Didn't fit

Oh wow... I thought this would be a no-brainer perfect fit. But alas, it was anything but.

I have the Demi Diva as a 32GG, and while the shape is just fantastic, it's too large in the band and just the tiniest bit too small in the cups, so a 30HH would probably be just perfect. Judging from the pictures, I assumed the Demi Diva and the Mademoiselle had the same cut, so I ordered the Mademoiselle in 30HH.

The only things I do like about this bra (on me) are the overall appearance – it's gorgeous! – and the wonderful flat, broad straps. That's it.

First of all, the wires (and thereby cups) are CRAZY wide; the wires almost reach my backside?!

Secondly, the cups are also very, very shallow, which usually isn't a problem for me since I don't have that much projection for my size but am rather shallow myself. With this bra, however, it just doesn't work. The shape looks quite round in the picture, but in real life it's... squished somehow. The bottom of my boobs aren't round at all, just flat. And, thirdly, the cups are very high as well, so they don't actually leave that much space for the full-on-top business to happen. I get a strange mixture of quadboob and the lace poking outwards from the skin.

So the overall shape is kind of flat and cone-like at the same time. It's really difficult to explain (and to photograph), but it doesn't look flattering w/ or w/o clothes.

Fourthly, the too-high and too-narrow cups also leave me with a feeling that I can't get the cups to sit high enough on my chest. The whole thing kind of slides down and almost wrinkles at the bottom. I just don't have enough room on my chest for this bra. Fifthly, that the band is slightly too tight doesn't exactly help with this problem (but could of course be easily fixed with an extender, were it the only problem... which it obviously isn't).

And that's not the only problem with the band (sixth problem). It curves UPWARDS. Wtf? To make 100% sure that you get back fat rolls?

Sigh. I would SO have wanted an unpadded, slightly minimising bra, and I was SURE this would be it... But clearly I was dead wrong.

This bra is not owned any more
