This bra is great from so many points of view - the shape (perky but not pointy), the low wires on the sides (finally!!), the firm band.

Beautiful bra with the floral design over mesh cup lining (I think this is in gg+ cups per the Bravissimo description). It reminds me of the Freya Offbeat soft lace, but this one has more cup support than the Offbeat. The straps are not wide and are long enough for me, but there wouldn't be enough extra to put into a j-hook if that was an option. The cups are slightly too wide for me, but it doesn't compromise the fit. The band fabric is less stretchy than some other brands, which I feel I need for my shape and size.

Although Bravissimo say this is based on Alana, it has a totally different shape, much more forward and central - so I love it!

I like the color of this swimsuit, and there are advantages to a tankini if you want your stomach covered but don't want the hassle of a one-piece when it comes time to go to the bathroom. Unfortunately, the tankini top constantly rolls up, exposing my tummy. If I wanted that, I would have gone with a bikini! I don't recommend it if covering your stomach is your intention. It is also very obviously contains a bra. I prefer a swimsuit where it isn't so obvious - one where the seams of the bra aren't visible from the front.

But I needed a swimsuit ... to replace one which was about five years old, worn, and many cup sizes too small, and of the ones I ordered, this one fit the best, so I kept it.

I find the band a bit looser than other Bravissimo bras like the Fleur and Contour strapless, but similar to the Satine and Rococo charm. This is my standard size in most bras.

Note: I am writing this review in January, 2013, several months after the swimsuit was purchased. I have given my initial review and fitting comments based on my notes about the fit of the swimsuit near the time of purchase. Since the swimsuit was purchased, my breasts have grown and the swimsuit no longer fits properly. Below are my comments on the current state of the swimsuit:

I haven't worn this swimsuit since my breast growth because it is winter. I expect when I do I will have quad-boob.

Update, 2014: I wore this in the summer of 2013 and was disappointed by the way the tankini kept floating up whenever I was in water. It really needs snaps or hooks to attach it to the bottoms. What's the point of a tankini that exposes your stomach? I may as well wear a bikini! I dislike this swimsuit so much that I already replaced it.

I love how high this bra is in the front - I can bend over and not fall out or show a bunch of cleavage. Since it's not wired, my breasts are sitting next to each other. It doesn't lift like wired, encapsulated sports bras, but I'm not looking for that with this one. This one compresses a bit more than others, and I don't need to worry about a lot of bounce, or worry about my workout tops not fitting properly. I do have to use an extender for one to two extra row of hooks, and I think going up to the next band size might adversely alter the fit. After wearing for many workouts, I prefer this bra to the panache wired as it’s much narrower in the cups and doesn’t add extra padding.

Nice sports bra for my omega shaped breasts, but it fits a lot smaller than the Lacey Floral bra I recently discovered and love. It fits better with an extender when I wear upside-down, telling me I should go up one band size. The top of the gore does not sit flat on me, so I might also try going up one cup size along with up one band. The cups are also strained, so that extra room might really help. I'm not sure if this bra will be good for high impact as the cups seem very independent, but I'm looking for another great sports bra that's not the Panache Wired Sports... that one has too-wide straps that I deal with but it's still not comfortable for longer than a couple hours.

  8. Petit Beau Bra (LN198)

This 34H - Bravissimo » Petit Beau Bra (LN198) is by far the best-fitting bra I've ever had, and the most supportive. The gore tacks and is perfectly sized, the lace lies flat, it looks almost painted on, and it's wonderfully comfortable. I miss it when I take it off!
It's really nice to find a deep enough bra; I can't get the gore to tack on most bras (for instance, @Clara bras by @Panache, in this or other sizes; most other bras also feel a little too wide). I can also get the (tiny) gore to tack on a 34HH - Bravissimo » Satine In Bloom Bra (LN217) , but I prefer the shape and support I get with the Petit Beau bra.

The color scheme is kind of nice and the overall pattern ok, but everything else is fantastic.

When I started my bra fit journey, Dotty Spot was the first bra to ever fit me well. Fast forward several years and a bunch of weight lost, and I had high hopes when I finally decided to order it again (it's been the first colorway I've found at all cute since the old blue/red combo).

Sadly, it didn't work out. It's a very tall bra, and in my current size, with primarly FoB to Even breasts, I can't fill the top of the cup. I'm between band sizes as well, and think I would have been better off to take my smaller one, here, which is becoming the new norm for most UK brands.

I may eventually have to try it again, but sized down a cup from my normal Bravissimo size. For now, I will have to admire it from afar.

I got to try this swimsuit out in the water yesterday and it was great! Mr. BF immediately informed me of how great I looked in it when I came out of the change room, and I felt very comfortable in it as we raced up the hill and down the water slides, despite my shadow looking like it had boobs bigger than head. Are shadows quite accurate?

