    Didn't fit

I wasnt sure about this bra before buing it as my Ewa size to go is 70E/65F, so theoretically there is no way 65DD would fit, right? However price was decent and I though that in the worst case it might give me these massive quadboobs and would be too tight. When I took it out of the package, the band seemed to be on the tight side but cups didnt look like 65DD, they were more like 65E. Also surprisingly there are no cookie pockets! (maybe the previous owner requested or it was an error from the company side)
So far, Ive tried M cut only ... twice, Syrena in 70DD when it came out (was so tight and small due to shallow cups that ive sold it immediately) and Jezynka in 75D (its almost perfect, band stretchy but stays comfortable on middle set of hooks and cups are good size). So how 75D is fine, 70DD was too small and 65DD is perfect? No cookie pockets in Scarlet? or maybe sewing error by cutting it to be more like 65E? whatever. Thats not important. Important thing is that the bra fits beautifully and gives me nice cleavage, but thats not all.
Straps. Oh booooy! I havent had any Ewa bra that has narrow straps like this one, even some customised Comexim straps arent so good. It must be due to the smaller and shorter cups in comparison to what Im getting in 65F/70E. Straps are soft and comfy, although bit too thin and Id prefer little thicker (being spoiled by BM and S cuts.. )
The band is little tight but not crazy that I cant wear it. Itd would be perfect with 1 extra row from extender however im too lazy to look for it and im just wearing it without. Also its a second hand bra, so band is little losser than it would be if id buy it new.
Wires. They re little too narrow as the width I need is between 12.7-13.2, but even id theyre little narrow, they do not really sit on my breast tissue or cause any discomfort.
Cups. As I mentioned, there are no cookie pockets, thus bra has more projected cups that can accomodate slighlty larger boobs. This bra is nice, quite low plunge. Plunge bra that fits me without cutting in from the middle? It feels like a dream but this is the reality!

Geeez, I think im going to start buying Ewa bras in M cut as Im in love with how Scarlet fits me. However, if Im going to order any M cut, Ill probably go with my usual size 70E (just in case). Cant wait for new collection!

From my experience (at least with the half cups), there's barely a difference between the 65E cup and the 65DD cups, besides a stiffer underwire and a taller gore.

    • Oh really ? Iv noticed big difference in HC between 65E and F (the 65F are usually too large for me) and o haven't really tried many styles in 65E as my favourite are S, SM and BM

    • 1

Oh yeah, I think there's a big difference between 65E and F for CH's that I've tried. But DD and E are similar.

    • Noob i have to agree with you as I have a 65DD HP Kobalt that is passable & it definitely shouldn't be lol

    • Well good to know! Thanks Noob and lcl0706 !

    • I love that the M bras (well most of them) have the exra thin straps. Unfortunately the custom M bras don't have thin straps.

    • Prettyncharmeuse would you say that strap placement in M is narrower than in other styles or its same wide set? especially in band 70?

    • martka00 I would consider them to be wider set. At least the custom ones that I have feel wider, the rest may be similar/wider.

    • Prettyncharmeuse damn. However I still will give them a go at some point. I bet is worth trying :)

    Fits

I was hesitant to buy this bra, because I can't wear my 65FF - Ewa Michalak » Pl Blekitna Rapsodia (658) or 65FF - Ewa Michalak » Pl Zlote Oko (776) due to the hard wires stabbing me at the gore. But this bra does not cause me any pain. The wires are still hard but since they fit me better they are not stabbing me. I am not sure why it is a better fit because the gores are similar. The cups are deeper and shorter. They also have more immediate depth which I need. Most of my padded bras have less ... depth then my unlined bras causing me to feel squished. So I need the 9.5 in. I love the short cups that do not hide my boobs. I do not have much upper fullness but my roots are kinda tall so I need short open cups and these are perfect. The gore is short enough and narrow enough that it does not sit on breast tissue. I am happy I order a 70 band because the band fits close to a 60. Ewa Michalak says there M cuts run tight on their website. The tags on the band are very irritating. The lace is not scratchy but not super soft. I love red bras but prefer more of crimson to orange tone of this red. I love the polka dot bows and also the bows on the sides. Photos are taken with out the cookies.

    • I noticed that the tags were really irritating on my M cut too. Glad you got a better fit with this one!

    • 1

Are those bows on the band? Dangit, this bra is so stinking cute.

    • 1

This bra is really pretty on you.
I've been telling myself not to get this because I already have a few red bras, but after looking at the lace...

I love the M bras because they seem to have more depth at the wire than the newer PL bras (in my experience)

    • This is beautiful on you!

    • The PL Gore wires are slightly taller than the M wires., too. I SO wish Ewa Michalak would expand the size range for M.

    • 4

thanks everyone. True plunges that are projected at the wire are hard to find so I hope they would expand the sizes. I think a lot of bra companies assume that larger breast will spill out the center with a shorter gore but that not true of all breast.

    • This is such a lovely bra and seems to fit you so well. I kind of want to get one in the PL cut.

    Hasn't set fit

I’m pretty sure I bought this one during the Black Friday sale a while back. I was surprised to see it in a 70F as typically the largest cup in the M cut for a 70 band is 70E. A while back my boyfriend bought the Scarlet for me as a custom CHP in 65E, but I tragically can’t wear it anymore because the cups are waaaay too small now. So I always wanted to try Scarlet in the M cut when it came out. Add the fact that this Scarlet was on sale, and I had to get it. This is the only M cut bra I’ve ... tried and I really do wish Ewa made it in larger cup sizes. The straps aren’t too wide set like other Ewa styles and they stay out of my armpits completely. Also the gore doesn’t give me any issues at all even though I’m close set. It’s very comfortable for those reasons, but the cups barely contain my boobs. It’s very low cut and great for cleavage, but if I move around too much my nipples can pop out a bit. I don’t wear it with cookies, so I definitely feel a 70FF would’ve been ideal. Also I will say that the band in this cut does run tight as normally a 70 would be too loose for me. Overall this is a really beautiful bright red bra, and I’m really happy I bought it despite it being a little too small. I just wish Ewa would make the M in larger cup sizes; you don’t have to be petite or wear a smaller cup size to want narrower straps and a lower gore. But I don’t think Ewa would agree lol.
