This bra is in the black colorway. I sized down from my previous Marcie just because I needed to know. This Marcie fits and I have no gapping or quadding on my larger side. Apparently in Marcies I am an HH not a J. This Marcie is still too much bra for me however. The gore is too tall and my breasts push it out, the wings are pretty tall, the wires are too wide. The depth is great here and I do get the "Marcie shape": uber round. I could fasten this one fairly comfortably and usually I need an extender.

Still, I am not impressed with the quality and comfort. It's such a scratchy, uncomfortable, lumpy bra. I'm not sure why I bought another one. I'm sending them all back.

    • cupandahalf, I am just about ready to try 38 sizes now, and *dying* to try Marcie, but after looking over some of the other reviews, I will have to go up to H, I think. :\

I sized down because Marcie is really deep and open on top but if I had tall roots maybe I would not. I have heard the scratchiness gets better over time.

    • cupandahalf , I do not mind open on top -- tall roots up to my collarbone just about. :)

Gotcha. Then your normal size would probably be great! It has amazing depth at the wire and enough at the apex.

Lucy, kali, marcie, thin straps, thin bands, scratchy materials.... Cleo is NOT for me. I want to try a few new styles, but I recall the straps and bands. Permanently deterred.

This bra doesn't work for me at all. Its band feels too small and my breasts don't fill it out at all

It's a pretty 3-part bra with embroidered polka dots, lace, and a comfortable mesh fabric. It got it in the orange colorway.

I used to own one of these back when I was a 38GG. For the most part I liked it, but the Cleo Blake fit me better. Though I will say that the Marcie conformed to my shape after I'd worn it a month or so. The fabric needed to be broken in to adjust to my shape. Unfortunately, this time, I bought a 38HH and should've gone with a 38H. I'm in between sizes right now. Construction-wise, it's a good bra, though I wish they ... offered the Marcie and Blake with a 3-hook closure (I think maybe there's a similar Sculptresse out there with 3 hooks, but I don't remember the name of the line).

I found when I used to wear my Marcie that the gore was a little high for me, but Cleo/Panache gives me the best tack of any US/UK brand I've tried. Most bras won't tack on me because I have close-set breasts (it's a running theme in all my reviews). Cleo always wins as far as a precise tack, though sometimes I wish the gore was a 1/4" shorter.

Since I got the wrong size, I found it chafed a little around the underwire area. And of course, there was a lot of gaping up top. It's a little big for me in the band as well, but the band mostly stayed in place. I took a chance in wearing this bra as I was down to only a couple useable bras, even though I knew the cup was gaping and too big when I got it a week ago. It was an eBay deal, so I got this because I was trying to narrow down my current size.

I'd definitely recommend the Marcie for someone who wants forward projection and narrower wires or for someone with large, close-set breasts who needs a bra that tacks properly. Or, for those of you who love polka dots and sexy, lacy bras!

Underwire too long for me, they poke my armpits and arms. However, the wires are really firm so it should provide great support for someone who fits it. The cups fit great though.
