I'm just recently discovering my accurate bra size, so I don't have much to compare this bra to as of yet. That said, the cup size on this seemed a tad too big compared to the Fantasie I have that's supposedly the same size. This 36G is a little tight on the band for me, but i'm right at 37" underbust, so I was trying to steer towards a tight band that would loosen to just right over time. The lace and scalloped trim they've chosen however has been unbearably itchy, the center gore was so tight against my breast bone that I thought it might bruise, I couldn't even manage to wear it for the day. It doesn't have any padding, and I love how wide the straps and band are, but loosening the straps to a comfortable level caused some wrinkling in the top just below the strap that I wasn't crazy about.
This is one of my work bras; it's a decent fit, but I'm not in love with it anymore so if it gets sweaty, dirty, damaged, I'm not worried. I'm on the inner hooks now tho' so who knows what I'll do for sweaty work days. Probably wear a Panache Sport.
When I was 40FF Elomi plunges were my jam. Since losing weight I've also changed shape, so there's some bulging in the center above the gore. The wires are also super wide for me; not uncomfortable, but well past my tissue on the sides. I used to have tissue there, and less tissue up top, so Elomi plunges and I have parted ways.
I found this on clearance and it is a sister size; the band is too tight without an extender, but the cups fit relatively well. The larger breast has a teensy bit of tissue that is cut by the top edge of the cup. The day I bought this, I tried on another Elomi in a 38 - Persia - and it felt as is the band was larger than this one. My guess is that some people would need to size up in the band. The cups are iffy. I went with my sister size and I really needed one cup size larger.
It's wonderful as a plunge bra. I don't have that many items to wear that need this, but everything I've worn it with has worked.
This bra is amazingly comfortable. I like the feel of the fabric and the straps. However, the wires come up too far under my arms for my liking. The band does seem quite stretchy. Unfortunately I believe I was measured improperly because the the band rides up in the back and the cups squish my breasts a bit. While the wires and pattern are not to my liking, the style and feel of the bra is great. It would be nice for an everyday comfortable full coverage bra.
