    Fits

I think BM will be my favorite EM style! The stretch lace is so comfortable, the cup fits to me instead of fighting me!

I was not planning on buying another BM right now. I LOVED my 70HH - Ewa Michalak » Bm Bibi Beżowa Perła (533) but it was way too small. But when I saw this, I just LOVED the purple on black pattern and had to buy it I'm really glad I did as this bra (at leave from the brief trying on for the post) seems to be amazingly comfortable AND good support. Its not as 'out ... there' as my favorite Floris, more rounded and close to the body, but for tighter fitting clothing, I think thats a good shape. The seams are somewhat visible through a shirt, but that might fade with a few washings.

I love the little bow in the center - its almost like a shoelace, not girly at all - I think it fits in with what feels like a bad-ass look to me, feminine but not girly, intensely colored but not bright or loud.

Fits nicely on the 2nd hook, which was what i expected buying a 75. Sometimes my 32s/70s seem a little tight, so having a little breathing room seemed like a good choice, esp since EM bras have 4 columns, giving you a lot more choices for how tight to fasten it.

My only worry is the scalloped elastic at the bottom - my 70J - Ewa Michalak » Sm Fiolecik (642) has a similar lace, and it folds under and gets a bit scratchy. However, hopefully the softer, stretchier elastic of the BM will prevent this bra from giving me the pain I get from my Sm

    Love this bra!

This looks amazing on you! I'm so glad you found a new bra that fits :)

I'm so glad you finally got it, and that it fits so well! It looks incredible on you! Definitely get the badass vibe!

    • 1

It looks so so so good! :D

    • 2

Love the way the lace almost has that "painted on" look. Black and deep purple is one of my favorite color combos in lingerie ever!

    • 2

This is a beautiful bra & looks great on you!!

    • 2

If the edge keeps folding under you dbmamaz, sew and tack that edge up to the wire channel. It's what I had to do for my Envy.

    • 1

I will if its a problem w this one. My Fiolecik has such a bad band, its hard to know what role that plays

    • 1

You should get a job as a bra model your bras look great on you.

    Fits

I think out of all my 65GGs, this is the one that actually fits and it's for one reason -- the cups are deep enough at the wire.
It is incredibly annoying to me that EM as a bra manufacturing company has no set standard... I understand differences in the material and such, but I don't think these inconsistencies even depend upon that. This bra, plain and simple, is *made* differently than my Kleks and Apricot, as in there are clear differences in the patterns.

I feel like there is enough space in the cup to accommodate 'me'. That being said, the cup is a little tighter than my 70G ... half lace bras. Maybe it's the tight band making it so, however, I tried it with an extender and it made no difference, other than considerably less support.

Yes, the band is really tight, but on this bra it does not bother me at all. I will say that the band is not made of the same material that my 70G half lace bands are made from. It's very strong powermesh, rather than the thin and flimsy one in my other Bibis. I have no explanation for this, why they won't use this one Czarny Tulipan and Bibi Black is beyond me. It is tons more supportive and it's not nearly as stretchy as the other one.

Overall I'm pretty happy with this one... I do wonder if going for 65H would have been a little too large in the cup or just right. There is no way to tell because EM sizes work in mysterious ways...

Odd that the cups dimensions are so off between the bras you got. Glad you got at least 1 that fits you.

    • 2

Actually at the deepest part they all seem to be the same (26.5cm unstretched, 27.2-3cm on me) but this one has *considerably* more depth at the wire.

    • 2

How frustrating that they don't all fit like that!

    • 1

I'm so glad this one fits! It's super pretty.

    • 2

I tell you, the half lace BMs are just more boob friendly!! I have experienced the same power mesh variants and it does make you wonder why she juat doesn't stick with the firmer one for all.

Glad you like this one. :-)

    • 3

ooh yaaay for one of the bras fitting. That's great. ^_^

EM is so weird with what works from what doesn't. I'm half worried the 60KK Brownie that I ordered won't work (whether it may be because it's either too big or small) but what can we do other than try.?*sigh*

    • 1

Frazzleberry Consistently inconsistent seems to be the motto of late, doesn't it?

I wonder if the little number sewn into the wire channel tells us a seamstress? Maybe we should start noting that number in our reviews to know which ones to request or ask to avoid, haha.....

    • 2

MamaPagan haha yes, that is some food for thought. I've always wondered what those numbers meant though...

    • Quality control? although those re usually stickers

    • 3

It’s not just EM, British companies do it too. I have a few different Plunge bras from Elomi and there seem to be two different patterns- one with a lot of depth at the wire and one without. Of the last three plunges I have bought from them this winter only one had the deeper at the wire pattern.

Their band materials also change a lot and they even have two or three different black mesh types.

This is something I think you will notice across brands if you buy enough of the same bra style from them. It is frustrating but it’s also one reason why I am begginning to only buy bras from places where I can return them.

    • 3

I don't have the return option in my size.... 😖

    • 1

Ya I can't return either cause I have the straps extended which is ridiculous!

  3. BM Bibi Fuksja in 60KK

BM Bibi Fuksja is a black half lace BM bra with purple trim and accents. This one comes with the standard 4 sections to the cup, 2 lower vertical ones, an upper horizontal, and an outer wedge section that connects the straps to the cup. As with all the BMs, the upper lace section is always stretch lace.

The band measures 23.5” to a max of 29” and has 3 hooks with 4 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.5”

2 ... Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 15.5”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

The half lace BMs are my bra bliss, so this one is super comfortable and an altogether perfect fit. I have found so far that the half lace BMs are consistent in their sizing and cup formation, which is nice.
