This bra has a great look to it. Like dressed up jeans. My right breast "can't quite fill" the cup, which is not a problem unless I need to avoid bounce. It is an excellent bra for every day. I feel supported but the band is not too tight. Realistically for a better fit, I could or should go down to a 30GG because the band can be pulled away from my back but it is in the right place and does not ride up. Also, I do not have a lot of "squish" to my rib cage so I prefer a bit looser band.
It's not necessarily a good bra for top heavy breasts.
Band is true, cup is probably true and I'm actually a G!
PRO Tight, but comfortable all around. Firm is probably the right word! I think I like the way it pins my boobs in place with a good firm hold XD Love the support! Thin foam padding; pointy nipple damage control with minimal extra girth
CON Tight around the top of the breast. Leaves marks, which is either me being top heavy or need to be up a cup size. Straps are a little rough on the skin.
THE REST This was my first properly sized bra. Very good as a t-shirt bra for me, as the foam rounds the cup nicely.
It's a bit small in the cups, but this is still by far the best bra I own. I found it after nearly two hours of trying on one not-quite-right bra after another, and thought it was a bit ugly until I put it on - suddenly my boobs looked fantastic! It was the first bra I bought in my proper size, as opposed to whatever the "fitters" crammed me into, and I think the reason why it's a bit small for me now is that it allowed my migrated tissue to migrate back - making my boobs bigger! Also very comfortable; I can wear it all day with no problems.
99% perfect. Love the smoothing cups to hide headlights & uneven breast size, and wear under any fabric. Love the support. Wish it were sexier and that it came in 1/2 cup larger to avoid the suggestion of quadraboob on the larger side. Update: i will be looking for a 34ff now that i've worn my Rhiannon for a bit & have either migrated &/or refined a preference for a tighter band. I will also be pursuing a better fit in their ava - both have lower gores.
Tried on in Nordstrom (price $72), such an odd shape, band too large, center underwire comes up wayyy to high by the sternum, cup ride low so it makes them look saggy https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Oh Fantasie--have you failed me or have I expected too much? That little quad boob on the left--can I forgive you for that? because when I wear this bra I feel like I own the room, that I am a All That. You lift me, project me, make me firm. Except for the quad boob part where I jiggle. Oh, and the slight inside quad boob where my bags-of-water boobs want to slowly fall out?
I can't wear you with most smooth shirts, and you make some of my cowl necks too tight because of your assertiveness. So I will have to think about this. Would a G cup swallow my right boob whole, but make the left one happy? Or do I need a different cut?
You do so much for me, but I know deep down this is not a good relationship.
The band fits well (could possibly be a little tighter). The cups are too wide for me. The wonky wires mean that this bra does not sit flat against my sternum (typical of Freya/Fantasie for larger cup sizes). Slight quadboob yet empty at the bottom of the cup. Sizing up to 34J improved the quadboob a bit, but had no improvement on other issues or made them worse.
I like the shape it gives and the minimizing effect is nice under certain shirts. However, the cups are so wide! The wires go way beyond my breast tissue onto the sides of the torso. My boobs also don't fill out the bottom of the cups and the underwire hits my ribs and is painful. It's not the most attractive bra either. It tends to peek out of V-neck tees and tank tops.
Cups are too small & cut into the tops of my breasts - quad boob. Side escape. Band felt fine, similar to other 34's I have. Too bad, it's a beautiful bra. Shape a little pointed, but not bad under clothes.
Gives an excellent, rounded shape. The wires are a little too wide for me, and the band feels a little loose--its doesn't ride up, but feels more stable on the second set of hooks.
Edit 10/27/2012: Actually, after I shortened the straps an appropriate amount, the band felt stable on the loosest hook. One thing to note is that the straps only adjust halfway.
Edit: 1/4/2013: The band on this stretched out incredibly fast. I'm on the tightest hook now, an it's only been a little over two months. By contrast, the Fantasie Florence, which I bought at the same time and had the same initial maximum stretch, is still ok on the second set of hooks.
Possibly one of the most comfortable bras I own! The cup is soft and it is lightly padded. I own the "white" one, which gets dirty easily, which is a shame, but I like the "art deco" inspired design on it. I will buy it again!
This is currently my favorite bra! I've been wearing it regularly for about twelve weeks. It fits perfectly in the cups, no overspillage, and the underwire is neither too wide nor too narrow for my frame. I'm currently fastening it on the outermost set of clips, allowing for eventual stretch, so I know it will fit for a long time (I have not noticed much stretch happening yet; it is wearing well).
It is a firm bra, with some sturdiness in the cups and a solid feel to the underwire. Luckily the underwire is shaped well, so it doesn't poke or prod me, despite this structure.
It's a mellow, lavendery gray color, and has a smooth finish that allows my clothes to move freely over it. The pattern is a subtle off-white print on gray, but it does show through more sheer clothing, requiring me to wear a cami under most blouses.
This bra doesn't give my boobs the best shape - it puts them into more of a pointed than rounded shape. As well, I find the straps set a bit far apart for my frame - they're frequently slipping down my shoulders. The cups also come up a bit high, and seem to rub on the front of my shoulders where my arm joins my torso. The center gore on this hovers about 1" away from my sternum.
I'm not particularly fond of the shape this bra gives my breasts - it makes the sides look flat, and when looking down, the space between my boobs seems to form a "V" (with straight lines). The top of the center gore hovers about 1.5" away from my sternum.
