i'm pretty new to this bra journey...apparently i've been wearing the wrong cup size. i've been wearing a c instead of a dd.

i have scoliosis which causes me to have uneven shoulders and i lean more to one side (as visual proof, my back rolls are uneven). i've read that it's best to wear wider bands and that longline/posture bras are good. as far as the wider band, it's so hard to find for dd cups :(

i'm also short (4'11") so i always have to tighten my straps a lot.

i also find that the gore isn't really on my sternum, it's usually below it, and my underwires rest on my ribcage, not at my root.

my breasts are also wide-set (3-4 finger width), bottom heavy, and higher (the space between my root and underarm isn't very long), and i'm still figuring out my root, but i think i'm average/narrow???

so far i'm considering the panache andorra/jasmine, braologie lacie, and some cleos like melissa.

does anyone have advice for my breast type/scoliosis?

  • This sounds like the best type of breasts for the Cleo Lucy. The Melissa might be too open on top.

No idea about the scoliosis. Do you have to wear a back brace?

  • @jillsas I was considering the Lucy too! Your comment has offset any hesitation I had in buying it.

No, I had corrective surgery, but I don't wear a brace.
