I was so so excited to get this bra on eBay, only to discover it is a horrible shape mismatch for me. There is an odd empty space at the top of the cups. This is my size in just about every Cleo or Panache bra and I fill out the bottom of the cup perfectly, so I feel like the size is right, it's truly just the wrong shape.
I was slightly concerned about the band being too snug, as I'm between a 32 and 34, but this fit comfortably. I measured and I can actually stretch it almost to 36!
I have super short roots, and the band of material near the red decoration across the top of my breast floats almost an inch above my chest. This bra would be great for someone with slightly more upper fullness than I have. Unfortunately, even with significant alterations, I don't think I could make it fit me. I'll be listing it. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
This bra is my unicorn bra. It fits perfectly on me- the wires are where they're meant to be, the gore is flat, there's no wrinkling anywhere. I wish I had more, and that it had come in beige. I need beige.
This bra fits true to size in the band and about a cup size large.
I'm somewhat narrow, short rooted, mostly even, and quite projected, and this bra works very well for that.
I have this in a cup size smaller than what I usually wear, and that seems to work pretty well. Because of how the top of the cup is shaped, I do get some odd puckering, but this bra is pretty known for that.
This Meg is absolutely adorable! I love the polka dots. The shape is really round and uplifted like the Parrot and Aqua Lily bras are. I wish these were easier to find and that they came in continuity colors like black and beige. It's comfy, breathable, and provides great support.
This bra is altered and it is MUCH smaller than the measurements suggest. I think it would fit a 26E/F or 28DD/E well because of how small the band is and how shallow the cups fit. The alterations are not noticeable at all, but they are 100% there! Good workmanship for whoever did them originally, but unfortunately not a bra for me.
First of all, I love the look of this bra. I'm normally not a pink girl, but this soft coral/salmon color looks great with my skin tone! The white polka dots look like they were sponge-painted on, giving them a delicate vintage-y appearance. I usually size up to a 32 band in cleos (I wear a 30 in everything else) so the wires don' t get stretched back.
As for the fit:
Meg wants to be your best friend, there to support you from the bottom, sides, AND top. She's also got really high expectations and wants to lift you up where you belong. Like her Cleo sisters, ...she thinks your boobs should be front, center, but she adds in a lot of uplift. This means that the bottom of the cup is a little shallow, and the apex is unusually high. Despite my usual need for immediate projection, Meg works for me. I don't know if its the cut or the material, but she takes my dense boobs and pushes them right up and center. I get some odd wrinkling around the cup (probably strain from Meg pushing my firm tissue around), but nothing is visible under a shirt.
Sadly, I can't quite fill out the top of the cup. Tightening the straps minimizes the issue, but doesn't eliminate it. Maybe my boobs are just a little too firm and won't conform to Meg's expectations. If I take a deep breath and pull my shoulders back, I fill out one side almost perfectly, but the other still has a little gaping, regardless of how I tighten or loosen the strap. I have this in the navy bird print and I absolutely love the way it looks, especially the red trim at the top of the cup. From the front and from a three-quarter angle it looks great, but the side view is a little too Mad Men for my taste. Technically it "fits"; I fill out the cups with only some minor wrinkling at the apex and the sides could be a little bit higher. My boyfriend really likes it so I keep it for him. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
My breasts are almsot even, a little bit FOT than bottom, center fullness. The Lucy fits me perfectly but the Marcie not so much, it was a bad fit as well. So the Meg was recommended as a good bra for even girls at my local store. It was a disaster for me. I just sunk into the bottoms of the cup and with a lot of gaping fabric at the top. As a result the gore dug into my sternum. The band was snug but not overtly tight. The straps don't adjust all the way, just half of the way up. 2 hooks in the back. Its a very attractive bra, thicker fabric than most Cleo bras. Sturdy and high quality material. It just didn't fit for me as an even girl and dug into my center fullness
