Alright, now that I've had a chance to wear this bralette a couple times, plus make one small change, I'm confident in my assessment of it. My size on paper is 26FF, and my shape is narrow and tall roots, with evenly full, firm tissue.
When I received this bralette, I was surprised at how small the band looked when I took it out of the box (we'll get to that). The colour is more of a turquoise as opposed to a true green (the pics on my bedspread are the most accurate for colour). We'll start with the pros. It is made of extremely soft materials (lace, mesh, ...elastics), it fits me well enough (although the cups are just on the verge of being too small), and is very supportive.
Cons: there were lots of loose threads and one or two random small chunks of the mesh, like trimmings, that were poking out of the bra when I received it. Most of the threads and mesh weren't actually attached, and were able to be freely pulled out of the seams. Next, being a pullover style, it's actually quite snug to get over my shoulders, but it fits well enough once it's in the proper place. I just need to be mindful when taking it on and off. The cups are on the edge of being too small. I get very slight quadboob on my larger side, plus my boobs are pushed together when wearing it, as it doesn't provide any sort of separation. Lastly, the tag was actually a bit itchy when I first got it, but I used my seam ripper to gently remove it. Now the band is much softer and more comfortable to wear.
MORE: The letters they use for sizing are slightly confusing, IMO. I got a Petite, and on the tag it says from top to bottom: P, TP, XP. But there is also an XS size, which would also probably list TP and XP on the sizing tag. Speaking of sizing, the bralette fits me pretty well. I'd say it probably can fit up to a 28 band, but I'd be wary depending on the width of your shoulders. As a 26FF, sister size 28F, this bralette is on the verge of being too small in the cups. It's also quite minimizing, which contributes to feeling well-supported, for better or for worse. The lace on the band extends below the elastic, giving it a sweet scalloped edge. It's extremely soft and doesn't irritate my skin, but it does ride up at the front if anyone cares about that. The cups are made up of three strips of lace running horizontally, so there is a lace edge running along the lower third of my boobs, and another lace edge running just above the apex of my boobs in the upper third. I'm sure this design contributes to the shape and support, but this can create lines under clothing (just another thing to be mindful of).
TL;DR: Very soft, supportive, minimizing bralette with a few minor quality control issues; you may have issues getting on and off if you have wide shoulders. Read more 415 more words
I'm about a 26G and I was thinking about trying a Cosabella bralette. It's good to know it actually works for a 26 band!
I love this bralette to sleep in! I bought size S which is for 32-34 bands so its not as snug fitting and I dont spill over the top (I'm a 30FF or G uk). I don't find it offers enough support even for lounging for my comfort level tho. I agree it's pretty challenging to get on and off, thus why I didn't return for an XS. But overnight sleeping on my back, it prevents the girls to go too far sideways and the colorful lace looks pretty cute too.
Thanks for the excellent review! I especially appreciate the pictures. I've been wondering about the version of this bralette aimed at fuller busts.
I purchased this in the color Fiore. It’s a pretty medium tone ballet pink. The cup consists of a pink stretch mesh with stretch lace over top. There are two darts in the lower, inner portion of the cup. The inside of the cup has a sling. The sling is the stretch mesh folded over on itself and spans from the seam under the arm to the inner center gore portion. The front of the cup gives a deep-V, with the lace extending up to the shoulders. The back straps meet the cup at the shoulder. The elastic straps have a matte finish on the top side with ...the underside feeling slightly brushed. The hardware is the same matching ballet pink color. The front of the band is a strip of elastic that wraps around the whole under bust to the back. The lower portion of the longline consists of the stretch mesh with stretch lace overlay. The back clasp consists of a 9x3 closure.
I was pleasantly surprised at how soft this feels. It feels really good on. If you’re like me and squishy, you’ll get some roll up on the bottom depending on your build but not too bad. It will also depend on how tight you make it. The fabrics used are pretty stretchy and I feel like make a few lumps n bumps where the actual elastic settles into my body fat. I don’t feel this provides a lot of uplift, but is a pleasant change from wearing stretchy tops that just squash your boobs to your body while lounging around. Would I pay full price for this? No. Did I buy this on sale and very satisfied? Yes. Read more 175 more words
so pretty! pink lace - it's singing my song. btw, you're not that "squishy" girl, lol. Body positivity! : )
BraOdyssey It really is a lovely happy shade. They had a lot of other bralettes that come in a wide array of colors, including many skin tones. And thank you. :) I’m still getting used to my new perimenopausal body lol.
