Fantasie makes great bras. I could wear this Shannon all day, it is that comfortable! With the side support panels, it brings the slightly pendulous girls up and centered. The wires are firm and average width, they do not come up too high under the arm and the gore tacks and is not too high, even being close set as I am. The wings also do not come up too high. The band is strong and firm, but not tight. The straps are fully adjustable. The well-constructed 4-part cups work great for my even/FOB projected girls, giving a perky green shape with no gaping, and are plenty deep ...enough at the bottom and the apex. The fabric is a smooth nylon, soft to the skin. Nothing itchy or irritating here. The berry colorway is different in a very grown-up way, its neither purple nor red, more maroon maybe? Burgundy lip stain? I couldn't get it in pictures. The decorative mandala-like embroidery detail is kind of ethnic/boho looking, and pink. Its an interesting combination of colors! And the color is simply awful on my yellow-toned skin. So I'm selling Shannon, even though she has done no wrong and fits just fine. Read more 92 more words
Another lovely eBay find that is discontinued. The bra is very comfortable, although as with most unlined bras I don't enjoy the stitching and have taken to wearing a think cup liner. The embroidery is different. Overall I'm not a huge fan of the color/design or the natural (read: less perky/supportive) profile this bra gives me, so although it's a good fit it's going up for sale.
This bra has the wire width measurement I usually look for (I'm wide and shallow but FOB) but I'm just not filling out the cups. This is weird as the top edge does lie more or less flat. Underwires are a bit high too. I would try the next size down but then the wires would be too narrow. Sad it doesn't fit as it's a beautiful, good quality bra.
I have difficulty finding unlined bras that fit my shape but this one was an exception. The side supports really enhance the fit as they bring the side breast tissues forward therefore filling in the cups. Some people complain it gives a bullet boob shape but this was not the case for me.
This is not a bad bra for support, but I personally don't like the way it looks, I feel like my boobs are pointed down because of the shape. The wires under the arm are placed well, and the center gore is a little tall but I expected that for a full cup. Over all a comfortable bra to throw on, but not something I would wear to look good under clothes.
For some reason I thought the sheer part wasn't so prominent, but it's half of the cup. I now know this is a standard for the "side support" style from Fantasie having tried on a few, like the Elodie. I think the circular mandala embroidery leaves more show-through so the bra might feel sexier for some women. However, I am not a huge fan of this type.
Fit feels true to size with all pieced cup Fantasie, Freya & Fauve bras. However, it doesn't matter if I tighten the straps I just cannot get rid of that bullet shape. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Feels like good high quality nylon material, sturdy and long lasting. Another excellent, understated design from Fantasie.. I just wish the shape worked out better for me. I have yet to find a pieced-cup style from the popular DD+ brands work for me. Until then back to the t-shirt bras and my funky Keia/Rubypink standbys!
