Trying tailored clothing
A relative of mine who is abroad, has just told me that there is this tailor who will make cheap clothes from a picture of the garment + measurements of the costumer, and my relative offered that I could send some pictures, and measurements, and she'd bring them down there and see what the tailor could do. So right now, I'm surfing around for dresses and tops I would like matched to my measurements! And, it strikes me as really difficult :b Usually, all my criteria are based on whether it will fit my body "nope, can't do empire-cuts, it would sit on my boobs", "need A-line shaped tops and dresses, or it will never fit over my hips", "can't do an unstretchy fitted sleeve, will never get it on", "that is cut will be way too baggy on my middle-section" etc. so I never really look for what I like, that comes 2nd ("This could maybe fit. And it's not ugly, let's try it out"), so I don't really know what to look for! haha, first world problems xD Right now I am browsing Asos and H&M, but I guess I could also send pictures of designer-clothes etc. I just don't know where to look. I think I would like a Peplum top, since I have otherwise discarded that trend, because I figured I'd never find one that fits. Same goes for blazers!
If you could have something tailored, what would it be?

I did know a place which tailor-made clothing at a reasonable price several years ago (it's gone now), and then I used it to get some button-down shirts. Now that I have more clothing options (via BiuBiu and Urkye), button-down shirts still top the want list since I'm out of the sizing chart with those.
But if I had somebody who could actually take my drawings and make clothing which fit my body at a price I could afford, I'd get a lot more creative. I have tons of sketches of stuff I'd want.
If it is a success I hope you'll let the rest of us know about this option...
I would loooove to have a really elegant three-piece suit. Those cost a ton to get tailor-made, though, usually. :/
When I was in China I got myself two tailor-made qipao dresses- they're amazing. Definitely worth the three fittings it took :P
