Ribcage Changes and Problems

So one problem lately that I didn't have about 5 months ago is that is the underwires of most bras I try are uncomfortable on my ribcage, especially when I sit down. It's almost like it's too low...and will often be this way even if I pull it up...I've noticed I have this problem with shallower cups only. With the Ewa CH,I don't have this problem and it's still my most comfortable bra to date despite the straps that aren't so great. It seems like Ewa really is my brand, which I am half happy and half not happy about.Only unhappy cause it's so expensive and they rarely pop up in my size.Happy cause I do love the colors and prints they use.Was thinking maybe the S style would really work well for me since it says it's especially designed for for a similar problem.

I'm going to be working on losing a little weight through exercise to get back to where I was (I hate winter and cold),and that should help a lot.But what seems to have also happened is my ribcage got larger and sticks out more?Like...not just that it has a bit more padding now,but it changed size or shape? Not sure if it could just be cause of the weight,or if it's changed for good.

  • If it only happens with shallow styles, the bra probably is sitting too low. Often with FOB or firm boobs, one may not even be able to pull the wires up where they need to be, much less keep them there. Also, discomfort can be exacerbated by a rib cage that widens below band level.

  • I've noticed changes in my underbust related to my posture. So when I'm sick it gets bigger and when my boobs are well supported it gets smaller.
