I am so excited about this Bra! It is one of the first unlined bras I have had in a VERY long time. I have a real issue with looking VERY cold in thin bras. Since I had such good results with my first few Ewa Michalak bras, (bought through other Bratabase users as I was trying to determine my size) I decided to try one of the soft models when I broke down and did my first direct order. Many reviews said that the size in the padded versions vs the soft versions varied by one size. Since ...I had determined that my size in the padded styles was 70FF, I went with the 70F in the soft style (bratabase measurements show this as well). The result was PERFECT! The fit is spot on and it doesn't have me looking like I just walked out of a walk in freezer! It feels so much better to wear a soft bra without all the extra material when it's 100 degrees outside! I was a little concerned about the gore as my breasts are very close set. This did not end up being a problem as the gore on this one is actually very similar to the 70FF - Ewa Michalak » Chp Summer Time (553) and 65FF - Ewa Michalak » Chp Famme Fatale (468) that I had gotten when trying to determine size. I will definitely be ordering more soft styles so that I will have more than one bra to wear during the summer months. Read more 168 more words
It is unlined so I cant compare it to the CHP or S style that I know Ill love more but having bought this for 30$ to try out sizing makes me confident 70F will be my size - especially since I know now (was told after I bought this) that sometimes its best to downsize a bit in the BM unlined style.
Also, I made an error measuring at first so I mistakenly though I had a 10" depth - went ahead and bought this bra that has 9.8" and remeasured afterwards and I realised I really am 9.5"
The band feels very sturdy which I love - does not feel cheap like a lot of other brands. The bottom part of this style fits perfectly but the upper lace part is a bit too loose. It doesnt show when standing straight but if I bend over the lace part opens a bit.
Allover happy with this and Im more than ever looking forwards to alllll my other EM's coming my way.
Love the look and shape this gives, but there is absolutely no stretch to this band. When I wear it with an extender, the shape it provides is super round and lifted -- surprisingly so for an unpadded bra. I also think I would do better in one cup smaller. This fits my larger boob well, and wrinkles a bit on the smaller. With the stretchy lace, I think a smaller size could accommodate just fine. I also found the wires super narrow, which I didn't expect. Love this, but would like to try it in an 80G.
A beautiful balconnet bra with firm opaque lower cups and an upper panel of stretch lace. The other BM cuts I own (the Perla and the Migdaly) both have an upper panel consisting of a single layer of stretch lace. The Aqua, however, has a double panel: a lower layer of plain elastic netting overlaid with a layer of stretch lace. It does therefore offer a little more encapsulation than the Perla or Migdaly -- but it's an incredibly stretchy lace and those looking for a very firm, held-in feeling may not find it sufficient.
The BM cut runs wider than the SM cut. Those who found the SM/S ...wires too narrow might therefore have more luck with the BM.
The stretch lace upper panel is very forgiving; incredibly so; and I'm not sure if it's because of this but the cups seem much roomier than the SM cut. At least half a cup size roomier, if not a full cup size. While this one fits me fine without being high-coverage, I also feel like I'd like to try a cup size down in this one, there's so much potential extra space that the stretch lace panel would afford me. Sadly, I can't personally test this theory as the BM cut isn't made in a 70E.
Gore is a little higher than on my SM bras. It is very narrow, if not quite enough so for me.
*Edited to add: after a few washes and wears, the stiffness of the fabric has faded and the cups are now better moulded to me, but I'm still of the mindset that I could wear this bra in a 70E, a full cupsize down from my SM/CHP size.
This bra is quite a schizophrenic case . https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Nothing wrong with the colour scheme, it's nicely summery, and I do like the Bm style in general, it fits my breasts perfectly. But as I have the Bm Bibi to compare with, there's again that notorious Effuniak inconsistency in size - and this time in shape as well. The cup is somehow longer, which means that although it fits perfectly on the top part, bottom part and sides, there's empty space at the tip of the cup. Not much, but noticeably. I have arrived to the conclusion, however, that the size ...is right, so maybe I just got a monday specimen. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Pros: - the Aqua is _seriously_ sturdy, must be the sturdiest EM I have. The stretch in the band is minimal - and it's tight - Nice, fresh colour scheme - Soft material, especially the lace on top of the cups. As a top-full boob gal, I appreciate it. - Because of the sturdiness, the Bm profile shape gets the center stage. I really like it, it's very much like Cleo Meg shape.
Cons: - big in the cup, compared to Bm Bibi - The cup shape it longer (or is it deeper?) than in the Bibi Read more 111 more words
