Gmail insisting on labelling Bratabase notifications as spam?

I wondered why I had two unread messages at Bratabase but hadn't received any email notification. I checked the spambox and there I found tons of Bratabase messages!

I've already previously had BB mails thrown in the spam, and I'd marked them all as "not spam", but for some reason Gmail doesn't seem to believe that I'm actually serious about that. Does anyone else have the same problem? Is there some way to get Gmail to understand that THEY ARE NOT SPAM or do I just have to constantly check the spambox and click on "not spam" until it some day in the distant future actually gets the drill?

  • has this happened recently?

I did change the way we send email actually to prevent it from being spotted as spam as the old method was already flagged by many places :S

My best recommendation is to add reply@bratabase.com and contact@bratabase.com as contacts in your address book so they don't get sent to junk again :-/

I will look into this again, thanks for letting me know I was blind to this problem.

  • Yes, they were within the last three (?) weeks or so, actually. But thanks for the tip, I'll add those to my address book! Hopefully I won't miss out on (m)any Bratabase notifications from now on :)
