bought this bikini top because low price. This bikini have an vertical seam, non padded. There are 2 linings, center lining is stretchier than outer side. Cup fabrics stretch about 1 inch. I got quad boobs so guess cups run small, thought need bigger cup.
I tried this bra in many sizes. The 28E cups is slightly narrower than the 30DD cup and works less well for my breasts. The band fit true to size and the 30 feels better on my frame. The wires are very pokey in the gore. See also my review on the 28F (http://bra.pe/XWta/)
This was the first cup-sized swimwear that I got! It was quite a relief to not have half of your boobs escaping from flimsy, unsupportive triangle bikinis. I love love love this style. Unfortunately, I grew out of it almost immediately, and later repurchased the same top in 28F - Freya Swim ยป Calamity Banded Halter Bikini Top (3587) (longer review over there!)
I bought this over the summer while on vacation in Florida, it was an uplanned trip after working in Georgia and I hadn't packed a swimsuit. After trying some swimsuits at a few stores with no luck with standard S-XL sized swimwear I found a boutique that sold Freya and other UK brands. Many of the bras and swimsuits were quite overpriced, but they had a sale rack and I found this at a reasonable price. I tried it on the band was quite tight and the cups were a bit small, but I can deal with cups being a bit small in a bikini top and I hoped the band would stretch with some wear. I wore it for the while at the beach and the band didn't get any better. As much as I love this pattern I won't be wearing this again so I will be listing it. I did get it with matching bottoms but they only had a large, it does tie on one side so it is a bit adjustable.
It's really nice this bikini top is a multiway. It can be worn with a knot in the neck, as well as with a cross on the back. I tried both the 28E and the 30F. The straps of the 28E were to short to cross them, but the 30F were perfect. I normally wear a 28E/F, and the cups seem to fit fine, except the straps running from the centre core to the neck-knot/cross digg in my breast tissue making it quadboob. Not to bad for a bikini, because I don't mind showing of a bit, but I think a cupsize bigger would be better. The bra isn't padded, which I prefer (I don't want to show it when I'm cold), but I shows less then other unpadded bikini's I tried. The ruffles give it a cute touch (and a bit of a boost for smaller boobs)
The band is really snug. I found the underwires too wide and the center gore too wide. I pulled in the center gore a little, and bent the wires. After the alterations, it is really supportive, and it's comfortable. I think the cups run a little on the larger side.
This swimsuit is absolutely gorgeous. I prefer swimsuits with foam lining- but unfortunately the siren did not have that option.
