Wow this is a pretty bra! Sadly it is daylight savings time and already dark when I got home from work so no natural light. The pictures don't show the beautiful color. I loved pushups when I was a smaller size and wore VS bras. I couldn't resist the color or the possibility of a good pushup bra. The clincher was it is described as a plunge t-shirt bra.
Idk about this t-shirt bra nonsense but it is a plunge with lace overlay on the cups, scalloped lace on straps and graduated padding along bottom of cup for a "youthful, sexy appearance" Lol! whatever that means although I ...did like the way it looked. The power mesh wings were quite smoothing and I didn't feel like I was bulging out.
I have two major fit issues. The band is very stretchy and I had to start it on the tightest hooks. The herroom.com site recommends going up a cup size but on me they are a bit large in my normal size. The bra is just overall too big probably because the band is too stretchy. It's already boxed up and on it's way back.
This is a great bra, I have this bra in 34H, 36H and 38H. The bra is a plunge with a low gore and the straps are not thick or wide but have a comfortable fabric around them. The cups have slightly thick padding in them that is flat and comfortable. The fabric is plush: straps, band and cups( inside and out). The sizing is similar to LB after DD is E and then G and H. The bra is too small for me now. I give this 7 star's.
I was not expecting much from this. I measured a similar sized bra recently by Curvy Couture and the width of the cups seemed like a no-go. However, (maybe its because of the DEEP plunge?) these wires don't feel unreasonably wide at all. In fact, their extra width isn't even uncomfortable. Which I'm so excited, because that means I can finally pass along the 38F Cacique deep plunge bra that I've been hoarding for my lowest v-necks and wraps.
I think this manufacturer is a real up and comer. The sewing looks perfect. The fabrics are phenomenal. There is a cotton style at South Bay Boobology that is so soft and amazing to touch it makes me ponder ways I might use a wireless bra. The wings on this are a full 26% spandex, and they're double layered.
I was excited when I read, "South Bay Boobology" because I thought it referred to a store in the San Francisco Bay Area, but it's in Torrance. :(
To make it up to me, do you want to post pics of the Curvy Couture Perfect Plunge? And what cotton super comfy bra are you talking about? :)
I am so going back to Bra Garden in September. This time I'm going to tell the lady to bring me all the nipple-showing unlined bras she thinks might work in my sizes. :P
The convertible straps were a little difficult to detach from the back half of the band, but I'm sure it'll stay put throughout the day without coming undone. This is probably a good option for those who are petite or about average height, or have high set breasts as crossing the straps shortens the overall vertical height of the bra.
This bra fits quite snug in the band but very comfortably. The snugness is necessary because there's no underwire. The cups are adequately deep. Given that it's not got the sort of separation construction that a wired bra would, the gore does not in any way tack. The fabric is awesomely soft and it contributes to the sort of supportive comfort that the bra provides. Great lounge or travel bra. Not gorgeous but nicely made - it's like a sports bra with a slight granny feel.
Gorgeous on you!! --even with less than ideal lighting ;-)
