The Lingerie Brand Guide is Finally Here!

My last three weeks has been spent scouring About pages, retail pages, and internet reviews to create my Lingerie Brand Guide! It's a collection of the top lingerie brands, highlighting their price points, size ranges, and a brief write-up about sizing recommendations and fit as well as a little bit about the company. Feel free to have a look-see, and tell me anything you'd like to see improved, some things I did well, general comments, and any brand or fit recommendations you'd like to see included! Thank you :D

  • I think Freya has gotten much snugger with their bands. I have an older Freya 28 band that fits with an extender on the second set of hooks and my hooks on the 2 set of hooks on the stretchy extender. When I tried on some Freya's the other day as well as my relatively new 32F deco, I found the 32s felt true to size, if a tad tight.

Additionally, speaking for older Curvy Kate unpadded styles, I would say they are pretty good for full on top because the bottom part of the cup is not terribly projected. I would say they are deep in smaller sizes and shallower in larger sizes (though they've definitely improved with their recent collections). Their showgirl style bras are extremely shallow.

Fantasie has medium projection and is good for even to full on bottom breasts in their 4 part full cups. In smaller sizes, their wires are narrow and tall.

Claudette has extremely soft narrow wires, very loose bands, they run nearly 2 cup sizes small, and they seem to work best on full on bottom breasts.

Elomi has wide deep bras that tend to work better on full on bottom breasts. I hear they have pretty sturdy wires and fabrics.

Parfait runs tight in the band, about a full size small, they have shallow cups that work for even breasts, and they have tall wings.

Masquerade runs tight in the band, tend to make cups that work well on full on top breasts, they have tall wires on the sides, and are somewhat shallow. They are luxury and have pretty soft materials.

Wow, I didn't mean to type this much. I hope this was helpful! Feel free to add this, I want there to be as many resources out there as possible.

  • Awesome observations, both of you! Thanks for the info!
