Starting over - how do you do it?

So I've been in this bra for a month and it fit really well until just this weekend. The straps are falling off and my boobs are escaping under the band etc etc. It's not just this bra that fits differently. It could be a fluctuation but I think not. My measurements points to my needing a size smaller in the band and a larger cup volume.

For now I have a PMS bra to wear, but it's not the best fit. I suspect my shape has changed a too and that I have more projection, but not more width than before. I'm now at +2, technically +4 in a tight band. It's the closest I'll get in this model and it's not great.

It looks like I need to start over and I'm kind of torn over how to do this. I'm concerned that I might limit my search to what I have needed up until now. My measured size has gone from 30G to 28H and correct me if I'm wrong, but that puts me in a range with a whole new set of sizing issues. It took several months to find that one good bra and I'm dreading having to go through that again.

So I would be very thankful to hear what you have done in this kind of situations. Is it better to order the same bra in a million sizes or to go for your calculated size in a million bras? Or to mix it up?

  • Pretty much in the same boat here.I know it's all different from trying on a bra I only wore two times,it ain't the bras I was wearing changing.
While I haven't been able to try new bras yet,I think it's good to mix it up.Some women on here will try their new size in the same style and it just won't work and for some it does work.
I'd pick one or two favorites to try in your new size, and then do research on the new styles and try a few in the calculated sizes and go from there.

  • I tried a range of sizes in a range of different bras. Took a couple of months. Ive been trying since july. And a lot of money. I now know what works. I cant get curvy kate or decos to work no matter how i try. I like vertically seamed bras that are lined. I know my measurements. I now try to ignore sizes and look at measurements.
