    Didn't fit

    This bra was pretty blah on looks. I ordered it online, and it appeared to have more solid of material on the bottom half from pictures I saw, but sadly it was thin mesh/lace with only a layer of lace over mesh on the lower portion, with double mesh for side support. So flimsy feeling and very little support overall. Sadly, the single layer of mesh on the very top caught on something and tore a little my first time wearing it. This was through my shirt (which was completely fine), and I didn't notice until I went to take it off that night.

    Aside from the material, it is rather comfortable and the underwire does not poke into my underarm. The cups just barely fit me, and seem to run a tiny bit small on this one compared to other Chantelle bras I have tried.

    Fits

    Absolutely one of my favorite bras.
    Lace does show through under some shirts, but overall rarely an issue.
    Comfort is superior, I love the lift at the bottom of the cup keep my breast tissue way from my body, and how forward-facing the tissue is in the cup.
    It's one of my favorite bras for summer, as it keeps me cool and dry.
    It's my second of the same style, just as happy as my first!

    Hasn't set fit

    My shape is narrow, even, projected with average-to-short roots, close-set with lots of upper-center fullness and soft, saggy breast tissue.
    This is the first time trying Chantelle for me. The Revele-Moi bra feels pretty comfortable, despite the shape not being great for me - the wires are too wide and the cups too shallow. However with the stretchy construction it's comfortable and it somewhat squishes my soft boobs into place like a minimizer, and doesn't provide much uplift or shape. The lighweight mesh would make it a good summer bra.
    A big negative in the fit for me is the wires at the centre gore point away from my chest.

    About this Bra
    This is an expensive, unpadded, seamed, full cup, underwire bra that disappears under clothing despite seaming.

    Purchasing:
    * $72.49 on Amazon with free Prime shipping & returns (not Amazon Wardrobe)
    * available in black, white, and beige plus several fun colors

    Band:
    * Outer layer of stretch mesh over an opaque knit lining. Both fabrics only stretch in the horizontal direction.
    * Wing support: no seaming nor boning.
    * Continuous band - wires lower than wings.
    * Back close with 4 columns of hooks (yes, 4).

    Straps: smooth elastic, full adjust, leotard back

    Cups:
    * 3-seam (4-piece) full cup
    * side support built into cup
    * unpadded, stiff, twisty underwire
    * Inner and outer, top edges of ... cup are edged with elastic. The outer cup edge elastic is less stretchy than inner and continues to the top of the band.
    * Top panel is black mesh that stretches horizontally only (unlined).
    * Outer (side support) panel is made of the same black, horizontal stretch mesh and lined with a beige non-stretch opaque knit.
    * The lower inner panels are both constructed of black, non-stretch lace over a beige non-stretch mesh lining.
    * Soft cups (no padding or molding).

    About Me: petite with wide horizontal oval, slightly conical breasts
    * average projection
    * average-set (one finger width of space between breasts)
    * very wide roots (extend past the mid-axillary line)
    * even horizontal fullness (just barely outer full)
    * short root height, average vertical placement
    * mix of firm & soft tissue (front molds to shape of bra, sides push wimpy wires away)
    * conical shape (but will squish to round)
    * full on top (2/4 shape, not even or very full) - BUT functionally even to FOB due to short roots and soft tissue
    * petite (5'3") so have narrow frame
    * front (anterior) rib flares

    Fit

    Band:
    * length: stays in place with wear
    * wings: too short, boob escape

    Gore: Tacks. Height & width fine.

    Straps:
    * Feel wide but don't slip.
    * Adjust short enough.

    Cups:
    * Wires enclose tissue nicely AND keep it inside cup.
    * Quad boob.
    * Shallow at wire. (But the snug band keeps it from sliding down chest.)
    * Apex fits. (Not too shallow, too deep, nor off-center.)
    * Give a wide, oval shape.
    * Nice strong, supported wires. Tissue doesn't sneak behind wire with movement despite the cup being too shallow.
    * Tail of Spence is enclosed after scoop & sweep, but pops out after any movement. Once out, cup cuts into.

    Assessment & Plan:
    * Cups too shallow. Try +1 cup size with same band.
    * Update: This is the largest cup size on this band. The larger band rode up. Give up on this model.

  6. Purchasing: $80 on Amazon, non-neutrals available

    Band:
    Continuous with two layers of stretch mesh and elastic at top of band.
    Wing support: None.
    Back close with 4 columns of hooks.
    Fit: Too long (rides up). Wing height just barely tall enough. NO axillary skin spillage.

    Gore: Comfortable, tacks, good spacing

    Cups: Full coverage with 3 seams.
    Most is non-stretch lace with stretch lace at the top edge.
    The non-stretch lace is lined with a soft, non-stretch mesh. The top stretch mesh is unlined.
    Unpadded underwire.
    Gives a pleasantly round shape.
    Fit: Just barely wide enough to contain all breast tissue. Smooth line on the top of the cup (likely due to the stretch lace in this ... portion). Slight wrinkles just above the wire (slightly too much immediate projection for me).

    Straps: smooth elastic, full adjust, leotard back

    Fit under clothing:
    Not smooth under tight tee (despite marketing claims that it is).
    Not visible under v-neck.
    Barely visible under tank (shows with movement but not at rest).
    The nude outer with pink lining is absolutely invisible under a thin white shirt (on my medium Caucasian skin tone). This is my go-to bra under white summer tops.

    Band:
    * Outer layer is a black stretch mesh. Inner layer is a beige, nearly opaque stretch knit.
    * elastic at top of band
    * no seaming nor boning for wing support
    * continuous band - wires lower than wings
    * back closure
    ** 4 columns of hooks

    Straps:
    * smooth elastic
    * soft (don't stand up on their own)
    * full adjust
    * leotard back

    Cups:
    * 3-seamed (4-section) full cup (center pull straps) ...
    * unpadded underwire
    * The top panel is made of a black mesh that stretches vertically much more than horizontally. Unlined.
    * Outer panel of cup (side support) is made with a black mesh that stretches horizontally much more than vertically (opposite of the top edge of the cup). Lined with BEIGE, semi-sheer, non-stretch knit.
    * Rest of cup made with a non-stretch black lace and lined with BEIGE, non-stretch mesh.
    * soft cups (no molding or padding)

    Cups:

    * cups too narrow
    * smooth line at top of cup (only because so much breast tissue is sitting outside the wire, pushed out by too small cups and too long band)
    * wrinkles at bottom the cup, breast pushing wire down looking for more projection (not enough immediate projection at the wire)

    Straps:
    * feel far apart but don't slip
    * adjust short enough

    Appearance under Clothing:
    * Seams visible under T-shirt.
    * Cup edges hidden by V-neck.
    * Very visible in armholes of sleeveless shirt.

    Comfort & Fit Summary
    * band too big, cups too small
    * try FR 80H (UK 30FF) to be one size down in band and one cup volume up

    Good: this bra has almost everything I like and need. Light material with moderate stretch, cups neither too wide nor too tall, comfortable straps, natural rounded shape.
    Not so good: price. Lace (but it's geometric, so a bit more to my taste).
    Very similar in fit, comfort and shape to the Chantelle Saint Michel Back Smoothing (2721) (which is the one I'll keep because it was half price).

    Even though this bra doesn't tack and requires occasional adjustment throughout the day, it is my favorite bra I've encountered so far. It gives an up front rounded shape which is what I prefer. I should try this in the next cup size up I think. No padding, sheer cups that aren't very stretchy.