Oh I've been wondering about this brand. It's nice to see a review on them. I'm all about the bralettes lately....
Thanks for the review. I was curious about this brand but thought it was too expensive for a bralette. I think you just confirmed that lol. It is lovely though
Now I think I want to try this longline bralette. You're a terrible influence, Happy2BraShop lol!
learningaboutbras Hahaha I know right!? It really is comfy. I’m eyeing some of their other bralettes that fasten in the back. I may add one more to my loungewear rotation.
I forgot to ask, where did you find it on sale?
margesimpson I got this one on sale directly from the Cosabella website for USD $47.50. It was one of the colors they had on sale. They’re normally around USD $85! I also just purchased the exact same one in the same color in a size XS from Amazon for USD $30.40. I just reviewed the XS, but returning due to not fitting. Definitely get it on sale, since I don’t think this is worth $85.
Happy2BraShop thank you, really appreciate it! Can you tell I’m waffling about getting one of these? Haha
margesimpson It really is comfortable. It can be a little tricky getting the back fastened. But once it’s on, it’s on lol. I wore it around while bending over to pick up toys off the floor and didn’t feel like I was falling out. It is very soft. I’m actually looking into their other styles in their curvy range. Since I went with what fit my bust, the band is stretchy. But I figure if I ever had to take it in, it’s a super easy fix.
Happy2BraShop haha, honestly though I’d prefer the hook eye closure than the pull on style. I always struggle with the pull on styles lol
margesimpson Oh man ain’t that the truth! You’ll probably never see me post anything pullover. Several years back I worked out often, and one day I got stuck in a pull over sport bra. Thankfully my teenager was home. She has to help me get out of it lol. I was so ready to just cut it off. Back hooks are an absolute must in my book.
Happy2BraShop I have totally gotten stuck and ripped a pullover getting it off lol
About me: FOB, short roots, centre full, need a lot of immediate projection, somewhat soft tissue, pendulous.
I’m loving this one! Compared to the plungie one I got http://bra.pe/X5qH/, this one is a much better fit in the cups. I find the cups deeper than the plungie, which is odd since that one is medium is this one is small. I did read in a few reviews that this one runs big, I’m glad I got a size smaller. The band is just right for me too. Super comfy yet supportive. It’s still a lounging bralette level of support, but that’s what I wanted.
Again, the ...Italian lace and fabrics are super soft and pretty. This one has 5 hooks in the back. I can’t do a pullover style because I’m scared I’ll rip it, stretch it, or get stuck lol. The cups are lined with a single layer of power mesh and a double layer of power mesh at the bottom and sides of the cups, with two horizontal seams. There is a soft centre gore. The straps have a layer of lace on them.
I got this on sale and there weren’t many colours. I’m hoping they don’t discontinue this one.
*Update* I contacted Cosabella customer service about the issue below, and they were great. They responded very quickly. They offered to exchange and also gave me a discount code for my next order.
*Edit* after wearing this for a while I noticed the top of the hook and eye closure was cutting in uncomfortably. I have never experienced this with a bra. On close inspection, I realized that the hook and eye closure had no cushioning at the top, just a thin satin layer of lover the sharp elastic edges. Arghhh
Addendum: I’m not sure if measuring the soft bralettes are worth it? I feel like the measurements would be very inaccurate.. Read more 209 more words
This looks perfect! That color red is amazing on you!!
Happy2BraShop thank you :) I wish I could return the plungie but I took the labels off, fail lol
Looks really comfortable. I keep seeing ads for this company....I should really check it out.
Wilderness1 actually, I just added some info that may change your mind…:/
margesimpson oh too bad that it has no cushioning! Thanks for the update!
So disappointing. I’m going to try and do some surgery on the bra to see if I can make it comfortable…

I already have the size small, but recently they expanded the sizes for this bralette and I thought I would try the xs since it is closer to my measurements. I like this bralette, it is comfortable and the band doesn't ride up. I think my boobs might spill out a bit once I have been wearing it for some hours and bending over, but I will have to see. Overall I like the fit of this one a lot more than the size small.
