Was my favorite of the Elomis I tried but still not the right fit for me.

Pros:
*Smooth fabric
*Stretch lace was forgiving for one breast being slightly larger
*Stretch lace placement of being on the inner cup was ideal for my center full breasts
*Low gore felt less pokey than higher gore styles on my close-set breasts
*Band felt firm but comfy with the felted fabric along the top and bottom
*Third hook added extra support
*My underarm was NOT jabbed- a common problem for me
****The shaping was PHENOMENAL-taking my breast tissue from sliding under my arms to gathering it front and center- I felt the difference in not having to swoop my arm ... AROUND breast tissue when raising my arms in front of me; the firm side support felt wonderful and not restrictive at all- this is probably my favorite feature of this bra and why I am so disappointed I can't seem to get the right fit in it!***

Cons
*Why the ugly geometric print on the cups?
*Underwires slipped down and left marks on my ribs
*Could use more padding on the gore wires

This review is for the Elomi Kim Plunge bra in 34GG. My ABTF size is 32G/GG UK (or more) depending on projection. This size was recommended to me by Breakout Bras.

Band:
* Measured from 29 to 32 before wires distorted.

Wires:
* Very firm.

Cups:
* Three-piece cups plus side support. Low centre front gives a plunge without push up

Fabric:
* Comfortable.

About me: very close set (breasts touch), very narrow roots, very projected at the wire, functionally even to full on bottom, short roots, relatively soft tissue, significant rib flares, narrow shoulders.

FIT

* I hooked this on the middle hook. Not very surprising considering it's a 34 and I'm a 32. I was surprised ... that at 31 inches the wires started to distort when measuring.
* The gore tacked HARD; it felt like there was a piece of cardboard keeping everything aligned. Not a love match. But it was a low gore which I liked.
* The cups were very tall for me and I didn't fill the tops. The wires are not narrow enough for me at all and it does not have enough immediate projection for me. * The straps are long enough.
* The sides are a comfortable height for me.

Kim is another Elomi plunge style, but unlike the Matilda (which seems to spread the breasts out horizontally), it pushes the breasts forward more. The cups are also farther apart than Matilda. Matilda has been a pretty good fit for me, and Kim usually fits great as well, but it does seem to depend on my cycle. I’ve noticed that Kim doesn’t quite have enough inner room for closer-set breasts either (probably because it’s wider-set). Unfortunately by the end of the day, it rides down ever-so-slightly and the top of my left breast gets quadding. Overall, it’s really comfortable, and I actually really like how it gives me ... that “shelf” look, I just wish it fit better in the center and top. I’ve tried 34J and the cup didn’t seem much different than the 34HH, but the wires were too wide and caused wrinkling.

UPDATE:

This bra looks very cute. It's hot pink floral pattern, it's printed and it has a very nice satin, silky feel. The lace top is stretchy.

It has very wide wires but that's as expected for Elomi.

The gore is nice, for me personally it could still be slightly lower or narrower, either or, to be a great fit, but I manage.

The shape of this is quite projected, but it's not a great shape for me because I do get wrinkles in the bottom of the cup as well as empty space on the sides because of the wires.

I originally wrote a review that was useless and I've now ... worn this bra many times since so I've got a better understanding and feel for the bra.


The cut is similar to Charley, which I also own in the same size, but this one is more projected than Charley.


It's decently comfortable, I've certainly had some more comfortable bras but this one is up there pretty high. I think that's because of the fabric which is very nice.

Lift wise it's not amazing but I've adjusted the straps a little tighter and it gives a better lift. But because it's a bit of a shape mismatch for me it's never gonna give me the lift I need. This bra fits like a dream. I got it in another color (Black) and I'm so glad I found it. I thought the 36GG fit me the best, but the band on that is a bit too loose. It fits great when I'm on my cycle though, so that's nice (I was searching during my bloat period without realizing it, lul), but for the rest of the month, this is my everyday bra. My first test drive was a day at Universal Hollywood. It was a long day, on and off heat. The bra was comfortable the whole time. It's not the most breathable under super heat, but ... it will serve me well indoors and the short bits I'm outside. This is a copy pasta of the review for the other color of this same bra, since it fits exactly the same, but I want to post both of them. The pink one is so pretty. Oh man. I almost didn't measure this bra, but I haven't worn it outside of trying it on, so I thought the measurements were still valuable. They are slightly different than my other 34H Elomi Kim (black) that I measured. It might be due to the limited wear.

The top edge of the cup is less stretch than the lace that makes up most of it, which caused it to cut into my flesh in a way I didn't like. No so tight it changed how it felt, but it caused a noticable difference in the look

Gore seems ok until I move too much, then it digs in a little. The quad-boobing is very slight and probably would not occur if there was not elastic along the top of the cup. But the cups are definitely too wide for me by at least a half inch. I'll keep it even though it's not a perfect fit because it's comfortable enough to wear.

I wore them before my weight gain...and with multiple band extenders when I hoped it was "just a phase" from the pandemic. Well, here's the data anyway. This bra doesn't fit me, but that's not surprising. I ordered a bunch of bras in the wrong size, but this section still needs more data. I am a bit surprised that the band is as tight as it is, but I think that HAS to be because the cup is just soooo small on me. Quad-boob hell. The Elomi Kim used to be my go-to, so I'd love to try it in a larger cup size than this. Unfortunately, it's not in stock right now, so I'll have to wait to see how that goes, but in the meantime, here are the measurements for the measurement gods.

The straps aren't fully adjustable. I don't know why I didn't even realize this. I own three of this bra. I wore them before my weight gain...and with multiple band extenders when I hoped it was "just a phase" from the pandemic. Well, here's the data anyway. The band is comfortable, but I think it would migrate upward if I could crank the straps short enough for the weight of my chest, in the first place, but I can't because they stop adjusting half way through the strap. Having high roots is so insanely frustrating. The wires are too tall on this too, because of the high roots. ... I have much too much projection for this frame. There's so much tissue shoved into the "side support" that it's not able to support the side. Same problems I've always had with this bra. It "worked" enough for me to stop my obsessive search for a bra that fits because I didn't want to get into Polish bras back then, and I'm still intimidated by it. Partly because I've gaslit myself into thinking that my roots can't POSSIBLY be narrow because I keep shoving my breasts into wide wire frames and thinking I have wide roots. Ok, back to this bra. I like how the fabric feels. Same as a lot of other Elomi bras.
