Can you help me find some K cup bras with narrow wires?

I have finally pinned down some things about my shape and my needs. I have some Ewa Michalak in the mail in Pl and S and SM models and I am confident that the brand will work for me once I find the correct size (I ordered several different sizes as I hope I don't need to order custom sizes). I also have a Panache Jasmine in the mail in two sizes.

I've done a ton of research and can't seem to find any info on specific models of bra that would be good for my shape (which appears to be a hard one to fit for others as well). I don't want to just be stuck to one brand though, if possible.

So here's my info from my profile:
Breast Shape: My breasts are narrow rooted, full on top, very "soft", close together, high set, heavy, and my shoulders at least somewhat narrow, and I am short waisted.

Bra Needs: Narrow and short wires, narrow and low center gores, deep cups, narrow straps.

Also of note- I have tried the Curvy Kate Portia in a 32K and though way too small for me in the cups and the apex of the seams sitting in a weird place, I loved everything else about the fit. I am contemplating sizing up but I don't know if that'll fix the issue.

I've looked at Comexim and Avocado and Kris Line and they all seem too small :(

By the way, Bratabase recommends the Jasmine in 32JJ, Sienna in a 34J, Cleo Meg in a 34J as well as a CHP EM and a PL in a 70k. I have no idea why it thinks I could fit into such small cups?

Sorry for the length, but I can't figure out how to work the search for measurements thresholds so I would love the help. Thank you!

  • Searching by measurements is accessible via the 'more' section in the bar on the top of the site. Just put in the figures you want and leave everything else blank. You can even go to 'Even More Advanced Search' and manually alter the thresholds for the numbers you're entering.

You can also explore by measurements by going to the entry for any bra on the site (it's good if you have a bra which is good in some ways, but you'd like a shorter band, narrower wires, or something like that).

Site recommendations still aren't entirely spot on, and will be better in size ranges with more data, and also better if you have marked a bra as 'fitting'. For some reason, the only recommendation which is coughed up for me is the Freya Arabella in 28DD, which would be utterly ridiculous on. I remember Jj was writing recently about hoping to tweak the recommendations system a little to help with some of these things.

There's a pretty good chance you'll get a reasonable fit in EM, though I don't know how you'll feel about the band support. There seems to be divided opinion in the largest cup sizes about whether EM holds up to wear very well. I only feel secure in that ultra-stretchy powernet personally if the band is *tight*, which is the reverse of the design philosophy used. Some people find it quite comfy though.

Comexim does custom make larger cup sizes than those directly available on the site. There's bras in 65O, 75M, 75N etc which have been added to Bratabase. I know alisa was super happy with the fit and support she got in her bra.

  • Hmm, had not heard of the EM band thing. I thought the band on the Curvy Kate was perfect but all other bands I try seem too loose or stretchy or too tight. Buying a bra liner to see if I can wear a 30 without it digging.

What is Em's band philosophy exactly?

Also when I do the search by measurements nothing comes up. I tried adjusting the thresholds but maybe I'm doing it wrong because nothing is still coming up. Is there a link to how they work? I tried explore by measurements and didn't quite understand it because a lot of measurements were missing. It gets lonely in these sizes. But I will try it again as it's a good feature.

I will look into Comexim then as well, thanks.