Hallelujah, I found a bralette that (mostly) fits! I had been debating trying out Cosabella's Ultra Curvy bralettes for a while, but the high price tag and initial size chart confusion a year back put me off. The sizing for the medium seems to be reasonably consistent with the size chart: the max size recommended for this bralette is a 36HH, and my size is roughly the same volume (32JJ-K). The cups are maybe slightly too small out towards my armpits, and the band could be a bit tighter, but overall, this is very comfortable. While I wouldn't say no to an ...Ultra Curvy + if Cosabella decides to make one in the future for J+ cups, this is certainly workable for now. I'm grateful this is available, as I'm unfortunately sized out of all of Curvy Kate's bralettes. Note (since the "bras that also fit her" seems to be acting a bit weird at the moment): my best fitting bras right now for frame of reference are 32JJ - Elomi » Mariella Banded Bra (EL4420) , 32JJ - Elomi » Sachi Plunge Bra (4350) , and 32K - Comexim » Tara Non Padded Half Cup 3hc Underwire Longline . How would you say the Cosabella in general do re: keeping your boobs out of your pits when lying down? I figure the Sweetie might be better for this shapewise but heard the Racie is less stretchy (and more supportive) and figure the Plungie is too (looks the same only diff straps).
And thanks so much for your excellent reviews! I've not found a better source of info re big cup bralettes! Thorough and precise!
I'd say all three of the Cosabella Ultra Curvy styles I've tried keep my breasts from falling into my armpits. I just spent the last 3 days wearing the Sweetie (1 at work, 2 lazing around at home), and I'm still in place. It's withcraft!
Thank you! That's extremely helpful and exactly what I needed to know!
I’m a bit conflicted about this bra. It doesn’t provide much support for me despite the staggering 9 hooks on the back. But The colour is absolutely gorgeous and the materials are soft and luxurious. It’s definitely comfortable. It is very stretchy so I can hook it on the tightest set of hooks. Putting it on is a chore and I don’t think the longline provides any added support, although it looks nice. I should’ve known better than to try a longline, as it rolls up as soon as I sit or bend probably due to my rib flares and squishiness. I’m not sure if a size down ...would help anything? I know it’s a bralette but I guess I was expecting a pricier bralette to have more support than the cheap ones I usually get. I’ll probably keep it just for the beautiful Color and superb comfort. definitely only for at home wear.
This is my first Cosabella. I wanted one with hooks in the back because I cannot deal with a pullover style. I got it from Cosabella direct on sale and it was delivered within a week (I’m in Canada).
*Edit: this bra is somewhat compressing, so if you have soft tissue like me it likely will squash and minimize. Read more 105 more words
Oh my gosh I LOVE the color!! I tried sizing down and didn’t have very good luck at all! All the fit issues I had got worse. I wish they had a version with just 3 or 4 rows of hooks instead of the 9. It is soft and it is comfy around the house tho. That’s the only reason I kept mine. The hooks are definitely a plus!
Happy2BraShop yeah I’m not going to bother sizing down, I saw your review on that. It is so soft! And the Colour sealed the deal for me :) I saw that they have one with 5 hooks but read that one is even stretchier, and they have only a few colours.

I'm always looking for bralettes that will 1. Actually fit me 2. Give me enough support that I would consider wearing it outside my house 3. Are cute! I was looking forward to trying this one because it is meant for smaller ribcage but larger breast shaped people. The size range still doesn't include my current size, as the S is supposed to fit 32-34 DD-F, and I'm 30FF. But I figured I would try it anyway, as it's a lot closer than the others I've tried. It fits my breasts without spill over, but the band is a little loose and the straps don't adjust all the way, so they're a little loose on me. I may alter it so they are a little tighter. This is always a problem for me on bras that don't have fully adjustable straps. Overall, I probably won't return it, but also probably won't buy another. I think I will wear it around the house and to yoga, but probably wouldn't wear it to work or anything like that.
That looks super comfortable. I don't own a single bralette because I'm never sure what to buy, but this one looks nice. Too bad the band is a little loose though, as I'm fitting closer to 28" these days... a 32 would probably feel too loose now.
