I have been lusting after this bra since Comexim released it. I love the dark gray and lilac combination. The lilac lace is surprisingly detailed and it has a delicate silvery blue thread woven through it. The quality is lovely. I bought the matching shorts in size small and they fit like a dream. They are a cheeky fit for sure. They are surprisingly lined with dark grey mesh, so they match the bra perfectly, but, are a little thicker than expected.

I ordered this bra in a 65H and asked for the straps to be moved in 2cm and for the gore to be narrowed. ... Compared to my unaltered 60HH Comexim, these changes appear to have been made. I had wanted to try a 65H as my 60HH was a little firm in the band, and I wondered if a 65 would be more comfortable. I think this was a mistake - I can easily wear this bra on the last hook. The other 60HHs I received in the same order fit much better.

While the band is a little too large, on first wear it feels like the cups may be slightly too shallow near the wire. I have a lot more cleavage in this bra than in the 60HH and I speculate that the straps being moved in may have affected the overall volume. I am undecided on whether or not I will keep this bra, it may be a little too va-va-voom for my tastes. The set is non-returnable because of the customization, so it may have to find a new home on bratabase. Although, I do love the design, so I may order another in 60J or a 60HH with increased depth at the wire.

From my experience, the 3hcs fit smaller than the plunges... not sure if that's everyone's experience or just mine...I also found that moving the straps in does make the cup more shallow/fit smaller. Other alterations, such as lowering the gore and adding cookie pockets also made the bra more shallow in my experience (or fit smaller, I can't tell which). The last couple times I have only requested the straps to be moved in 1cm, and the depth is better, though they still don't have a ton of apex depth (which usually works for me). This bra is sure pretty though!

I should clarify on my last comment... I was referring to my 3HCs when I was talking about apex depth... The plunge I tried seemed to have more apex depth (or maybe it was just taller, not sure).

Wilderness1 thanks for this :) It is so helpful to know how the bras fit other users in a similar size range. I will have to try requesting 1cm instead of 2 for the straps.

You may just need a bigger size too (especially if you order a 3HC. I wear a 30F in most bras, but a 65HH in Comexims 3HCs). I find that I can wear a bigger size if I make all the customizations I need. So you could either try only getting straps moved in 1 cm in a 60HH, or you could try a bigger size with the straps moved in 2 cm in a 60J.

While I realize I am in a much higher cup range, from my experience moving the straps made no difference on the cup depth/projection. Where the difference in fit came in was in the fact that the straps were no longer meeting the force of resistance from the arm/armpits, allowing the cups to settle into their natural position. The best way to test the cup with the straps being an issue is to put the bra on but not put the straps over your shoulders. Then do a full swoop n scoop and see how the cups fit and feel without that arm/armpit resistance. (You may need to lift the cups up manually to get them in proper position afterwards, depending on how self supporting your breasts are.) If the cups fit very full (or over full) this way, you will need to size up in the cup to get a good fit.

MamaPagan interesting... I'll have to try that and see what happens....

    • Please do and let me know if you notice a difference. I used to think the same way until I tested the bras this way and realized the cups fit the same with and without the straps moved when those darn arms weren't in the way, haha.

    • This is gorgeous! I agree with Wilderness. I bet you'd get a great fit with a 60J with the straps moved in. And maybe reduced cup height and more depth at the wire.

    • Sonya I will need to try a 60J out - for bra science lol

MamaPagan That was a genius suggestion. I had never considered that you could test cup depth in that way. Without the straps on, the cups are still very full to overfull. Guess I need to size up. Thank you!

    • You are welcome rachaelll. :-)

rachaelll- There is a lot of variation between individual bras too. The 60J I got from you probably has more upper room (and thus fits bigger) than any of my others. I do think you are closer to a 60J than HH.

    • Very valid point Sonya.

Sonya, I was just thinking about that. That bra was so tall - I was worried to order any 60js. But I suppose when you have only tried one, you don't have a sense of what an average 60j looks like. I also wonder in the blue magic 60HH runs a little large, because it fits better than all four of the news ones.

Yes, I would say the Blue Magic (at least that one) runs 1/2 size big.

Sonya everything makes sense now. Thank you for this :) Is so frustrating that bra sizing is so inconsistent across styles.