It's pretty tricky to put on. I have to pull it on over my head, down to my chest, and then lift one boob at a time into the cups. Dealing with two sets of hooks and eyes, one coming off ... one going on was difficult and sweaty work, so I opted to not change out of the suit after swimming and threw my shirt and shorts on over it. During the hours that followed I found that the wires were too wide and dug in like many of the Panache bras I own.

One final note, I'm very glad the bottoms I received were of the fold-up-or-down variety as without the bottoms folded up, my bottom roll of fat would have been hanging out under the top. Other reviews I've read have indicated that this is a common problem with this particular swim top.

Cute. Nice color. Quality seems very good. Very simple suit.

Just plain too big in the cups for me. Wire width is fine, though. One side seem wider than the other. This may be a manufacturing defect or just a fluke or something. I tried to average the 2 cup widths for the measurements.

Coverage over the stomach is a bit tight and short for me. I probably prefer my bands on the tight end of the spectrum, so I may have to size up for swimwear so that the rest of the tankini fits me more flatteringly. I'm assuming that if it gets wet, though, that it will stretch ... a bit. I only tried it on a few times to ascertain what size would work best for me. The back is also too long for me, but this is typical for commercial sizing + my body. If you have a lower back dip + a sticky-outy-type butt + narrower/deeper frame like me, it might also be too long in the back.

The medium bottoms I got with it are a little small on me still. Would probably fit me in about 6 months given my current trend in weight loss, but right now they're too tight. Would need a large to fit over my bum/hips.

very supportive bra but as day wears on my full in the middle boobs try to escape over the center gore giving slight overboob right in the middle. this is very slight, doesnt really show through clothes, and doesn't affect how safe I feel in this bra. I wear a 34 and maybe should go to a 32, however I have never had a wire pop out of the end ( I have worn one of these so much I wore away the wire covering in the middle of the wire), and am reluctant to size down as wonder if that would put the wires under more strain and so make them pop. My current 2 are 6 months old and still look good. I usually machine wash!

This is a gorgeous bra. The shape is nice and uplifted. It also doesn't give the torpedo shape but nicely rounds all your breast tissue.

Its very comfortable in the band. It has built in side support panels which I really like.

Everything is very well made and very comfortable to the skin.

The only problem I have is the gore doesnt sit flat. It sits one fingers width off my sternum but that could be because my cleavage is pretty deep.

Overall I want more bras like this. It fits, give amazing shape and lift, and its very pretty as well.

This review is about the original Inspire Sports bra, which was taken out of production due to issues with the straps.

The bra doesn't appear to go high enough to encase all the breast tissue. I tried a larger cup size (34HH) but it looked the same on the top but with extra space at the bottom of the cup. The gore on the bra has never appeared as if it lies flat, but this doesn't seem to be a problem. The bra prevents movement quite effectively for the breast tissue it encases. It is the best sports bra I have ever tried in this regard. The ... top bit of my breast still bounces, though.

The sliders on the bra straps don't hold in place well, which is the reason this bra was removed from the market. (There is supposed to be a new release with the problem solved.)

I find the band a bit looser than other Bravissimo bras like the Fleur and Contour strapless, but similar to the Satine and Rococo Charm. This is my standard size in most bras.

Note: I am writing this review in January, 2013, several months after the bra was purchased. Get this bra if you are full on top, but not if your fullness is primarily on bottom. The shape is similar to the Curvy Kate Tease Me, although higher at the gore as well as the wing. This suits me surprisingly well but would be a deal breaker for many.
The lined, 3-part vertical seaming construction gives me great lift & support.
The straps are very wide-set, which doesn't bother me except it limits wearing with some sleeveless tops. The straps are also quite wide, but they are comfy.
I bought it on eBay, and tried it on several times, but I really need to size down in the cup. It's probably true to size.
The band seems true to size and feels good.
The clasp is 3 hooks (angels sing).
Final analysis: I will be stalking this and all similar styles in 34GG.

The lace of this bra doesn't lie flat, which seems to be a design feature. The diagonal seam appears to bisect the breast tissue when my arm is raised.

The color in my pictures (on the wooden table) is not very true to life for the black/pistachio version. It always looks like an olive green in pictures, but it is actually a very pale green.

I find the band a bit looser than other Bravissimo bras like the Fleur and Contour strapless, but similar to the Satine. This is my standard size in most bras.

Note: I am writing this review in January, 2013, several months after the ... bra was purchased. The band on this bra has not stretched significantly while I have owned it; I can still wear it on the loosest hook.

Update (February 2013): I have now had to move to the second set of hooks, about 4.5 months after purchase with wearing it about twice a week and handwashing after every time it was worn.

This bra was obviously way too small in the cup for me. I really loved the look of it once it was on, though, and it felt very sturdy. (though how much of that was due to massive compression is anyone's guess.) the materials felt really quality, and I absolutely loved the comfort of the straps. The band felt tighter to me than the same sized pinkish rococo charm, but that could also be a difference in cups, not sure.