Lovely colour on you! That looks comfy
It looks sweet, but I have yet to find a bralette that is actually wearable too in that size range (I'm bigger now, but when I used to be a 30FF)
The fit of this is identical to the M - » Never Say Never Ultra Curvy Sweetie Bralette (NCosabella in Palm Aloe that I previously reviewed--almost perfect except for a miniscule bit of overflow at the armpit. I've been wearing this bralette nonstop for the past 3 days: 1 at work, 2 at home. I finally took it off so I could get some measurements for it. The only downside to this particular bralette is that there are already quite a few loose threads sticking out on it. I'd be more upset if I had paid full price for it, but seeing as I got it more than half off on Amazon, I can't gripe too much. Something I think I forgot to mention in my other reviews of these Cosabella bralettes: while they're very comfortable, they are NOT supportive. My breasts sit lower and bounce more when I walk. I get away with it at work since most people dress casually (jeans and T-shirts), but it wouldn't fly in a business casual office.
I'm a big fan of the Cosabella curvy line, but the original model (Sweetheart) didn't work well with v-neck clothing. They came out with a racerback model but it had too much coverage for me and bothered my neck. Thankfully they came out with this new one which has a v-neck but without the racerback and I love it. It also has hooks which the racerback and sweetheart didn't, which makes it easier to get on and will make it last longer since it can be tightened. Only downside is cup seams in front are pretty thick and are visible under some clothing.
Happy to see Cosabella added another "curvy" sized bralette. It's very comfortable though it has A LOT of coverage which kind of negates the plunge aspect - it still shows under most of my plunge tops. I love how wide the straps are though, very supportive. Also I don't have as much trouble with my nipples showing as I do with many other bralettes because there is a decently thick lining.
This is actually a bralette and it is very nice. Provides just enough of a push up that I can wear it under normal clothing - most bralettes I can't. I love that the straps are extra wide to give more support. The main Cosabella site didn't have this size or sizing info for this size, which is strange. I got it on Zappos which said the XS would fit a 30DD and that seems accurate.
Thank you! This is really helpful. Do you think the XS would be okay or too loose for 28 band?
28 is actually the size most bra calculators give me personally, but I don't usually wear it because I'm a bit sensitive, so I think it would probably fit most 28s
SORRY, I entered the bra in the wrong place. This is style 1301, and the Curvy one is style 1310, I believe. Is that not totally confusing? I'll delete the other review.
I tried this bra because of the ads everywhere. It was comfy enough, but not soft like cotton. I have very sensitive skin, so I will probably just buy a cotton soft bra next time. The shape is not great, but that's to be expected with something not padded and not underwired. It basically gives you your natural shape, compressed.
I looked at the website for Cosabella; if I looked at the correct style, this bra is $70? what? I would not pay this much for this garment. I paid $12.99 at a deep discount store.
I purchased this bralette at the same time as the M - Cosabella » Never Say Never Ultra Curvy Sweetie Bralette (N , as a 34J UK reviewer on another website found that to be a good fit. Since I'm currently wearing a 32JJ-K, I was torn between which size to get, then decided on get both. Unfortunately, the small in this bralette is too small for me. I either ooze out the sides or overflow the middle if I swoop and scoop. I'm debating between hanging onto it in case I lose weight soon or sending it back to Amazon. At least the medium worked for me!
My shape : pendulous, very projected, short roots, narrow roots but wide set, full on bottom, outer full. Wireless bras fit me best in 34DD. I followed Cosabella's sizing which recommends size M for 34-36 DD-F. I don't know what measurements they used for their size guide, but for a real 34DD, this bralette is huge. Everything except the band is too large. The straps are too long even though I'm on the taller side, the cups are much too wide and too high under my armpits, and they're way too tall. The band size is correct, but the cups are about 2 cup sizes too large, maybe even 3. This is such a nice bralette though. It looks beautiful, and the materials are soft and sturdy. If I shorten the straps a bit, I even get some support despite the sizing problem. A great quality bralette made to accommodate projection, but that I can't recommend under 34F. Cosabella needs to seriously revise their sizing table. Especially at this price range, they have no excuse.
I originally reviewed this bralette in size Small, full detailed review found here: http://bra.pe/X5jY/
I purchased this size in the color Fiore to compare to the size Small bralette I currently own. With the size small, the band is definitely big and stretchy and I’ll be wearing the size Small on the tightest set of hooks. I purchased this size XS to see if I could get a better fit. Sadly I did not.
