This was part of my first purchase after getting properly measured. It really is a good looking bra, and it looked great in the fitting room. The rep helping me thought it fit well, too. However, once I got home and wore it for a full day, I realized that the extra netting on top of the bra was disguising a poor fit. The netting clings to the top of the breast, and hides the fact that there was wrinkling on top. My breast was not filling the top of the cup. So, if you are interested in this bra, make sure to pull that extra netting down a bit and check for fit. Don't be fooled by the pretty design like I was!
This was the first bra I've tried with my new size and it fits better than my current bras as far as band goes but I think I have minor quadboob forming at the top of the cups.
I think the quading is quite obvious, that will show even more under a fitted tshirt or similar material, you need a bigger cup or a bra that is more open on top. ☺
I agree with Jannie—that's *really* obvious quadding! She gave you the same advice I would...but at least you are more comfortable with the band. It's a start!
(Too bad, because it's a pretty bra for an everyday...)
- Tight back is excellent for a small person like me - lace detailing is so cute! - perfect for lazy days, I love wearing scoop back shirts so the lace can show! - smooth, lovely under t-shirts - straps are wonderfully adjustable - Can you beat $5?! - such soft cups, so comfortable!
Cons:
- The bottom of the cups are a bit weird but it's workable! Could have something to do with my shallow breasts.
Overall the bra is a little wide, cuts into my underarms where the strap and cup meet. There is some gaping at the cup. band is comfortable and seems to run true to size.
Now that I have gained a little weight, this bra actually fits somewhat better than it once did. In the past, filling the cups of the 30DDD was a bit of a feat. Now it is quite smooth without quad boobing and gaping.
One thing I don't appreciate is the stiffness of the underwire. The gore pokes at my sternum quite uncomfortably, and the wires squeak every time I make a move. I wore a cotton ball at the gore for months to lessen the discomfort and it still remains painful after extended wear.
The band is firm, but quite comfortable. This would be a go-to bra if it weren't for the painful gore.
This bra is actually about the perfect fit for me. I just don't like the shape it gives me. I like to have a more rounded, open top. I feel like this bra is too flat and closed on top. Other than that preference the band is a bit tight, but I can fit fingers in there (it's brand new). Cups fit well.
Cup cut: the arm hole cut too high, causing pectorals to push them down where the pecs meet the arms. This pushes down the underwire so that it no longer sits at the inframammary fold.
Band: a little on the long side. Started out with the innermost set of hooks
I'm learning that any bra with high cut sides (not necessarily the wings, but the side of the cups) doesn't work for me. It's not quite that the wires are too long and high but the arm hole of the cup is too high/wide, causing my arms to push down the underwire/cup.
The wire itself may be a little wide and flat because I also find the center gore digging into the bottom insides of my breasts. In other words, the gore is too wide not at the top but at the bottom.
The band is a little on the long side, so I'm already starting off on the second set of hooks.
I bought this bra because it was pretty and on sale, but knowing it may not work for me. It is a little small, but it's passable if I swoop and scoop a little less than I would with a normal bra. The lace is soft and doesn't chafe under my arm with is wonderful, and so far, seems not as common. The straps don't adjust quite as short as I would like (which may be why there is no chaffing, but the lace is still softer in general).
Tried this bra in so many different sizes, none of them fit. It's official: it's just the wrong shape for my breasts. Issues with this size: gapping on inside edges of cups near the gore, but quadboobing around the outside edges. Gore too high, straps slightly too wide. Boo hiss. I wanted this one to fit SO MUCH.
Alas, it seems as though this bra did not get scaled properly. The 30DDD has an absurdly wide gore: I have yet to experience trouble with bras that are renown for wide gores, but this takes the cake. I believe the main culprit is the front closure in this situation. Then the cups are so wide they practically stretch to my back. This bra does have a very tight band, so I would recommend it for any sub-28's in a smaller cup size. I did try this bra in a 30DD, which seemed to fit adequately save for some quad-boobing which may not pose an issue for someone with less shallow tissue than I.
This is a decent bra if you can get it a cheap price. The band starts out realllyyy stretches and also stretches out quickly, so size down in the band if you can. It is a very comfortable and silky smooth bra that is perfect for everyday wear. Unfortunately on me it kind of gave a flattened shape, but that may have been because it was too small.
My breasts are shallow (as in my breast tissue starts up high, not that my breasts have no projection) with narrow roots. The vertical seams and almost horizontal top of the cup are a really good fit for the shallowness, but the wires are too wide for my freakishly narrow roots.
It is a comfortable bra, though the band doesn't seem to have a lot of give when it's new (this is my 3rd bra of this style, my size keeps changing due to tissue migration), so I know it'll get softer, and stretch out a little bit. It creaks, but that just makes me laugh.
Soft, molded cups, feels comfortable. Padding at the bottom is very light. Color is a darker nude, lace trimming is not noticeable under semi-fitted clothing.
Update: The band fits best for me on the last hook, so the band is a little big. Otherwise, fantastic.
I think the quading is quite obvious, that will show even more under a fitted tshirt or similar material, you need a bigger cup or a bra that is more open on top. ☺
