Which is the best way to find bras when using the "Search" option? By "Breast Perimeter" or by "Cup Depth".
Also I have two bras one is a 30D and the other a 32C. The depth measure the same at 7.0in but the 30D not only quads it also squishes me flat. The only real difference is the band of course is tighter on the 30.

  • The bare-minimum basics in my opinion are

    Stretched band
    Cup width
    Cup depth

Using cup depth alone will tell you how much space is in the bra cup, but it will not tell you if that space is located somewhere that your own breast tissue can fit into it. For example, I have narrow, projected ("sticking out") boobs and all of my breast tissue is on the front of my torso. A cup that is 5.5" wide or so allows all my breast tissue to fit right into it, so if that cup is 10.5" inches deep I'm going to get a good fit. However, if I try on a 7" wide cup, even if it is 12" deep, I may actually quadboob out of it terribly, because a lot of its depth is on my sides where I have no breast tissue, so that space is no use to me.

Using breast perimeter and other body measurements is dicey because it will put you at the mercy of the infinite variations in breast shape, firmness, etc. as well as people's perception of what fits or does not fit them in the cup (which can be WAY off). Granted, when you search by measurements for the bra, you are also at the mercy of Bratabase users' measuring skills, but most people get the hang of measuring a bra cup or band quicker than they develop a true instinct for perfect cup fit!

  • There is an explore option to browse through bras by variating these numbers

Go to any bra you want to start with and then you can start playing with those.
