  1. En Dentelle Lace Underwire Bra (101012005)

    This bra seems entirely designed for someone very full-on-bottom with not much on top, or someone with more on top than I am; I couldn't quite fill out the top of the cup, with the lace wrinkling, but then the top of the cup also cut back in. The lace seems stretchy, though, so maybe someone with more upper fullness could actually fill out the top better than I managed to. The bottom of the cup is definitely deep. It also seemed to give me a rather pointy shape, but again that may be partly because I didn't quite fill the cup out properly.

    While this is a very pretty bra, I have to second the comments someone made about the choice of mesh material. In the cup it didn't bother me, but on the strap it was definitely noticable, and I bet would be very annoying if I wore it any longer than the 5 minutes I had it on.

    • I would GLADLY buy this bra or trade any of my listed bras for this one if you do not wear it! I LOVE Claudette and seem to get along well with all their bras!

  2. Dessous Mesh Underwire Bra (CD2000)

    The first thing I noticed about this bra is that the mesh is nowhere near as soft as Cleo's. It doesn't feel as nice on my skin, but it's not so rough that it's uncomfortable. Just something to be aware of if your skin is particularly sensitive. It's also much more sheer, by which I mean *completely* sheer. And shamelessly fluorescent green! I'm half surprised it doesn't glow in the dark.

    The band is perfectly true to size -- it stretches to exactly 75cm (30in) which is too loose for me, but close enough on the tightest hook. I may have to alter it after like a year, depending ... on how quickly it stretches, but it works for now.

    The 30C cups are definitely too small. The 30D fits much better, I think mostly because the cups are taller, which cuts in less. It wrinkles a bit on my smaller breast, but looks like a decent fit otherwise. I'm also very happy about how narrow the cups are, about 11cm in both sizes https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> Perfect.

    I appreciate the plain black straps, and the fact that the cups are fairly smooth under clothes, because it means I can match the bra with any black panties and wear it with most of my tops. Speaking of panties, I got the matching thong in both S and XS as well (why not?). I would NOT recommend it. The mesh fabric in the XS lies smooth on me, but the black elastic waistband digs in enough to be slightly uncomfortable. On the S, the elastic is just the right level of snug, but the mesh is visibly wrinkly, and the crotch is longer than it really needs to be. Weird. Honestly not worth the matchy-matchy happiness.

    Either way, I'll definitely be keeping the 30D bra and probably the XS thong.

  3. Fishnet Scoop Neck Bra (12012)

    This bra fits like a charm. The wires are just right, if not a touch wide, and the fishnet is actually two layers - one stretch fishnet layer, and one semistretch mesh layer, which gives for some nice support and elasticity. The cups are pretty shallow. I'd guess that this bra is probably going to work mostly for self-supporting boobs like mine, since there wasn't much in the way of support - it was more like a very cute encapsulating sports bra.

    And cute it is! The velvet straps are a nice touch, they are kind of hard but there was nothing uncomfortable about them. The color pops against the black piping.

    There was the occasional wrinkle in the upper section of the cup but other than that practically invisible under most shirts. The band seemed fine on the loosest hook (maybe because of the grippiness of the velvet). Overall it is very dang comfy.

    Update:

    After wearing this bra twice, I have decided to sell it. It is just too wrinkly in the cups on me and I always choose other bras over this one.

    It is kind of a mystery because on paper, the cups should fit me perfectly. I even tried pinning the band tighter to see if that changed anything and it did not. Claudette, if you are going to do this to me, I am rapidly running out of bra options. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    I ordered this bra from the Claudette encore sale directly on the company's website. A warning if you do this, there are no ... returns or exchanges allowed. I might have returned this bra otherwise. I was thinking about selling it here on Bratabase but have decided to keep it for now.
    The 30 band fits a lot looser than Cleo 30 bands. I am immediately fastening this on the tightest hooks.
    After getting used to my 30C - Cleo » Minnie Balconnet Bra (7431) and my 28D - Panache » Andorra Full Cup Bra (5675) , this one has short wires. They do not come up as high under my armpits. This would be a great bra for someone who hates tall underwires or has problems being poked in the armpit with other bras. Also, the cups/wires are narrow on this bra which I need so that is a nice feature.
    The fabric is satiny and soft but brand new/unwashed, this bra has scratchy bits that I don't get with new Cleo bras. Nothing specific but I am feeling mildly irritated by a spot above the left cup and on my right flank. My ancient 30B - Claudette » Paramour Underwire Bra (101015008) doesn't have this so I think it will wash and wear out.
    The cups run a little deeper than Cleo bras but I think that is a function of a similar depth with a narrower wire. I do get some wrinkling in this bra. It fits me best when I am fully-inflated-blowfish bloated and that is why I'm keeping it.
    Also, I think the elastic on the top of the cup is going to make fitting problematic for anyone who has tall tissue. The elastic pulls the top of the cup down and creates more wrinkling. This bra is somewhat of an odd duck but could fit a specific shape really well. The 30B actuallly appears to fit me a little bit better.
    I might eventually alter this down to a 28 band just to see if that does anything for the cup wrinkling. I have an emotional attachment to this brand because the 30B was one of my first almost-fitting bras.
    Edit: I finally measured this. Holy cow, the band stretches to 32"! I really must either sell this or alter the band down. It fits like a 32B.
    This bra is comfortable, as you would expect out of a t-shirt bra, but being essentially unlined it doesn't completely hide things when you are, uh, more nipply. The straps are quite stretchy, which was a surprise as I usually need to loosen straps all the way out -- I actually had to shorten these a bit! There also doesn't seem to be much in the way of actual lifting support, as opposed to just coverage.
    The band is too big for me (I measure 27" snug) -- I had to wear it on the tightest hooks right out of the box, and could still fit my whole fist under the band.
