All of my best-fitting bras are Ewa Michalak, so I was SO excited when she released a new swimsuit set! I know everyone has a different ideal in mind when it comes to bikini tops, so I'll start by saying that I personally prefer something lightly padded that will give a nice lifted shape and a little cleavage while still feeling secure overall. Happily, this top really delivers in each of those areas! It does an excellent job of lifting and centering just like the S cut bras, and the cleavage is pretty spectacular depending on whether or not you choose to use the pads. At the same ...time, I would be totally comfortable running down the beach in this without worrying that I would accidentally scandalize an innocent bystander It feels sturdy, comfortable and very well-constructed. But, be forewarned-- the straps are on the stretchy side, and while I don't mind personally, I wonder if it might pose a problem in larger cup sizes.
The color is a borderline-neon reddish pink with a slight orangey undertone. I was unprepared for how bright it is in real life! If you're looking for something that will stand out at the pool or beach, this is definitely it. In truth, pink is not my first choice and I wish the color was a little less vicious, but against the graphic black trim that lines the vertical seams and crosses over itself almost in a corset-like way at the gore, it actually makes for a beautiful and interesting design. As for the small removable straps, I personally really don't care for them and will be wearing this bikini without. Maybe for a vacation with my boyfriend they'd be fine, but otherwise I feel like they make the top look a little too much like bondage-inspired lingerie to be wearing comfortably around family and friends I do however love the little fabric tie at the back and think it's a really cute way to hide the bra's hook and eye closures.
I didn't end up ordering the matching bottoms because I wasn't sure about how high-waisted they are, but I think this top would be equally cute with solid black bottoms as well. Read more 272 more words
For the first time in my life I have a swimsuit that fits my boobs. Excited is an understatement. It fits just like the other S bras I own, so it feels super secure and I have no concerns about "falling out." I didn't buy the bottoms, but I wear it with a pair of solid black bottoms I already own. While it looks fine I do plan to order the bottoms at a later time.
I love this bikini (I got both pieces)! Zathiya got it in stock, but didn't have my normal 32J, so I sister sized to a 34HH. The band definitely runs a little snugger than the S cut bras due to the swim fabric so it works for me. Also for people wondering, despite the seaming/decorative trim it is still a 3 piece construction. I'm not sure that the decorative straps would work well with people who are functionally FOT. I'm full on top but also very short rooted and they pretty much hit right where I want them to.
My shape: full on bottom, soft tissue, narrow shoulders/roots. I bought this last year on sale from Zathiya Lingerie. Appearance: This is the cutest swimsuit EVER. it's a really bright hot pink color, with contrasting black piping details, a little black button at the gore and straps, and has detachable black straps that you can hook at the top of the gore to the sides of the straps to give it a strappy, sexy look. This also comes with removable cookie pads, which is awesome for assymetry. The clasp at the back has a little ruffly sort of fabric piece that you can tie to cover up the clasp, since ...it's basically just a bra clasp with multiple hooks. Fit: This is considered an S cut, which, for me, gives serious poofage of the breasts above the cup. Technically, this fits me perfectly, but I just don't feel as though I have enough coverage. I feel like I'm going to pop out of the top of the cup at any minute, which isn't something that would be cool to have happen in a swimsuit. If this was a different, more full-coverage cup, it would be the PERFECT swimsuit for me. Read more 89 more words
I was pleasantly surprised that the color is more of a true hot pink than an orangey-coral (which I feared - orange looks bad on me, but hot pink looks good!)
The fit isn't all I'd hoped, though. The 70 band is very firm; I usually wear 30 bands in UK bras, and I found this a little tight. If you're closer to 32 in UK bras I would definitely go for a 75 for this particular model. The cups are too big for me; these fit like true 32GG cups, IMO. So overall I'd say this fits closer to 30H or even 28HH.
In case you're not familiar ...with the EM S shape, it has foam-lined cups which make it their closest thing to a T-shirt bra. They're not quite as deep & narrow as an unlined EM but still much deeper than any UK T-shirt bra you'll find. Most of the depth is in the apex & top making them great bras for FoT. They are seamed construction so they are not seamless under a T-shirt, but cuts like this (with no lace on the outside) look pretty darn invisible (unless you get a lot of top gapping like me in this one.)
This particular S is, of course, swimwear, but I can't comment on its swimmability since I haven't taken it into the water. Since it doesn't fit well, I think I'm going to either return or sell it. Read more 134 more words
I had been wanting this swim top and final bought it while on sale on Zaythiya.com. However, they did not have my size (still working on finding my size). They did have a 70H, so I went with that. Absolutely love this style. I prefer tight bands for bras, but do not want them super tight for bikinis. The fit is not horrible but definitely not my size. The band could be a little tighter and cups are too small. I do not use the inserts (on any bras). Wore the added straps once to the pool, but feel they do not sit where they should because of the small cup. I still love it and wear it but know I need a different size.
