I have even to slightly FoT breasts but they are super squishy and slightly splayed. This bra works pretty well for me, being a bit too small but not enough to cause problems. The cups have a little bit of puckering and a little bit of quading as well as being slightly too far apart from each other. The gore width doesn't hurt, only leaves marks that last for days (as per all of Cleo's bras) so that's how I know it's slightly too wide. The colorway I got is super pretty even though I'm not very girly and it being coral and deep, saturated pink. It looks feminine without being high maintenance looking, princess-ey or childish. I still want to try the Lilly in 28F though because the Swan print is super pretty!
After reading the reviews here, I opted to go for a bra that would be one cupsize smaller than my usual size - 28H. And it really fits! I get a teeny weeny bit of quadraboob when I breathe in deeply, but otherwise the top of the bra sits flat against the top of my boob and sometimes it even feels a bit empty.
The front-on shape I get from it is splendid - the bra really puts your boobs out there and all of a sudden, I looked much narrower in the chest area than I usually do, which was a definite plus. The side-view is, however, not ...really that awesome. The shape is a but odd, even though I decided I kind of liked it after a while. But I have to choose my shirts carefully, which isn't the case with my favourite bras.
This is also the first-ever bra in which I've experienced a puckering - I just don't fill in the top front part of the bra properly, even though the top ribbon, only a few centimetres further back, sits firmly on my boob-tissue and cuts in when I breathe in deeply.
All in all, the Meg is truly a beautiful, firm and well-made bra, but its shape is (at least for me) so odd that I can't squeeze myself into the cups. I am keeping this one, but will probably not be buying bras of this cut in the future.
--- EDIT ---
I've had the Meg for a year and I have grown to like it a lot! It makes my boobs look perky and pushes them forward - also, for some odd reason, they actually look smaller.
The puckering hasn't gone away, but I hardly notice it anymore. Also, it must be something about Meg specifically, not the other bras in this shape, because I've recently tried on a Zia, which, in my opinion, is of a similar cut, and there was no puckering at all. Read more 220 more words
The Meg was my first attempt to find a correct fitting bra after wearing only 34DDD's for years. My true size in Cleo is 32G, although I wear a 30GG in Freya and a 30H in Curvy Kate (not sure about Panache or Fantasie yet). So glad to find such a good supportive bra that fits my breasts --- no smooshing or overspill. The Meg fits my shape well (narrow roots, deep projection, soft tissue). I feel uplifted and much narrower (boobs front and center, not sagging under my armpits) with this shaping. I continue to purchase other Cleo bras in 32G, although I had to go to a 32GG in the Juna.
This bra is one of my favorites as the lift is together and up. It has very stiff fabric and cut, so it may not be ideal for very top or bottom heavy boobs. My are fair even and soft.
The band is nice and tight and firm and even after a few wearings, it hasn't stretched out. The straps aren't too wide apart. The gore is a little wider than I'd like. I do best with .5 inches or less, but it's not unbearable.
Very cute print in a salmon color with magenta edging and straps.
WHAT a gorgeous bra! I adore the bird print and the contrasting dark blue and red. In terms of fit, the Meg is ALMOST perfect. The straps are a bit wide-set for me, but not horribly so. The cup width is absolutely perfect, which is thrilling. And while the shape is not quite as hourglass-from-the-front as I was expecting, it's certainly not worth complaining about. As usual, my finnicky, bottom-heavy boobs strike again. I fill the bottom and apex of Meg fine, but the top portion of the cup (above the seam) wrinkles like crazy. Unfortunately, this essentially renders the bra useless as the gaping is very noticeable. I may try a quick alteration to correct this though, b/c I really do love this bra and it seems easy enough. But for girls with more balanced fullness, or bottom-heavy girls who don't mind doing some sewing, I could not recommend more!
This bra is better for full on top shapes. I desperately wanted it to fit my shape, but, unfortunately, I'm too full on bottom for this. The sides are a typical Cleo height, which I think isn't quite high enough for my preferences. It is pretty seamless under clothes, and gives good support for being non-moulded.
The Cleo Meg is the best not-quite-fitting bra I own. I put it in the "not-quite-fitting" category because it's made for someone more heavy on top than I am. It's clear even in this front view shot that there's some gaping going on at the top of the cup of my smaller breast (my left one). But this slight gaping doesn't compromise its support or the way it looks under clothing.
So I'm extremely happy to keep it. The print is gorgeous. I can't believe I didn't find it attractive the first time I saw it in pictures. I wish Cleo would make bras in more prints of ...this type instead of going with dots or other prints that are not as elegant as this one.
Band is very true-to-size and perfectly snug and comfy on the first hook.
To reduce the gaping of the left cup, I have to shorten the left strap quite a bit more than the right one. It's the first time I have to do this to that extent but it works for me.
Placement is good and they're fully adjustable.
I love the red accents! It goes so well with the midnight blue and it gives the bra a little something extra.
I had to use an extender for the first couple of wears, but it "broke in" to a good point for me and has stayed there for several months now of wearing it about twice a week. The top section of the bra only sits flat if I keep my shoulders all the way back, but I still like the shape it gives me (nicely lifted and forward). I feel very supported and secure in this bra, and it's just beautiful on top of that. The center gore is pretty high but narrow, and I like that.
