Didn't fit

A beautiful balconnet bra with firm opaque lower cups and an upper panel of stretch lace. The other BM cuts I own (the Perla and the Migdaly) both have an upper panel consisting of a single layer of stretch lace. The Aqua, however, has a double panel: a lower layer of plain elastic netting overlaid with a layer of stretch lace. It does therefore offer a little more encapsulation than the Perla or Migdaly -- but it's an incredibly stretchy lace and those looking for a very firm, held-in feeling may not find it sufficient.

The BM cut runs wider than the SM cut. Those who found the SM/S wires too narrow might therefore have more luck with the BM.

The stretch lace upper panel is very forgiving; incredibly so; and I'm not sure if it's because of this but the cups seem much roomier than the SM cut. At least half a cup size roomier, if not a full cup size. While this one fits me fine without being high-coverage, I also feel like I'd like to try a cup size down in this one, there's so much potential extra space that the stretch lace panel would afford me. Sadly, I can't personally test this theory as the BM cut isn't made in a 70E.

Gore is a little higher than on my SM bras. It is very narrow, if not quite enough so for me.

*Edited to add: after a few washes and wears, the stiffness of the fabric has faded and the cups are now better moulded to me, but I'm still of the mindset that I could wear this bra in a 70E, a full cupsize down from my SM/CHP size.

This bra is not owned any more
