Bra Recycling
After reading many posts here, I noticed a trend, we all seem to buy lots of bras, most of which don't fit and never get worn. We go about our lives selfishly in pursuit of the Holy Grail of Bras not really giving much thought to those around us (I'm speaking for myself here). We try to swap or sell them here but most just go unworn. As it is the giving season I got to thinking about how I could help those in need, I don't have a lot of cash but I donate when I can and have done a little volunteer work at a woman's shelter. What I observed was that there was plenty of recycled clothes donated for the women but very few bras were available. I did a quick internet search and came up with this group http://www.brarecycling.com/about_us.html that recycles old and new bras and distributes them globally for all those in need. I think it is a worthwhile cause which is why I decided to post it. If every one of us could donate just one of our unworn bras it would make a huge difference in the lives of so many.

I usually give mine to the Salvation Army anyway.
