New and looking for a starting size

Hi everyone. I joined this site because I have had a major size change in the last year and I am looking for a starting size. I lost weight, dropping a couple inches both in and under my bust. Then I started on birth control and gained what I lost in the cups right back while my underbust stayed the same. Going thru such a huge change led me to a few online calculators and then some blogs and then here. Yay internet!

SizemApp put me in a 32I in US sizes.
My underbust is 33" loose, 32.5" snug, 31.5" break the tape.
My bust measures 40" standing, 42.5" bending over 41" laying down.

Entering my measurements here gave me a recommendation of 34GG.

Since becoming "boob enlightened" I realized I've been wearing too loose band and too small cups my entire boobed life. I have learned the name for my "pendulous" "full on top" breasts. I realized I have massive tissue migration and even have glands migrated into my "armpit fat".

Advice is welcome.

  • Just a few questions that will help others giving advice. Are your roots wide, or do they stay on the front of your body? Are you firm or soft tissued? Do you have a style preference?

  • I don't know how to tell what kind of roots I have. I think I'm firm tissued, I have lots of glands in there. I usually do better in bras w/ seams or ones that allow for projection. Side shaping is good. I always fall out of plunge or front close bras. Underwire is a must. Hope this helps.