In this size XS it is clearly too small in the bust area and I feel squashed down. This also makes the top pull out making it feel too separate for my boobs. ...I also get quadboob along the upper cup. While the band feels very nice on the loosest set of hooks, the longline doesn’t work well with my torso shape and curves. I get bunching in the back and I have a constant need to pull it down. This lace is very soft, but with pulling on it I feel it would put a hole in it after constant tugging on it. This will be going back. Read more 76 more words
I haven't tried it but I've looked at the Cosabella ultra curvy bras rather than the regular curvy. Then you could get the smaller band and more cup coverage.
WildWolff I’m currently checking out all they have to offer. My biggest thing is needing back hooks. I refuse to pull anything over my head these days lol. Of course, I can always add hooks to the back of any bralette and make it adjustable if I really wanted to.
I have not looked into the brand long enough to realize they didn't have any in the ultra curvy with hooks. I wonder why that decision was made. I really like Bravissimo Zara, I've been looking at Flora and the other bralettes they have but I'm waiting for sales because they are pricey. No adjustable straps though, which I noticed Cosabella does on some models. It's too bad we can't get all the important details on a curvy bralette!
I know! Boggles my mind they wouldn’t extend the same fit details to the ultra curvy bralettes! That’s why I mentioned I’d just see the back clasps on my self. Bra making supply stores carry already made ones in a bunch of colors. Essentially any bralette can have back clasps added. I definitely appreciate adjustable straps. In some brands, straps are too short, in others too long lol. It’s like Goldie Locks and the bralettes.
This review is for the Cosabella Never Say Never ULTRA Curvy Sweetie Bralette in Medium, color Rosetto. My ABTF size is 32G or 34 FF UK. I chose this based on my experience the other Never Say Never styles and their sizing chart.
OVERALL SUMMARY - DON'T TRUST THEIR SIZING CHART.
Band: * Runs a little loose.
Wires: * None.
Cups: * MUCH larger than the 34-36 GG-HH they indicate. Or perhaps it would work better for someone much more full on top or self-supporting. Laying flat, the height is about 10 inches. (I'm not sure how to guesstimate the size this actually is since it's so much larger than I am.)
Straps: * ...The straps are adjustable and very long.
Fabric: * The lace is a little scratchy to me, but not bad. And it's new.
Hardware: * The strap hardware is matching.
About me: very close set (breasts touch), very narrow roots, very projected at the wire, full on bottom, short roots, soft tissue, significant rib flares, narrow shoulders.
FIT
* The band length was looser than I expected. It stretches to 39. I show the sizing guide info below. I like a looser band, around a 34. The Medium runs about a 36 or 38, I think. * With no wires, there is no gore so it's definitely a uniboob bra. * The cups are MUCH larger than the 34-36 GG-HH they indicate. Or perhaps it would work better for someone much more full on top or self-supporting. Laying flat, the height is about 10 inches. (I'm not sure how to guesstimate the size this actually is since it's so much larger than I am.) * The straps are adjustable and very long.
OVERALL IMPRESSION * This is a wonderful option for small band, large cup. Just don't trust the sizing chart. See my other Cosabella reviews for a comparison of the other styles.
FROM THEIR WEBISTE: * Wireless bralette designed for ultra-fuller busts with smaller bands. * Soft stretch, non-sheer scalloped lace lined with power mesh for support. * Sweetheart neckline and non-padded cups. * Pull-on style. * Wide, adjustable, lace and elastic straps. * Lace: 93% polyamide, 7% elastane * Lining: 85% polyamide, 15% elastane * Size Guide (partial): XS is for UK 30-32 G-H, S is for UK 32-34 G-GG, M is for UK 34-36 GG-HH. Lealealea I am 28E/F and it fits me fine, but this isn’t the most supportive version and I bought these for wearing to sleep or around the house. I would recommend the Cosabella NSN Curvy Sweetie in XS if you want something with more support. I’ve tried that style in both P and XS and P is a tight squeeze, so XS would be much better for a true 28F
I'm about a 26G and I was thinking about trying a Cosabella bralette. It's good to know it actually works for a 26 band!
