I purchased this in the color Fiore. It’s a pretty medium tone ballet pink. The cup consists of a pink stretch mesh with stretch lace over top. There are two darts in the lower, inner portion of the cup. The inside of the cup has a sling. The sling is the stretch mesh folded over on itself and spans from the seam under the arm to the inner center gore portion. The front of the cup gives a deep-V, with the lace extending up to the shoulders. The back straps meet the cup at the shoulder. The elastic straps have a matte finish on the top side with ... the underside feeling slightly brushed. The hardware is the same matching ballet pink color. The front of the band is a strip of elastic that wraps around the whole under bust to the back. The lower portion of the longline consists of the stretch mesh with stretch lace overlay. The back clasp consists of a 9x3 closure.

I was pleasantly surprised at how soft this feels. It feels really good on. If you’re like me and squishy, you’ll get some roll up on the bottom depending on your build but not too bad. It will also depend on how tight you make it. The fabrics used are pretty stretchy and I feel like make a few lumps n bumps where the actual elastic settles into my body fat. I don’t feel this provides a lot of uplift, but is a pleasant change from wearing stretchy tops that just squash your boobs to your body while lounging around. Would I pay full price for this? No. Did I buy this on sale and very satisfied? Yes.

      so pretty!
pink lace - it's singing my song. btw, you're not that "squishy" girl, lol.
      Body positivity! : )

BraOdyssey It really is a lovely happy shade. They had a lot of other bralettes that come in a wide array of colors, including many skin tones. And thank you. :) I’m still getting used to my new perimenopausal body lol.

Oh I've been wondering about this brand. It's nice to see a review on them. I'm all about the bralettes lately....

    • 1

Thanks for the review. I was curious about this brand but thought it was too expensive for a bralette. I think you just confirmed that lol. It is lovely though

    • 1

Now I think I want to try this longline bralette. You're a terrible influence, Happy2BraShop lol!

    • learningaboutbras Hahaha I know right!?
It really is comfy. I’m eyeing some of their other bralettes that fasten in the back. I may add one more to my loungewear rotation.

I forgot to ask, where did you find it on sale?

    • 1

margesimpson I got this one on sale directly from the Cosabella website for USD $47.50. It was one of the colors they had on sale. They’re normally around USD $85! I also just purchased the exact same one in the same color in a size XS from Amazon for USD $30.40. I just reviewed the XS, but returning due to not fitting. Definitely get it on sale, since I don’t think this is worth $85.

Happy2BraShop thank you, really appreciate it! Can you tell I’m waffling about getting one of these? Haha

    • 1

margesimpson It really is comfortable. It can be a little tricky getting the back fastened. But once it’s on, it’s on lol. I wore it around while bending over to pick up toys off the floor and didn’t feel like I was falling out. It is very soft. I’m actually looking into their other styles in their curvy range. Since I went with what fit my bust, the band is stretchy. But I figure if I ever had to take it in, it’s a super easy fix.

Happy2BraShop haha, honestly though I’d prefer the hook eye closure than the pull on style. I always struggle with the pull on styles lol

    • 1

margesimpson Oh man ain’t that the truth! You’ll probably never see me post anything pullover. Several years back I worked out often, and one day I got stuck in a pull over sport bra. Thankfully my teenager was home. She has to help me get out of it lol. I was so ready to just cut it off. Back hooks are an absolute must in my book.

Happy2BraShop I have totally gotten stuck and ripped a pullover getting it off lol

I’m a bit conflicted about this bra. It doesn’t provide much support for me despite the staggering 9 hooks on the back. But The colour is absolutely gorgeous and the materials are soft and luxurious. It’s definitely comfortable. It is very stretchy so I can hook it on the tightest set of hooks. Putting it on is a chore and I don’t think the longline provides any added support, although it looks nice. I should’ve known better than to try a longline, as it rolls up as soon as I sit or bend probably due to my rib flares and squishiness. I’m not sure if a size down ... would help anything? I know it’s a bralette but I guess I was expecting a pricier bralette to have more support than the cheap ones I usually get. I’ll probably keep it just for the beautiful Color and superb comfort. definitely only for at home wear.

This is my first Cosabella. I wanted one with hooks in the back because I cannot deal with a pullover style. I got it from Cosabella direct on sale and it was delivered within a week (I’m in Canada).

*Edit: this bra is somewhat compressing, so if you have soft tissue like me it likely will squash and minimize.

Oh my gosh I LOVE the color!! I tried sizing down and didn’t have very good luck at all! All the fit issues I had got worse. I wish they had a version with just 3 or 4 rows of hooks instead of the 9. It is soft and it is comfy around the house tho. That’s the only reason I kept mine. The hooks are definitely a plus!

    • Happy2BraShop yeah I’m not going to bother sizing down, I saw your review on that. It is so soft! And the Colour sealed the deal for me :)
I saw that they have one with 5 hooks but read that one is even stretchier, and they have only a few colours.

I originally reviewed this bralette in size Small, full detailed review found here: http://bra.pe/X5jY/

I purchased this size in the color Fiore to compare to the size Small bralette I currently own. With the size small, the band is definitely big and stretchy and I’ll be wearing the size Small on the tightest set of hooks. I purchased this size XS to see if I could get a better fit. Sadly I did not.

In this size XS it is clearly too small in the bust area and I feel squashed down. This also makes the top pull out making it feel too separate for my boobs. ... I also get quadboob along the upper cup. While the band feels very nice on the loosest set of hooks, the longline doesn’t work well with my torso shape and curves. I get bunching in the back and I have a constant need to pull it down. This lace is very soft, but with pulling on it I feel it would put a hole in it after constant tugging on it. This will be going back.

I haven't tried it but I've looked at the Cosabella ultra curvy bras rather than the regular curvy. Then you could get the smaller band and more cup coverage.

WildWolff I’m currently checking out all they have to offer. My biggest thing is needing back hooks. I refuse to pull anything over my head these days lol. Of course, I can always add hooks to the back of any bralette and make it adjustable if I really wanted to.

    • 2

I have not looked into the brand long enough to realize they didn't have any in the ultra curvy with hooks. I wonder why that decision was made. I really like Bravissimo Zara, I've been looking at Flora and the other bralettes they have but I'm waiting for sales because they are pricey. No adjustable straps though, which I noticed Cosabella does on some models. It's too bad we can't get all the important details on a curvy bralette!

    • 1

I know! Boggles my mind they wouldn’t extend the same fit details to the ultra curvy bralettes! That’s why I mentioned I’d just see the back clasps on my self. Bra making supply stores carry already made ones in a bunch of colors. Essentially any bralette can have back clasps added. I definitely appreciate adjustable straps. In some brands, straps are too short, in others too long lol. It’s like Goldie Locks and the bralettes.
