Trying new things
So, I recently stumbled across The Butterfly Collection in my perusal of the internets, and based on the info their Bra Size calculator [http://www.butterflycollection.ca/bra-size-calculator/] gave me, I've been looking at different bras. According to them, with a 29" underbust, and a 37" bust, I should try a 28GG or 30G. While this seems pretty wild to me, I'm totally willing to branch out and give it a try. That is, provided I can find something for a reasonable price in that size. (I DO NOT want to spend $120 on another bra that /seems/ to be the best fit out of the 20-25 I tried on that day, only to feel as though the fit is all wrong less than a month later.) I've got my eye on http://www.butterflycollection.ca/charlotte-dusty-rose-by-parfait-6901/, though I'm holding off on getting it just yet. My first foray into online bra purchasing however, is http://www.brastop.com/fulfilled-beau-bra-animal-print which, at the time of purchase was on sale for £12.00, which makes the conversion (including £6.95 shipping) a modest $30.58 Canadian, roughly 1/3 of what I paid for the other one. Based on the reviews on the site, I went up a band size and ordered a 30GG, hopefully it fits. Serendipitously enough, the shipping estimate of up to 14 days, puts the delivery date around my birthday. Happy birthday to me, here's a fun new bra to try. Given as I've never done anything quite like this before, I'm more than a little apprehensive, but that's part of the fun of trying new things, right? Also, regardless of whether it fits or not, I should hopefully have a review of it up within a couple days of receiving it, so everybody wins~
OOOH, side note! Bra Stop is having a sale right now, until Sunday night if anyone sees this before then. (That's how I scored such a rockin' deal)

Edit: I should really have finished going through all of the bras listed before placing my order because they also have the Freya Totally Tartan Half-cup bra listed (It looks super cute and all of the reviews of it here on Bratabase have been nothing short of fab), and I really don't want to pay shipping again to get another bra shipped out. Ah, well, it has been added to my wishlist, and I'll know better for next time I guess.

Take a look at the bra band project. There you can see some women who are correctly sized, and I think you'll see that 28GG is "a bit larger than average". Women who would really fit a GG are often wearing a DDD several band sizes too large.
That's crazy~
I mean, I understand conceptually how this sort of thing works, I guess I just had a hard time applying it to myself.
I searched 28GG on the Bra Band Project website, and you're right, all those women seem to have breasts that are roughly the same size as my own.
